Just bought a Teton acoustic. Guitar is really nice. Glad to support a local company (yes I know its manufactured in China, but its as American made as an iPhone). Store was really helpful.

Always had been curious about Chesbro since I love Ibanez guitars and they were the western USA Ibanez distributor for many years. Nice store, and very helpful.

From the moment I walked into chesbro, I had a phenomenal customer experience. The staff was very hands on to help me find the right strat. They had great amps on the floor to try out the guitars and hear them in their full glory. I was even given access to their pedals to hear how the guitar responded to overdrive and fuzz.One negative is that this shop didn’t carry Gibsons. It wasn’t an issue for me because I was going in to buy a strat, but figured I’d mention for the sake of others who wander into Chesbros.

Very friendly staff with a wide selection of instruments. Thats probably how theyve been in business so long. We stopped in after learning that they have their own brand of acoustic guitars and ukuleles. They not only look great, they sound great and are very affordable. Since we are travelling by motorcycle, we asked and they agreed to ship our purchase home. If youre in the area and a musician, I highly recommend a stop here.

I couldn’t get by without my Chesbros. I get high on the smell just walking in. The employees have become my buddies over the years. They know what I use and need and call me by name. On the second floor is a treasure trove of sheet music and collections from the past. When I lived in Colorado their was nothing half as stocked as Chesbros in the Denver Metro area. Ditto for Utah. Idaho Falls is lucky to have this gem.

Friendly service had what I was looking for

Ive depended on Chesbros for many years to supply the printed music I use as a piano teacher. They carry such a wide selection of music and if, by chance they dont have what I need, they can order it for me. The staff has always been very pleasant and helpful. Chesbros has been a staple in southeast Idaho for as long as I can remember and i hope for many years to come!

This is a great place for any musician, beginner to advanced. They have been around for a very long time for a reason. They love what they are doing and they care. I got my saxophone from them 20 years ago and now Ive bought a flute and 2 guitars for my kids from them. Chesbro has never disappointed.

They were extremely patient with me, letting me try out several models, cranking up the volume, testing sustain pedals, and doing their best to be competitive with prices. I went there, asked to borrow a guitar cable, and the old guy there said what for? After explaining the obvious, he said he didnt want me playing anything unless I was going to buy something. He then tried to force me to use an amp that I didnt want to use. After he walked away, I plugged into the tube amp that I wanted to use. He then came back and told me that I wasnt allowed to play any of the tube amps that were out for people to try. My question is this: why have the tube amps out on the showroom floor if people arent allowed to try them? Im never coming back.

I started buying guitars and music equipment at the age of 14 and the year 1974 from Chesebro s. I had to go to the store in Rexburg just for some strings never been interested in going there I have bought guitars from everywhere Sweetwater guitar center you name it every shop every place every town I have an amazing studio I wish I could post a picture and I say I have an amazing studio so that you could actually realize just how many people I have dealt with buying.equiptment over the years.so after going in to buy some strings Ive bought two guitars so far in a very short time and I just want to say with all the MANY people Ive dealt with Michael takes customer service to a new level that I have never experienced before he makes you feel like the store is your home he meets every musical need you could ever possibly want and a customer service level I have never experienced anywhere.Michael I cant thank you enough . I would say more but I dont have enough room to say it thanks again Michael.

Been going to Chesbro Music for the past 6 years. Son has taken lessons there as well as purchased his drum set, many pairs of sticks, his acoustic and electric guitar, and a bass guitar. Always found the staff helpful and friendly.

Great music store. I play the guitar and they have a good selection of guitars, amps, and pedals.I just wish they had Gibson guitars but thats pretty much out of their power so no fault to them.

This is a great music and instrument store. Their printed music inventory is huge and their instrument inventory is equally as impressive. I have shopped here many times and have never had a bed experience. I highly recommend that everybody visit this store at least once.

Great and expansive sheet music selection over several floors, helpful and friendly staff, and a variety of services to help build community and provide practice spaces for the musically inclined. Definitely a gem of a store!

Not thrilled at all with the service of piano,lessons 110.00 a month for a child only,once a week totally outrageous. Piano gallery was way, cheaper and nicer .

I would never shop at this store, I made the mistake of signing my son up for their rental program which is nothing more than a high interest, high harassment loan scam. These guys are a complete joke. The complete lack of customer service, along with the harassing phone calls, and creepy home visits are enough for me to contact law enforcement. DO NOT give this company your business!
