We stopped in on our way to a wedding for an extra battery for my camera. I asked a goat of random questions and they were so helpful!They were so knowledgeable. We’ll be back for sure!

I hate to leave a 3 star review but I am extremely frustrated. I went into the store back in Feb 2021 and talked extensively to a man about several options for a new camera. I finally decided on the Nikon D7500 which was out of stock. I asked him to save me one when he got one in and I called a few times to get updates. Well, they finally got ONE in yesterday and Audrey called me and left a message that it was in. I went in this morning at 10 and she had sold it to another person last night - not even 3 hours after they called me! I have been waiting for 2 1/2 - 3 months for this camera to come in. At this point I am frustrated enough to not even buy from them again. I guess moral of the story is to PRE BUY the camera before it even comes in.

Wow! This place is AWESOME! They have a fantastic selection, and the store is so decorated! They have great photos around the place, and the customer service is SO friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable! I highly recommend this store! :)

AMAZING!!! Is the one word you need to know about perfect light and P.A.W trips. There is never a moment that you won’t have the best customer service. Traveling with perfect light is the whole package. Everything from amazing lodging to gourmet food. Even if you have food allergies the places will treat you like a princess and deliver you cuisine you won’t get anywhere else.

The staff at Perfect Light are incredible. This is my go-to for everything related to cameras and photography. I have purchased products here and the customer service is awesome. The classes offered are hands down the best Ive ever taken. The owner of this store is an amazing person who truly cares about each customer. His desire to see others succeed filters through his staff and directly to his customers.

Good store with good gear. Everyone there is very much Nikon and thats all they seem to push. The classes they offer are amazing and I would highly suggest them. Usually you get pretty good service but I did have one bad experience where I was in there for a good amount of time before anyone even acknowledged me. meanwhile the people working sat there talking with friends that had come into the store.

I was in need of a quick release plate for my tripod while on my trip in Idaho and they had just what I needed. For the size of shop, it carries all the essentials and more. Friendly customer service and helpful. Even offered pointers for different landscapes to photograph while in the area. Thanks mate!

I went into Perfect Light for some accessories missing from a DSLR I just bought from an individual. They were very helpful. I wasnt didnt asked if I had bought the camera there until deep into the visit and when I said no it made no difference. They were very helpful, telling me that my new-used camera was an excellent choice, and accessories were ordered.I signed up for their next class; cant wait.

I bought my first DSLR from Christopher in January of 2009. He gave me a few pointers and I had great success shooting in portrait/auto for over a year. When he opened Perfect Light, I heard about the intro class and my wife signed me up for my birthday.Christopher is a wonderful teacher. I walked away from the class shooting manual and inspired to get creative. Christopher has always been, and now the whole staff is, so fun to walk in and shoot the breeze with. This is a crew that loves photography as much now as they ever have. They’re as excited about the art as any noob is.I’m so glad Idaho Falls has a camera store. That’s pretty darn special. And if you’re buying Nikon, Canon and Sony, you won’t get a better deal anywhere else. Even online. Shop local and become part of the photo community.

I tried to go there twice when it should have been open and they were closed. I called countless times over the course of a full week and no answer or message was to why they werent in office. If zero stars was an option, Id give it that.

I took this class from Chris and was blown away by how much I could learn in a little bit of time. My DSLR has been sleeping for the last four years because I feel like I havent known how to use the dang thing so Ive been using my iPhone taking mediocre pictures. Now that Im learning how to use the DSLR the dust is coming off and Ill be able to take some incredible photos.

I cant say enough good things about this place. They really knits their stuff and are so willing to help you make the right purchase you need.

Its the only camera store in town and they sell only Canon and Nikon. There is a camera club which meets there the 2nd and 4th Thursday at 7pm. The people there are very friendly.I visited 7/24/19 to look at mirrorless Canon bodies and they have none. The nice woman behind the counter tried to get me to look at a 5D mk IV. Sorry, not interested. We can order it for you. Nope. This town is just too small and the store matches.

I took a beginners DSLR class and learned a TON. I had no idea how to use my camera prior to the class. Couldnt be happier with them. All or most of the staff are real photographers and not just salesmen.
