Our daughter has attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic School since preschool. She is now in their middle school grades. We love this school for many reasons, but we were drawn to SJOA through the love, care, compassion and commitment we felt from the administration, faculty and staff. We could truly feel that our child was loved. We also love the class sizes and the SJOA commitment to nurture the whole child through Catholic education in a diverse community. We have several school options within walking distance of our home, but for us, St. Joan of Arc offered the best school setting for our family and our child.

I was looking for a daycare for my newborn. They seemed great so I sent in a deposit. After I gave them money, they did not return my calls or emails. After several weeks of trying to confirm that I had a spot, I gave up, lost my deposit, and found a different daycare. Very disappointed.

My kids have attended SJOA since pre-K and are now in 4th & 5th grade. I can not say enough positive things about our experience. This really is a family environment that develops the whole person. From academics (whether you need extra support or a bigger challenge), to social emotional learning and leadership skills, this school will help your child develop into a successful, empathetic, contributing member of society. The adminstration and staff treat your children as their own. It is a true blessing that we found this school in a sea of choices. This is not the closest Catholic/private/public school to our neighborhood, but it feels like home to us.

This rating is for the early learning center or I should say daycare. My son was a student here and all he did was play with toys. He has tons of toys at home, so this was by far a waste of money. He was 4 years old and attended the early learning center to prep for kindergarten. The skills that my son has came from us teaching him at home not from this so-called school. They were very unorganized and not friendly. There was multiple times we came in and not one word was said to us by his teacher. On the first day of school me and my mom went early to watch him play outside. His age group did not come out at the time they were supposed to. (the schedule they gave the parents was wrong) It was the 3-year-old class outside. The teachers were watching us sitting in the car which was a good look. But then as the teachers had the kids line up and go in but they LEFT NOT ONE BUT TWO KIDS OUTSIDE. So, we waited a little to see if someone would come back out to get them...nope I had to go in and let them know that they left two kids out. Throughout the school year I asked his teacher if I could see some of his work, she would always state that she didnt have his binder together. When we finally got the binder was on the last day of school. The fact that I paid money to get a head start on his education and nothing shows for it is sad and disappointing. They did not have any field trips, concerts, breakfast with parents or a graduation. We didnt get school pictures taken until the spring. If you are looking for your child to actually learn something choose a different school all your kids will do here Is play with toys.

Ive gone to the school since I was in preschool and all my siblings and two of my cousins went there, the school has its problems, but all schools do. It is a great school to sent your kids. The staff is so sweet and helpful and polite and to talk to. They have the most helpful and kind student body.

Sent my 11 month old baby there for a week and he ended up having to go to the hospital. On top of the bruises and cut, they dont believe in basic hygiene so he got an infection. They provided no explanation. It is mostly staffed by high schoolers.

A very disorganized school that falsely claims to have a great student-teacher ratio, but is actually just using a lot of high school students to up their teacher ratio and have no curriculum or real care. just toy time.
