I have to say the Teachers are wonderful! The administration are just doing their job to protect our children. Thank you for all you do!

The people at the front office are horrible. Its sad that the first faces you see are super rude! Thank God my kids dont go to this school. I dont know how parents can stand this place. They have no manners, they hate their job, and they are so slow! I came with my best friend to withdraw her daughter from isnt horrid school. Im so thankful my adoptive child isnt going to be attending this school anymore.

The principal, Shanna Swearingen is a RACIST. Shanna likes to joke about calling the police on black children. Not only that, she says, Well tell the police the black student has a gun. Meaning, its open season on black children. Im perplexed, why does Shanna still have a job?

This racist principal should be removed from office. She was contemplating calling the police and LYING about a Black special needs child saying he had a gun. That is violent and dangerous. That child could have been murdered. That is not the way to handle special needs children. She needs to find another job somewhere but NEVER anywhere near children!!! I dont care that she apologized. It was only because she got caught. At first she said it was a joke. I dont find it funny. I feel she needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY and any behavior against any POC children at that school immediately evaluated. She is racist and no POC is safe at that school. If she was decent, she would just step down.

Your principal jokes about something that is not only blatantly racist, but could get an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENT KILLED!!! If your district administration doesnt see this as grounds for dismissal, than you really are as racist as the news would have the country believe. Im ashamed with your entire district and as someone who has worked with public school students before, I think your principal is filth and should never have a job around children again. I hope all parents/guardians see this and transfer their students elsewhere.

Poor excuse for a school . THO I have to admit there are a few great teachers there. Very few. Three years ago it was very nice then got ghetto . Shame shame shame😪

When my son attended this school there was one particular teacher who was fond of structured recess which was the term used for the boot camp-like exercises his class would be forced to take part in in lieu of regular recess as a punishment for the disruptive classroom behavior of a few students. I was never informed of any behavior problems, nor was I informed of the punishment (because thats what it is) that the whole class was suffering for the actions of a few. When discussed at a parent/teacher conference I was given political excuses that answered absolutely nothing. What a disgusting way to teach children a lesson.

This school is horrible! Spring ISD school board should really look into this school and its teachers. Im not just talking about the teachers the Principe and of course Mr. Lefore. he is so bad. He yells at the kids and scares them. He questions these little kids by yelling and when they try to answer his questions he gets loud with them and tells them, thats not what I asked you and these poor little kids get all confused. Ive seen this happen over and over again, the counselor is right there along with other office staff and no one said anything to him. Ive reported it to the Principle, and she said, that doesnt sound like him, all teachers and staff are great. Of course you will cover for your teachers and not look out for the kids. The principle does not care about these kids as she says. Teachers in the cafeteria are just as bad. They yell at these kids while parents are in there, they dont care . One teacher even grabbed a student boy by his arm and pulled him out of the cafeteria. I reported this as well and of course nothing happened. This school is the worse than any school Ive known. If you are looking to move into this area and this is your zoned school. Keep looking. You do not want your children going here. I wish I had read up on this school. Now I am looking for another house to get my child out of this school and this area. I hope the school board really reads these reviews and does something about the staff members at this school. These teachers are only here for a pay check and do not love teaching. Why is the Principle still here, she should be let go. If it was a student, you better believe the student would be gone, kicked out for even saying these words. Guns at school are no joke, with all the shootings that happened at schools and many lives lost. This is no joking matter and for her to say these words in this manner is just poor judgement. All the parents that lost their child in a school shooting are not smiling or ignoring this. They are hurt and mourning their child all over again. Because its on the news and media. I cant believe she is still here. The school board is just as much to blame for this by leaving her at the school, earning a pay check. If the school board doesnt do anything about this, then there you go. Even the Spring ISD school board is just as bad as this school. They just cover up for each other. Something should be said about the school board for not taking this matter serious like they say they are. My child hates it here and I hate it here. At least I can move to a better area and school.

Schools should not employ racists who joke about the lives of black students. Shanna Swearingen is a disgusting human being and should not be allowed around children. Her joke, which is more like a death threat, is far beyond being unacceptable. She should not be allowed to work in any school.

Never have I been so Disappointed in Educational setting for my son...I had not done the research until now..I will do my best to relocate him by next year!

As rhe mother of a son who is now an adult, I am LIVID regarding the HATEFUL, RACIST JOKE made by a teacher by the name of Shanna Swearingen. Given the current, hostile climate of police brutality towards predominately Black men, and Black boys, I find ther comments hostile and disgusting. There is nothing funny about her so called joke.

Not enough home work,kids not learning,I have to teach my kids they running behind for their age,other countries have better education then usa. I travel a lot and I can see the difference.

Horrible administration. Very rude. Im white, my son is black, and every time i pick him up they make me jump through hoops to prove im supposed to pick him up even when im listed as his father. They are very unprofessional. Seem a lil racists to me. Teachers look like hoes lol smh short skirts and sloppy makeup
