One of the best schools! My daughter goes here. Wonderful staff, teachers, clean school, so organized, offers so much to the kids and parents. Truly a hidden gem. Absolutely love this school! Keep up the great work!

Great Experience! Teachers and front office staff are very nice. Principal is involved with every program and likes meeting with parents. My girls learned a lot and they had a lot of fun. Thanks for a great year!

Best school for early childhood. The teachers are awsome. Special Thanks to my baby teacher Ms. Maldonado. Eventhough the school is best for little once, the front desk people are not nice at all. They are greedy and a lot of attitude. Ladies please change your behavior. You are serving the society and you should react in the attractive way.

My wife put our daughters name on the waiting list for 2012-2013 education year,they call us in two weeks and they said we can apply in same day if we want.my wife went there in an hour , when she arrive , they said they receive a call fromthe federal government and government ask them to freeze new registrations. theygave the application form to my wife and said that they will call us back then ,sendher back.I fill the application form and return to the school next day morning , the lady at thefront office told me I can register same day. unfortunately, I forget my daughtersbirth certificate , I went to bring it back. when I arrive to the school in an Hour and ahalf , they told me there was three people show up after me and they register theirkids and there is no more space for my kid. I ask them that they are joking with me?they said we are sorry.this is not a normal, there is some things are happening in that school.....I heard they are excepting kids from other schools just by the phone call and theyare not taking care the waiting list they have in their hand. if you have some goodconnections , you can register your kid to that school easily ....I will visit the principal first if its not working, I will go to HISD directly.

Gabriela Mistral has excellent teachers. The children learn a lot. It is a fun learning environment with dedicated staff.

Last week, i had a Harris County detective show up at my job investigating me for abuse and neglect on my son. Among the allegations, they stated that i send my kids to school HUNGRY in the morning when i drop them off at school.!!! They also thought it to be a problem that my mom would drop 1 child off and Id drop the other off at times. She stated to me that there have been 4-5 calls to CPS regarding my son in the last 2 WEEKS and they ALL stem from the school. This is ridiculous.I withdrew my kids from the school because Im hoping the allegations and harrassment stop but when i took them to daycare, the daycare informed me that the school called them and told them they should not be watching my kids because NCI only covers after school. Why is the Principal of this school so set on this personal vendetta she has against me? I have done nothing but cooperate with the school, CPS and the police. When will this nightmare end???I enrolled my kids here because i want them to learn and be among children their own age but they are making things so difficult for me and hindering the education of my children.

I used to go to that school! I loved it! I rememeber one day on winter the brang ice! I was in Pre-K. Right now im in 5th Grade. God I miss that school. My teacher was Ms.Flores~ Shes so nice.

My son attended this school & I if your looking for a great school I wouldnt recommend this school. Its good but it doesnt go beyond that. The principle here acts like a sargeant & seems unfriendly & unapproachable. IDKW -She only has one grade level to be responsible for. My sons teacher was absent a whole lot, too. They send home a whole lot of papers on memos & notices instead of homework activities. This school is a Pre K only level only. Yet, they didnt even organize a proper special graduation ceremony. My sons pre k certificate was sent in his school folder along with his other class work. So tacky. - Gabriela Mistral is not what it brags to be . Not a great experience just passable.

For me until today the best there grew my little Astrid Monge! The teachers are lovely! and all the staff I love the order the rules the children feel very good there, may God bless them and keep growing and thanks for all the support to my little girl Astrid who is already in kindergarten today, thank you !!
