I could have sued this school due to a teacher who treated me very badly, he pushed me to the ground for accidentally knocking over a girl backpack and always made fun of me in front of the class. That was 3rd grade for me and I wish I was dealt a different card. After i moved; I knew that the teacher was never fired, because I was told to give him another chance.

I was in this school since pre-k thru 3rd grade. Teachers had a great chemistry with the students. Students always did their work because teachers were strict but nice enough to have fun breaks every now and then. In all my time there we never ever had problems with anyone. School activities were fun, especially field day. Hopefully this school hasnt changed too much since then but my time there I wouldnt change for anything in the world.

The school has a great special education program. The teachers actually seem to care about the students.

This was a great place to learn good citizenship. In the 2nd grade I learned that Your teacher was to be loved, and feared. This is where I received many vaccinations - a miracle then - so everyone got one, because you still saw folks crippled from polio in the 1960s.This is where I got to watch President Kennedys last ride down Pennsylvania Avenue to the clip-clop of the cavelcade - Our teacher brought a TV to school for the entire class to watch. I also learned to defend myself with my fists on the playground.I remember when we got an actual bus to come to Breaburn Glen to pick us up. Walking in the mud sucked in the winter - there was nothing but dirt paths from Gessner to Bonham Elementary then. The library was full of great stories about heroes like Francis Marion, the Swamp Fox.Best of all, I got to take down the flag each afternoon in the 6th grade (I was a Boy Scout and knew how to fold it correctly). Byron Joe would play taps (rasberry style) when we did this. We were honored and let everyone know it!What a life playing in the wide open woods and fields of far southwestern Houston in the early and mid 1960s. Hunting rabbits with bows, catching huge alligator snapping turtles in the Braes Bayou. Tree houses in oaks in the woods along the Bayou that were higher than the two story houses we could see over.We were rich beyond measure, except for mosquitos and chiggers.I can only hope a few good things remain for the kids here today. I bet there are teachers just as fine today.

The new principal ms. White shows no really nooo concern for parents concerns ..... to pick up your child is chaos literally when I expressed my concern the principal said it would stay the way it was and they also make new rules and only let some parents know so its basically a free-for-all I want to get my kids out of this School as soon as possible . Im only writing this review after trying to express my worries to the principal with no help....
