Corey Family Martial Arts has been nothing short of amazing! We were new to Summer camp and they took my daughter in with open arms! They are wonderful at making sure to communicate with parents with any changes with the field trip schedule. The children love and look up to all of the teachers here. We have had a wonderful experience, and plan to come back for the after school program!

They do an amazing job navigating the challenges of Covid and still producing great programs. My kids have attended after school, summer camp, and evening classes over the last couple years.

During the pandemic Corey Family Martial Arts saved our family! They truly were such a huge help to our community and all of the essential workers. The school system left us without any afterschool care and Corey stepped in and took over all the virtual school nightmare working parents were left with. My son has done their summer camp for years and loved it. We did the afterschool/virtual learning camp last year and I cant recommend them enough. They are kind, compassionate and truly help kids make great decisions. My son will take the lessons learned at Corey and they will be a part of his life forever. Highly recommend.

Corey Family is without question the best martial arts studio/ after school program/summer camp/school we can imagine. We never worry whether or not our 2 daughters are safe, happy, engaged, or learning the right things. Brian and Christine are magicians to balance patience, empathy, discipline and fun with the entire group of kids regardless of age.In 2020 they didn’t hesitate to find ways to keep things going and in the process allow those of us who could work to keep doing so. Our family will always be thankful for that. CFMA was our 4th after school program in our search for the level of quality we wanted. Our kids will be there through aging out and beyond with Kung Fu.

Corey Family Martial Arts is an absolute gem of a facility. My son started as an after school student and progressed to taking evening classes as well, even after he aged out of the after school program. They have reinforced his confidence, respect, and discipline. The owners actually care about the students and it shows. From the programs that they offer, to the people that they hire to help, they are dedicated to proving the best and most productive atmosphere for the children. If youre looking for a place to just babysit your kids until you get off work, this is not the place for you. However, if you want to place your kids in an environment where they can grow and become better people - you will not find a better place.

I choose to enroll my child into the school and I could not be happier. The attention to detail of the art of Kung Fu is amazing. Sefu Brian is so consider and caring with the children. He really takes time to teach them.

CFMA goes above and beyond for all offered programs! My son attends the aftercare program and I’ve seen much improvement with his behavior since attending. They dedicate 45 solid minutes for homework each day then do the martial arts instruction. My son is so proud of himself and excited to test for the next color belt this week! Not only do they offer aftercare programs, martial arts instruction, summer camp, but also fun activities such as a parents night out on certain Saturday’s! I couldn’t have found better people to trust my son with. They love kids and there is much respect from the kids to the staff and studio. I absolutely recommend this institution.

We have LOVED our experiences at Corey Family Martial Arts. The staff are fantastic; Brian and Christine have facilitated so many amazing changes in my daughter. Could not be more pleased with Corey Family Martial Arts Summer Camp. Our son was able to experience worthwhile, local activities in the morning hours and then receive fun but disciplined martial arts training in the afternoon. Organized. Firm but kind. Character-building. Caring attitude toward each child. Our son has benefited from this program, and we look forward to enrolling him next summer.

My child loves going to Corey martial arts and attends the aftercare program. Her confidence has grown so much. I’m so grateful for the teachers and the guidance. It’s an organized, clean and safe environment that makes it easy to go to work and focus. She loves Kung fu and is always trying so hard! She told me last night “mom I’m confident about things”. She is only 7 and I know this self awareness in her has come directly from Corey Martial arts. I watched a class 1st hand last week and was so incredibly impressed at how the owner and “SeFu”( Main Instructor) taught the class and expected the children to challenge themselves with a focus on team work and encouragement! I’m so thankful we found this place!!

Our son loves COREY Martial Arts. The summer program was jammed packed with fun activities.The after school program is wonderful. It is a great combo of structure and fun. Brian and Christine are a wonderful family and they treat All the kids like their own.

My boys (age 7 & 5) attended Corey Family Martial Arts summer camp for the first time. They were nervous at first, but quickly jumped in due to the welcoming nature of the Brian & Christine. They enjoyed the different field trips, art projects, and especially the kung fu instruction. Most importantly, Brian & Christine (and the rest of the staff) instill the same values we do at home - respect. This was a constant theme every day. Exceptional programs and safe, fun learning environment for kids and adults. My son has attended the after school program and summer program for 3 years and I cannot wait for my daughter to start next year when she turns 5. I also attend the evening classes and thoroughly enjoy the instruction and camaraderie. If it would let me, I would give them 10 stars!

Corey Family Martial Arts is top notch childcare and learning experience and what a wonderful experience for my son. The owners make sure the kids have a different activity every day to do, my son is learning the values of martial arts and loves learning it every day. Corey Family Martial Arts is a great place for children to go for positive and great Martial Arts training. Our 2 kids have been going there for a little over a year and they could not be happier. Sifu Brian and Christine are great with the kids. They also offer a great after school and summer camp program. When we take our kids there for summer camp or if they pick them up from school I know that I have nothing to worry about. I recommend Corey Family Martial Arts 100%.

My daughter was so excited to start in the after school program. She is very happy there, except when it is time to leave. She enjoys the martial arts, help with her homework (as do I), and the arts and crafts. I am excited to see her grow in her level of confidence and agility as the year progresses.

