Went here for a year & yesss it is extremely expensive $$$$$.. They make it sound super easy but honestly the teachers had too much favoritism. The teachers I did like had to retire.πŸ˜“ At first I was part time because I had a job but then said I needed full time time classes to be able to get the credits I needed. Then said I could come to class till I had $500s or something like that. It was a nice to learn the things I did because it was hard to learn it on my own.

I went to AI for two years. I majored in interior design and had a 3.8 gpa.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. This school does not push its students to succeed. They do not care about your success, only your money. Their resources are falling apart. If you do some digging you will discover that they have a 0% placement rate after graduation, that means NONE of their students get a job in their field. AI is great at selling itself, theyll tell you theyre art focused and want to help you achieve your dreams. All they care about is your money. They are not a school they are a company, who takes advantage of creative peoples dreams to suck them dry. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Excellent learning environment and technology for the students. Focus is on both Art and the practical tasks for the workplace. Not just theory but career minded education so the graduate is not left with zero knowledge and alot of conceptual ideas... a great combination for the aspiring career artist.

They truly defraud the students of the school! One student in particular (no name will be mentioned) was supposed to graduate at the end of one quarter. They told this student outright that this would be the final quarter of classes, that these were the last ones needed to finish the program. A couple weeks before GRADUATION, they came back and said that this student somehow needed an additional class to complete the degree; mind you, again, that this was AFTER they had already said outright the student would not need any more classes past this quarter; they also added that this was found out by a THIRD PARTY reviewing degree requirements... they did not even check it themselves! So, this student had to stay an entire quarter after the student was supposed to GRADUATE. To add insult to injury, financial aid would not cover the additional course... so the student had to pay out of pocket for it. Great way to extort money from students.I would highly NOT RECOMMEND any student to study here.

School itself isnt bad. Most of the instructors actually care. Just dont go through student housing is avoidable. Communication barely exists, and you arent given information upon asking. The director will only email you instead of speak.

Do not go here they are a major rip-off and will harass you for money I went there for 2 years and owe them 56,000. Even if you have a great job its still hard to afford payments. They had the nerve to ask me if I could pay them 46,000 in 90 days. There are a few staff members that dont know what they are doing or talking about. I tried to drop out and they talked me into staying. Going to the school was the worst decision Ive ever made in my life. I did not pursue a career in the field that I was studying for but instead i got a better job working for some where else. What they are doing to their students and robbing them for their money should be illegal. They kept telling me that I would not have to pay my loans back that they were all scholarships and now i found out i have to pay it all back.

Such a ripoff. The only thing that wouldve made it worth it were the few good teachers but they left soon after I first started and were replaced by people that had no clue what they were doing and what they were teaching. Most of the stuff I learned was all self taught using the programs they provided (when I was actually able to use the computers that had the programs I needed.)If you want to get your degree in Media Arts and Animation I suggest IUPUI. Thats where all the good teachers from Ai Indy went.
