I remember being at that darecare, It was great! I sure do miss it a lot though.

My kids have loved the crafts that they made there. The preschool graduation they held was really funny and cute. Kids were always well fed and safe while there. They also offer rides to/from school. Thanks so much!

I love this daycare! Staff is very friendly, and willing to work with you/your children in a professional manner. I love the flexible hours - especially being open on Saturdays. My son was 4 months old when he started going here, and hes almost 1 now. He has learned a lot, and loves the staff so much!

I have a 4 year old daughter that has been going to Smart Starts for over a year. She loves going there. They do lots of activities and crafts. My daughter has also learned a lot from the preschool classes. Sometimes shecomes home with a little paint or dirt on her, but she had lots of fun.

I love this daycare! I love the people that take care of my son here! As a single parent, I would be lost without them. My son has learned so many things and brings home artwork for my refrigerator 😍 Thank you Smart Starts for helping me raise my baby. ❤️

The owners and workers of Smart Starts have literally decades of experience in child care. They specialize in the care of special needs children and follow a very inclusive policy when it comes to social interaction between different groups of kids. The staff regularly endeavor to learn better ways to care for their little friends and, as required, participate in approved continuing education courses to better improve the quality of care they provide. As far as Im aware they have never failed an inspection from CPS or Health and Welfare (routine or otherwise), and participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. The facilities are a little dated, but are clean and have a playground. They provide transportation to and from school. It is within walking distance of several parks and the zoo. In the summer they take the children on daily field trips, participate in the Idaho Falls Public Library summer reading program, summer kids movies at the Paramount theater, and find regular, age appropriate activities to keep the children engaged while they are out of school. Visit and see for yourself. These are good people and are definitely worth considering if youre looking for a new day care.

I love this place and the staff so much. They accept autism and all ages. Hours are great, awesome meals, location is really nice, and the cleanliness is always really good. I hope you take your children here.

Horrible daycare!!!! Never take your kids here . They wont be safe. My baby was 6 months old when she was there and her arm got broken. And they said horrible things about my son and were mean to him. Please keep your babies safe and dont bring them here

I’m pleased to say that my son was happy with the staff. The hours of operation were very flexible. I would have liked to see more results with the preschool and perhaps warm meals for the kiddos. I have made the decision to stop coming to the daycare due to distance and convenience . I was a bit disappointed with the lack of respect on my last day. It felt very cold and hurtful. However, overall It has been good. I look forward to coming back when time presents itself. Thank you to all of the staff.

I not only love working here, I love having my children come here. They have been coming to Smart Starts since 2010. I wouldnt trust any other place with my son. Amy is great childcare provider and truly cares about the kids. Love this place!

Please do not bring your children here! Employees are abusing children. Tossing children in cribs and Throwing toys at them. multiple people have witnessed children being dragged across the floor and being abused. The owner wont do anything about it and continues to let it happen.They are Always extremely understaffed. They dont change the children and have so many they forget to change Them all. They have employees that dont even have their child work card and CPR. Theyre dirty and never sanitize the toys or clean so children are always getting sick. They have so many children that they cant keep an eye on them all so there is children always getting hurt. This is the worst daycare in town. Im still surprised they havent been shut down yet. Theyre unprofessional and shouldnt be open.

Flexible hours, open early and late. One of the only daycare centers in Idaho Falls and Ammon to take special needs children. The staff is so great with all the children and have years of experience working with children. I love love love this daycare and recommend it to everyone!!

This place is truly amazing. My mother works so hard and loves all these children so much. She will work hard at any time of the day for those kids and its honestly heart warming. I admire how much love and respect she gives to all the kids and staff. She takes a lot of time out of her life for this daycare AND preschool and makes sure everybody is satisfatied and happy with her work.I love the staff so much. They also spend so much time out of their lives to work for Smarts Starts. I find it ridiculous how some people lie about staff hurting or abusing children. They dont yell at all to the children and are very kind to them. The staff is very kind and good here and I love it.The hours here are super good. They are fit for any parent or guardian needing to have somebody watch their children. For real though, hours are so good.Meals here are super healthy and tasty for children. They always have a proper meal plan so that kids can be healthy and happy. They have 3 meals a day (if you have a full day) and a couple snacks. Every child is always fed and not only fed but fed with good ingredients taht make kids successful in the future.I highly recommend this place to any parent or guardian who needs their children to be safe and watched. You can count on this place to have your child be safe and happy.

Negative experience from this daycare. Some of the staff swearing around the children thinking no ones hearing them. Having bed bugs at this daycare.

I take all my kids to these lovely people and my kids and i love our expeirence with them, and everyone that works here is amazing and so great with kids, they are like family!

Funny that the owner and friends are the ones only giving good reviews. I will never take my baby here and will never recommend them. I will advise not to go to them. The day care tells kids to shut up leaves them in pack n plays so they dont have to watch them. A little boy got out of the fence and was playing in the alli the neighbors had to go get a staff member located away from that paticular childs age group to go get him as no one else was there and noticed. They have a person by the front window to watch for inspectors. They have lied about staff and children ratio. Terrible terrible place.

This is the worst daycare I have had there is no communication between staff my son was constantly getting bullied and nothing was done. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone.

Not only did I work there for a short while, I left before things got worse, but my children attended there. There was a few employees I do trust with my kids however most of them dont watch the kids, leave them in dirty diapers, and yell at the kids. My oldest child wasnt being watched and they let them walk out the back door without shoes, shirt, or socks for about 10 minutes until they noticed. They also let the upstairs neighbors dog deficate in the back playground and not clean it up, that is where the children play and a child could pick that up and eat it. We did report it to the appropriate agency, but reserved inadiquate response and feedback. I do not recommend this childcare for anyone. It use to be really good, but it isnt anymore and the owner isnt doing anything about it.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I worked here and the way I was expected to treat the kids In my book was considered abuse. They expected me to let my child scream and cry in pain and not be able to help her because I did not work in her room. I witnessed staff throw kids into pack and plays and push them down if they would try and get out. I also witnessed a staff member holding down a disabled kid with other people watching without anyone stepping in. They had money issues and my checks bounced...It is not a very safe environment for the kids. Please do not bring your kids here.