It is a WONDERFUL , WONDERFUL studio. Brian is a true teacherteacher/ mentor to the children.He has an amazing talent to find a key to every child. My 8y.o. son enjoys kung fu and has shown much improvement in focus and concentration , which is a miracle given his restless personality . Brian knew how to channel his abundant energy . Would recommend it to any family .

Brian, Christine and staff are amazingly great with the kids and offer exceptional care and fun, with a great balance of physical, creative and educational activities. Such a great experience - we will definitely enroll for even more weeks next summer. Highly recommend to parents looking for quality child care during the summer (they also offer after school care and evening Kung Fu classes (which we have thoroughly enjoyed for the past year).

Our family feels so fortunate to have found CFMA for our childrens after school program as well as summer camp. The Coreys are wonderful people who have put together a fantastic program that teaches our children discipline and good stewardship. Its never easy to leave your children, but we have complete confidence in Brian and Christine and appreciate all they do for our kids and our family!

Awesome after school program and summer camp. We are starting up our 4th year in the after school program and have been in the summer camp for the past 2 years. Their program promotes respect, responsibility and character building.

I am appreciative of this school. This will be my oldest sons third year. They have instilled a level of discipline, focus, and determination in him. I would recommend this program for any child.

We’ve been at CFMA for 2+ years and continue to be impressed. Classes are always varied and exciting, so our kids stay interested and never get bored. Our girls have an increased feeling of accomplishment with every rank they have EARNED along the way. Our youngest just earned her orange belt and couldn’t be more proud of herself. Your child won’t breeze their way to Black Belt here, but they will learn the value of hard work and persistence to achieve each goal...in my opinion the way it should be. Sifu Brian is paitent and encouraging with all his students and works hard to help them improve. We couldn’t ask for much more, give them a try, you’ll be glad you did.

Amazing program for summer camp, after school, and parkour. Brian and Christine really care about the kids. During after school, it is structured with time for home work, Kung Fu, and play. During summer, there is an activity planned for each day, with the kids going to museums, parks, and the pool. Each day my kids are excited to go and come home excited to share about all they did. So glad we found this place!!

I can’t say enough about Corey Family Martial Arts in general. We love them for Afterschool Care, Kung Fu and Summer Camp. However, they have kicked it up a notch with their AWESOME birthday parties! My daughter attends all of the above so it was a no brainer to have her 7th birthday here as well. She chose a Parkour (obstacle course) theme but they have others as well. This is not like other places where your kids just run wild and never see the birthday person, then come together for 15 minutes of cake. For close to an hour Brian takes them through an organized experience of your chosen theme. They get to have fun, challenge themselves and learn something new too! Corey Family really does care about the kids and what’s in their best interest and it shows through every interaction you see. Here’s the best part…all I had to do was show up with cake and goodie bags. They decorate, set everything up and tear it all down. EASIEST birthday party ever and the kids loved it! Thanks Brian and Christine!

My son started going to CFMA about a month ago. He is in the afterschool program and he loves it. I love the fact that when I check his homework at night, it is done completely, correctly and neatly. Brian and Christine are very nice and thoughtful people and I am extremely happy with the level of service we get.

Our daughter has been taking classes at CFMA for nearly two years and we could not be more pleased with her happiness and progress. She has an even greater level of confidence now after her first tournament and truly enjoyed participating in sparring, weapons form, and empty hand form. The kwoon and the equipment are kept in very nice condition for all students. Sifu Brian is a wonderful instructor and has the positive attitude that we look for when our children are involved in an outside activity. I cant say enough good things about Corey Family Martial Arts. As an adult student, I can confidently say that this school provides a well-balanced mix of traditional Kung Fu and practical, real-world application and technique. Sifu Coreys background in education shines through in his patience and adherence to the curriculum, while at the same time he exhibits an ability to expand on and supplement the style for an everyday practitioner. The kwoon / facilities are always in tip-top shape, the pricing is very reasonable, and the class structure offers something for everyone. Ive been a student at Corey Family Martial Arts for roughly 7 months and intend to remain one for the entirety of my residence in Indian Trail.

Corey Family Martial Arts is a great school. I attend the adult kung fu classes and the Filipino style boxing classes. It has been a tremendous experience. The professionalism of the Corey Family and the expertise of Sifu, Brian Corey, really makes learning these martial arts a great experience.The adult classes have a wide range of experience represented and exercises that teach and challenge the beginner as well as the experts. Sifu does an outstanding job of helping students emphasize their strengths and improve their areas of weakness.My son also attends the afterschool program and the summer camp. Getting my son involved with these programs was an excellent decision. My son is a quiet gamer type and not very outgoing. He loves the program, the structure, and the martial arts instruction. He respects and admires the Corey Family. The afterschool program has time for kung fu, homework, and free play every day.The summer camp has an outing almost every day and kung fu lessons daily.All told Corey Family Martial Arts is a principled family business that makes training meaningful, comprehensive, and enjoyable for all. They do not try to wring money out of their clients. Their financing policies are fair and straight forward. Students that go through the junior through adult programs only pay for a sash test once for each color (and not once in each program – you earn the sash as a junior and it carries over to the adult program – because you earned it the first time. I cannot say enough good things about the school or its instructors.
