I had the best experience yesterday! Tanner did such a good job of communicating with me about areas I wanted him to work on. He was careful to apply the pressure that I was comfortable with. He was very knowledgeable about what he thought would be help me in certain areas. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Thank you!!

Went to PCI Saturday morning to get hair and makeup services done for my friends wedding. We had our bridal party and the bride, these ladies took great care of all of us! I had Bailey and she was amazing! I was in absolute LOVE with my hair. Was such a great experience and good conversation. Their (instructor) that day was also very helpful and super awesome. I would highly recommend going to PCI Academy. You ladies are doing a wonderful job keep up the good work 👏

I cannot begin to tell you how unprofessional this company is. Do not give them any money until you have ALL the information you need. They will pressure you by saying there’s only certain spots left just to take your application fee. The financial aid advisor, Jenny, and Mary in the office are not helpful. Mary would mute Jenny on the phone and talk about how Jenny doesn’t do her job. They refuse to give me my application fee back even though the information was not given to me correctly. I left that place and she was following me out of the office about in tears because she new how big of a joke this is! If anyone has any questions more about this I would gladly tell them more.

Alejandra did a great job with my haircut. I have naturally curly hair and am very specific about how it needs to be cut and layered. She did a great job listening to me and understood exactly what I wanted. My hair looks great.. the best it has looked in a couple years!!

Had an amazing experience here. Lydia was my student and she did an impeccable job with color! She did not pressure me into doing anything I didnt want to do and I am excited to be back some day. Best college to get your hair cut or colored by far.

Awesome experience! Very cheap haircut, but still great quality. The instructor comes around often to check everything, too! Extremely knowledgeable and recommended products without pressuring you to buy. Bailei was awesome!

What an awesome place to get a whole array of salon services for much less than any hair salon in town! Plus it’s such a great way to support our successful students along their journey of opening salon businesses of their own. I was able to use their website easily to book my haircut appointment with the ability to view prices of all services offered upfront so there were no surprises. I did choose to go with the next available agent so that part I didn’t know until I booked but I did also have the option to request for certain ones. I was also able to request in the comment box to add an Olaplex treatment with my haircut. My stylist was named Angel who was absolutely amazing! He was so very patient and took such good care and time to make sure my hair turned out the way I wanted it. Definitely recommend him and this clean and modern salon on the east side of Iowa City. So many beauty services to choose from as well as plenty of parking. If you have the time you could literally spend a whole day here pampering yourself since it’s so much more affordable!

Ashlyn has cut my hair three times and each time I have come away very pleased! You cant beat the prices, everyone I encounter are professional and friendly.

I have never done waxing or anything like that, and I went to see my work friend Dana. She was super helpful and nice, we laughed a lot, and the teacher that helped her was really really kind and supportive as well. Had such a great time I might have to come back for another service ;) (I dont do make up/skin stuff like this, so thats a lot for me). Would definitely recommend!

I went to Jessica’s Miles for my first ever lash extensions. She was AMAZING! I highly recommend. She has a lot of experience with extensions and did a fabulous job. Not only was the service amazing, she’s a super cool and nice person to talk to during the process.

Went here for the first time for a highlight. I am someone who doesn’t get their hair highlighted often and was hesitant to do it out of fear of someone ruining my hair. Someone recommended PCI to me and I was impressed with their process and service. Branden was awesome and fun to talk to, and he walked me through every step and was very respectful of my individual needs and wishes. I would hands down go to him again!

I must say the lady who did my hair was sweet . But what in the world that a balayage end up with full head bleached hair ( yes they are same color there is no highlights area at all ) . Specially when I got home and wash my hair, there are still bleaches on it . I know that I shouldn’t except super high quality since students are still in training . But please , balayage should never end with one hair color ….. I will not recommend here

My son and I visited Morgan & Jane for manicures and pedicures tonight. Both women were professional, had great product and service knowledge, and were extremely kind. Everything was super clean. Both women were kid friendly. We have plans for many more mother-son dates here!

I had the most Amazing young lady help me named Addisyn. I got a pedicure which was much needed and she explained to me how to better take care of my nails and feet. Best service I have ever had!! Would highly recommend. A+!

Abbi colored my hair, did a pedi, and tinted and waxed my eyebrows 😊 she did an amazing job!

Hailey put highlights in my hair to match my grey regrowth. Ive been struggling trying to explain to others stylist what I wanted. Hailey did a great job. My hair looks and feels wonderful. She also did a protein treatment after the highlights, and I think that was important to keep my hair healthy since Ive also been struggling with split ends due to all the lightening to my hair. So far, my ends look great!

Ive gone several time and my hair looks amazing. Ive had cut and color done. I also had a great pedicure today. Everyone is super nice and the salon is very clean and and hip.

The teachers don’t care about the student education. The system sets the students up for failure and then we are punished for things out of our control and not our faults. The teachers are never to be found when they are needed throughout a service and leave the clients waiting too long in between steps. Then the student gets failed for not getting an ok before moving on in the process. They care more about the rules than the students success. Highly NOT recommended.

I found out about this academy through facebook. There was an advertisement for a super affordable cut and conditioning treatment. I wanted a drastic cut, 13 inches. Makenna was very thorough. She was patient with me while I explained how I wanted my hair cut, even when I didnt know how to articulate exactly what I had in mind. She asked the right questions to figure out what I was wanting. Her instructed was very knowledgeable and even taught her a new technique with blending layers. My hair looked and felt incredible afterwards. I would have gladly paid much for this service, but the bargain made it that much better! I highly recommend this salon.

I got the opportunity to learn a lot from the massage therapy educator, Mrs. Teresa Sullivan and got to experience a very deep and RELAXING massage from Katie. I’ve had plenty hair styles, facials, waxing, and mani pedi’s done as well. I highly recommend this place, it’s affordable and the students are properly guided so you are well taken care of. Don’t miss out!

This school is very professional I am so happy to start here. One thing I can say about this Campus if the, admission doesnt answer the phone and you leave a voice-mail. They do get back at you the same day. I got a call back Pci Academy is nice i shouldve came here first. Before I went to Illinois school Pci Academy care about you, plus they want to see you succeed. Unlike some schools just want to waste your time. I regret not coming to this school first. Its ok because I start in July, the Enroll Coach was very nice, respectful, and helpful. The students was very nice and polite. I will recommended this school to anybody, that want to start their career should come here. This is the best school that you can come to in Iowa city, Iowa. If I can give this school Ten stars I most definitely would.
