I would not recommend Alexander’s Martial Arts. If you are looking for a karate studio, I urge you to find one that cares more about customer satisfaction than your wallet.I paid tuition in full for in-person lessons months prior to COVID-19, I respectfully shared that my children are not enjoying the online karate format that we are now being forced to participate in and requested a partial refund for the remainder of the year due to Alexander’s changing the arrangements that were previously agreed for in-person lessons. It appears that Mr. Alexander finds it acceptable to keep customers’ money and not provide the services that were agreed on, in addition to informing parents in writing that “any tuition paid in June and beyond will only be for the online program and not matched with additional time after in-person classes are resumed”.It’s incredibly unprofessional and shameful to change the terms of customers’ original arrangements without their consent and to do so with the funds theyve already paid. Not to mention, the tuition I paid up front for in-person lessons is greater than the tuition for their online program which means Mr. Alexander is consciously choosing to keep the difference for his business and not return it.I contacted Alexander’s multiple times to amicably resolve my concerns, but Mr. Alexander consistently failed to provide timely responses (days even weeks) and would provide incomplete and incorrect responses. As a result, I attempted to professionally resolve the matter through the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Mr. Alexander also refused to respond to the BBB.If you are considering Alexander’s, I urge you to ask yourself what kind of business refuses to respond to customer complaints – especially those who have given their money up front. Its clear that Alexander’s is not concerned with ensuring parents and children are satisfied, but only making and KEEPING its customers’ money.

This school is phenomenal! Both of my boys practice karate here and I have several gifted students that attend karate on a regular basis. It’s great for everyone, even adults. I just started last week! Karate has helped my kids (personal and my students) with confidence and respect. It has improved their discipline and goal setting! These kids are learning how to be honest and understand that it’s okay to make mistakes...as long as you TRY!! It is definitley a great physical workout, BUT...Life lessons are taught in this dojo for sure! 🙌🏻

Trainers/staff are very professional and extremely friendly too. They take the time to provide 1-1 attention during each class and always make students feel confident and happy doing their personal best.

The people in the dojo are very hospitable and have a positive demeanor. There practice is very descriptive and I thought it is very nice how they have birthday parties for the kids. Im definitely going to there dojo to become a practitioner

This business received my phone number through an event I attended with my kids. They have called me once every week over the course of a year asking for my business. I have asked countless times to have my phone number removed from their records, but they continue to call me and leave voicemails. This is no way to gain my business and I am very displeased with their methods.
