They dont let us wear collared sweaters even when the principal says we can but they dont understand when we need a better uniform policy. please help out

This school has teachers who help me when Im mad when I cant get something right. It also has students who help me. This is the right school for everybody.

Wont let kids go to bathroom after school. Most kids need to go before leaving. Other wise, they expect us to hold it in till we get home. Some kids, like me, takes quite a while to get home. Like me, takes about 30 minutes to get home. Holding that long is bad for your bladder. So we supposed to go in the morning, lunch and use a planner for one more.They say to go durring passing period but theres not enough time. They should allow kids to go to the restroom after school, like, why even block it? Its literally the end of the day.

Edison schools of the arts is the worst school I ever been to i have been suspended me and my sister multiple times they do not treat us African Americans students fairly and the principal has been very rude and not to long ago I had the police called on me because they said I refused to sit at my lunch table and they wrote me an expel letter I am no longer at Edison schools of arts. And I was also told the i was special EEd and was told that I don’t belong there and the principle told me he was sick of me in his school👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Last year i had no issues. This year, however, i have had so many problems with the staff. Bullying at this school is overlooked. The staff does not care about their students, they care about their paychecks. I have an Autistic child who was bullied so badly by fellow students and was singled out by a teacher. I took him out of the school and have now enrolled him in another school. I do not recomend this school at all. I was very dissapointed.

Like most schools, not much learning. ISTEP and Ilearn are easy, but the rest is review and physical labor.

I have 2 children( 7th grader and a 5th grader) that attend Edison Academy IPS 47 and we have been in this school for seven years now. All the staff is exceptional! We love all the teachers as well as administration. I have seen them work hard for the children and their families. Their expansion allowed for my oldest to stay three more years with them and we were elated. Mr. Tuttle and his staff are absolutely dedicated to their students and it shows in their daily efforts.

I love this school

My girls are studying here and I like it, but there is one thing that should be made clear is that the staff does not take the problems from the root, not because two students fight means that the two are guilty, when a problem happens find information and try to get to the bottom of the truth, there are students who like to abuse other children and do not do anything with them, I urge them to talk and advise these children who are bullying, maybe things are happening to them and they retaliate in school with other children, focus more on solving problems as they should be and not looking for a quick solution. Also those teachers who stop the classes because of those students who do not attend in the classroom give some time to be fixed and if they do not remove them from the classroom so they can continue with the class and the other students who are interested in studying can continue forward. If this is resolved I will give you the five stars and I would recommend it, because I really love what my girls do in this school. The teachers that are known are a love, but that is my concern, just try to find the other side of the truth to find a good solution.
