All three of my kids have come here, my two youngest still attend. Pricing is amazing for both after school and summer camp. My kids love summer camp, there is always a field trip or something going on to keep the kids busy and the best part (as a parent) is that they are exhausted by the time I pick them up! The staff are great and friendly as well. I couldnt have found a better place!

My daughter loves it at the fun house. She even asks me to pick her up later so she can have more time there. Very nice people who work there, and they interact so well with the kids.

We have two children that go to the fun house and they keep them happy and busy.I love that they are always doing field trips during the summer break to all of the cool places they go. All 4 of my children attend after school and summer camp at The Fun House and they LOVE it! The field trips are great and there are always plenty of activities for the kids to do. Ive known Wendy for 5 years and I have 2 children with special needs, Wendy has ALWAYS made sure that each childs needs are met.If you are looking for a super rigid, super structured after school/summer program then this is not the right choice for you.The Fun House encourages children to be themselves and promotes their strengths while helping build their confidence in their areas of need. All of my children have thrived while being in her care and the care of her team. I have found them to be open, honest and very cooperative in dealing with any concern or issue. The rates are competitive and the hours are great! Wendy also always makes herself available to answer any questions, discuss suggestions and feedback and just when I want to check in and see how my kids are doing. I couldnt imagine sending them anywhere better!

Ms. Wendy and staff made my children feel safe while attending after school. I had 2 children there and my kids enjoyed the atmosphere the staff created for them to release after school. Only left because of distance between home and facility.

My kiddos LOVE the Fun House and all the staff as well! They treat the kids like their own and they keep the kids so busy, especially during summer break!

The owner was formerly with the Union County Public School system. This program provides a safe and active arena in which the children can grow and develop. My son has been attending this after school program for several years. He loves the summer camp also. He is exhausted and happy at days end! They have numerous field trips that include Carowinds, a big hit!

My two children have been going to the funhouse since day one, and we have known Wendy since she was at the public school after school program. She ALWAYS has the best interest of the kids at heart. She provides a safe, fun environment and I feel comfortable leaving my children with her anytime. If you want a program that allows your kids to be kids, but still has a bit of structure and a caring provider, go to the fun house in Indian trail. You wont be sorry.

My son and daughter have been with Ms. Wendy since she worked for Union County Schools, and they have attended after school and summer camp at The Fun House since it opened. I cant say enough about how fantastic Wendy and her staff have been. My daughter, who is shy and often allows stronger personalities to run over her, has enjoyed all the extra curricular activities provided there and under the guidance of The Fun House staff, has blossomed socially under their care. My son who is on the Autism spectrum has experienced a level of understanding about his differences that he hasnt had many other places. Theyve been accommodating, concerned, interested in, involved, and understanding of his limitations and have fostered his strengths, allowing him to overcome many those limitations. I love the fact that they provide after school care for older kids beyond elementary school because not all middle schoolers are ready to be at home by themselves until mom and dad get home. It will be a sad day in our family when we pick them up from after school or camp for the last time.

The Fun House Inc is great our son and daughter love all the staff and really enjoy all of the awesome activities. The MMO and other services are awesome for kids that need to learn creatively. The staff really care our children and we dont have any complaints.Sincerely,Jason and Jessica Gaddy

My children really love coming to The Funhouse. The great care they have received & how much they enjoy coming really puts me at ease when I have to work and they are in your care. Especially when they are always asking for an extra 10 minutes when I get there or if I can pick them up just a little bit later so they can play a little longer. My children have always had nothing but good things to say about The Funhouse. The staff have always been so wonderful & attentive to the kids in their care as well. Thank you for providing my children with a fun & safe place to be. I wouldnt want them anywhere else.

I had my three children enrolled in After School, and then Summer Camp. Less than a month into Camp I pulled them all out!*No organization; I completed my own medical permission form after my 7 year old son was not administered medication by verbal conversation, where notes were taken by the provider and put with his medicine. Somehow this message was never relayed.*My 5 year old son somehow convinced an employee not to heat his hamburger, eating a semi-frozen hamburger for lunch. Since when does a 5 year old get to make that decision?!*No communication of field trip necessities. A trip to Carowinds resulted in my daughter not eating anything nutritious for 9 hours. Lunch was served on the bus at 3 pm.*The employees are teenage to young adult girls; basically children are watching children.*Various activities and games were played in unsafe and unsupervised conditions.*My daughter was picked up from school in a personal vehicle (car), instead of the bus that is supposed to be used for transportation, also the safest. I was also never told that she would be transported in a car, nor was I told when she was.Not every place is going to be perfect but there should never be a concern of endangerment and/or neglect at a childcare facility. Needless to say, The Fun House was not fun!

Its very unfortunate that some people feel the need to act out their issues on others. This previous review is baseless and completely inaccurate. Wendy is very attentive to childrens needs and goes the extra mile to accomodate their needs anywhere, anytime. Her desire to see each child as an individual leads her to work with some very difficult personalities. She wants all kids to be given chances to do well, and will work with parents who are also difficult because she is compassionate and understands lije is challenging at times. I would absolutely trust her with any of my children!

Pleasure speaking with you Wendy, its clear you offer quality and dedication to the children you care for passionately. Id trust you with any family of mine and know theyd be better for it.

The gym area is very hot no ACThe school bus they have to go on trips no ACThey have kids as staff members They have a water cooler with no cups .. if you dont have a bottle or cup you wont drink. Most times the water cooler is emptyLots of favoritism in campEvery new boyfriend the owner has she brings them to the location.

The Fun House is an awesome afterschool/summer camp to send your children. Ms. Wendy the Director is a great person and really enjoys taking care of our kids just like their her own. The Staff is also awesome as my daughter would say. The always have great activities planned and the kids get academic learning as well through projects at the afterschool. Funhouse is truly a gem and Im blessed that I found such a unique place my daughter can attend.
