Classroom size is well over the Tx standard for Public Schools. Many of the instructors do not speak fluent English. Most of the education takes place on line or is provided by parents. Harmony schools do not provide access to computers for homework as other Texas Public schools do. Children with special needs appear to be discriminated against by the teachers themselves. Teachers publicly shame students on a regular basis. VERY little emphasis on art, music and theater. Harmony Schools follows a “business” model. They exist to make a profit, not to make sure children receive an education.

Based on MY OWN experience but not my expectations. Ive learn to enjoy the idea that putting my daughter in Harmony Science Acadamy in Katy has been a great dicision. My daughter is in 3rd grade and I tell you that her response to the opportunity going to this campus has been positive. She enjoys going there. I have no complaints,Yeah they might be a lot students in one classroom but if you expect different then go pay thousands of dollars for a private school. And even then , people still are not satisfied.

At first thought it was a good school for my grandson. When needed guidance on how to help my grandson. No one had time and when I went out and beyond to get help for him. Obstacles put out there very disappointed. And discouraged but will continue finding and the best for my child.

We received an email this afternoon about campus and cluster leadership expectations. Specifically, it was said that We are counting on you to make this a successful project. Please remember, teachers earning these micro-credentials is not only validation and recognition of their skills, but also a strong indication of effective coaching and instructional leadership on your part. This is very concerning. Teachers have to design lessons because the curriculum is incomplete, write classroom assessments, grade student work, deliver district assessments but grade them by hand because the central office did not provide bubble sheets, sponsor a club, attend pre- and post-observation meetings, design and deliver after school tutorials, attend weekly staff/department meetings, meet and work with instructional coaches, participate in PLCs, make phone calls to parents, do 5 home visits, substitute for free for other teachers because the campus can’t afford paid subs, and many other things. But, no campuses have all the instructional materials they need. They dont have the instructional materials they need because enrollment is down and we have no money. So, in addition to having all of their work time taken up teachers also do not have to the resources they need to teach. And now they are also supposed to complete Micro-credentials? Why are we putting this on those leaders that cant even provide teachers with what they need to teach? This is about as disconnected from reality a district administrators can get. This is a horrible place to work.

Most unethical place to work. STEM classes which are usually taught by Turkish males are kept small, but non-STEM classes such as 1st grade classes have 28-30 students in them. Central Office does not support campuses. Mandates are trickled down without training. Turkish men are placed in leadership positions without having the experience or credentials. Stay away if you value your sanity. This place is toxic.

This school is trash and if you are applying for your kids to attend this school, plzzzz INVESTIGATE FIRST ‼️‼️ I knew a student from this school who got bullied since she got there and she tried talking to her administrators but of course they don’t care WELL TIME PASSED SHE STARTED GETTING BULLIED AND SUICIDAL THOUGHTS STARTED COMING TOWARDS HER . I went to this school with her there was this one girl that was friends with her that then spread fake rumors across the school and made everyone in this school shame the other student so then this student started acting aggressive because no in listen so she took matter into her own hands and it worked she beat the student up then they expelled her but what the administrators would let us know was that she had told them several times and so when her meeting came around the girls that bullied her got defended by the administrators because they were black there yes I still go to this school and idc I’m going to point them all out their names where Mr. Dwight and Mrs.Bowie which yes the girls that started the mess got defended and never got suspended anyways after this fight the girl that got bullied was expelled ig and these other girls stayed and school and as you know these administrators covered all their mistakes up well these girls were called jaylen and jaquilla they are so messy no one likes them at the end of the day the student that bullied the other student got away with it too because she wasn’t bold enough to stand up and say it herself so she got beat up and it was funny because no one liked her either all of us call her big bird because she reminds of big bird from Sesame Street she so tall and messy anyways I’m a senior now BUT PLZ DONT APPLY TO THIS SCHOOL ITS A WHOLE SCAM THEY WILL LOWER YOUR KIDS GRADES AND THEY WILL MESS UP YOUR ATTENDANCE PLUS TEACHERS HERE ARE FRAUDS THEY INKY HAVE TURKISH TEACHERS THAT SPEAK NO ENGLISH AT ALL U CAN BARELY UNDERSTAND AND THEY ALSO PEER PREASSURE STUDENTS SO MUCH SO THINK BEFORE SIGNING YOUR STUDENTS UP

I am a student at harmony science academy in Beaumont tx and i do not like it at all i can give you many reasons why first of all our food comes Houston when we go and eat our food it is always cold and nasty our pizza and our spaghetti has so much grease and our hot dogs come out to be a greenish color and some of our milk be expired and spoiled and our school is of course k-12 but the school itself is so small we have little space to walk through to get to our lockers and another thing about my school its always cold we cant afford to fix our a/c units because we owe money so we are always cold and our classes have and have leaks witch ends up growing mold and is that a good environment to have us going to no i dont think so and i am not the only student that feels this way about the school but what can we do we are not old enough to go to another school
