As an employee of this site for two years who interacts daily with our students, I love coming to work here every day. It’s separate from Marian University’s main campus and is in a building right by the Pyramids. Last year, we moved up a floor to the fourth floor into a freshly renovated space and it has been great to see our students learn here. It has two classrooms, two simulation labs, enhanced debriefing rooms, two exam rooms, a dedicated student break room, and a locker area. The new labs have state-of-the-art clinical equipment, hospital beds, and medical manikins — a great, safe, and realistic environment for students to practice interacting with live patients in the real world and gain confidence heading into clinicals. Overall, we couldn’t ask for a better place for our students to come for labs, take exams, and connect with their fellow nursing students and instructors.
