I cant say enough great things about Jungle Fitness! I have gone to several gyms and met other personal trainers before, but have never seen results as quickly as I have since joining the Jungle fam.When I first came to Jon and his team, I was welcomed with positive energy and enthusiasm (he truly does love his job, no doubt). He communicated exactly what to expect out of the program and has kept his promises ever since. We took my measurements the first day (and have been doing so once every month), communicate through group chat (responses within an hour), introduced me to my trainer and did an introductory gym session to see where I was at. I loved his teams so much, I committed to one year within the first hour. The energy and camaraderie was awesome.Most importantly, the trainer I was partnered up with has been amazing. Heaven Lee is knowledgeable, observant, extremely technical, and pushes me without burning me out. During our first training session I barely able to complete 3 sets of workouts. After the first month, my endurance had increased, I was lifting heavier weights, and my body fat dropped significantly. Now, we do 2 circuits per gym session, each about 30 minutes, usually consisting of 5 sets of 3 workouts (1 hour total). Since May 2021 until now, I have lost ~9% body fat, if not more. Its truly because Heaven has taken such diligent care of me. She observes my body movements, listens when something doesnt feel right, has a deep pool of knowledge when it comes to isolating muscles, and is super flexible if I ever need to reschedule. Not to mention, she is super positive and easy to talk to. She treats her clients like her friends! Ive never met anyone who didnt enjoy training with her.In the photo below, I started off the year at my heaviest. I was not going to the gym, eating whatever I wanted, and was so self conscious about my body that I stopped taking photos with my face in it. I am a petite person so I thought I could get away with eating right and not going to the gym. But for 3 months, I was not eating enough (less than 600 calories a day)! Although I lost several lbs. due to that, I was still at an unhealthy body fat %. Fast forward till now, I am on a meal plan, stronger than I have been in years, and my confidence sky rocketed.That brings me to my last point. What sets Jungle Fitness apart is the extra mile they go to ensure their clients see results asap. After joining the gym, I was put on a meal plan specifically for my body type and fitness goals. It was broken down by meal, calories, water intake, and supplements for recovery and max GAINS. They sell most (if not all) the supplements you need at the gym and restock often. They even have a meal delivery service for those of us with hectic schedules. Their meal plans have had the biggest impact on my fitness journey. Not to mention they keep me accountable :)If you are on the fence about joining a gym, consider Jungle Fitness. Theyll take care of you and will find a program that works for your lifestyle and goals. If you stick to their advice, you wont regret it.

Marvin is the absolute best trainer you could ever ask for! He is knowledgable and extremely talented at adapting to various body types and fitness levels to ensure you meet your goals. He is supportive in and out of the gym setting and can help you stay accountable in whichever way works best for you. I could not recommend a better person to trust with your lifestyle change! The entire Jungle Fitness family is extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. Highly recommend!

Jungle fitness provided me a really amazing community of athletes and regular people that wanted to improve every day, I met some of the most down to earth people here & I went from a skinny guy that had never lifted a barbell to someone who lifts almost everyday. 10/10 recommend this place and special shout-out to bryan for being an absolute legend.

Im glad that I can find Jungle Fitness during COVID. Since I had gained weight and stressed a few months ago, my doctor advised me to do exercise. I choose to go to the gym to be healthier and be able to wear nice dresses. I met Jon who is professional, helpful and enthusiastic to help me with my goal by consulting a healthy diet and a training plan. I go to Jungle Fitness twice a week and the schedule is flexible for my working schedule. My trainer, Heaven, is so friendly, positive and knowledgeable. She knows my knees are painful and she was able to adjust the training to encourage me practicing with my knees. My knees were getting better within 2 weeks. I also lose weight after a month with Jungle Fitness. Thank you so much, Heaven and Jon.

Jungle fitness takes a family-first approach to reaching your goals. At the very start of meeting my trainers, the relationship was far from transactional. We talked about my fitness history, my goals, my measurements, my shortcomings, and my realistic expectations.The first workout was hard, but not extreme. My trainer pushed me just enough, but naturally backed off and listened when he could see I was at my limit.Every session is challenging. But everyone is welcoming and supportive. I find myself making smarter nutrition decisions in my personal life, so I can stay on track. I highly recommend the team at Jungle Fitness to anyone at any level of fitness. Just bring your “A” game every time!

I have had Jungle Fitness on my radar for a few years, and I finally decided to take the plunge in October. I previously started my fitness journey in 2018; however, I was struggling with staying motivated and I was at a point in my life where I truly needed to focus on my self-care. Jon is the nicest person you will ever meet. You can see how passionate and attentive he is; furthermore, he truly cares about each and every client. Jon perfectly paired me up with Steve, who understood my serious goals in building muscle mass and strength. Steve is an amazing trainer who is highly knowledgeable, caring, and truly works with you to succeed. Steve did a great job personalizing my workouts to match my goals, and certainly packed the intensity as I trained with him 4 times per week. He kept me motivated and properly taught me how to eat nutritiously. Since October, I was able to drop from 33.66% body fat to 17.67% body fat, while increasing muscle mass and strength. Not only did my confidence increase, but also my physical and mental health improved as well. I have learned so much from Steve, and I am now able to apply this knowledge to keep the momentum going towards my lifelong journey of fitness and wellness. I have met so many great individuals at Jungle Fitness. The staff and all the clients provide a wonderful supportive environment. It is truly a family! I highly recommend Jungle Fitness to everyone out there striving to reach their fitness and health goals!

Been working out here with Bryan and Jon for about a month now. Gotta say Jungle Fitness has some of the best energy out of any gym Ive been to, and Ive tried out a lot of gyms. Every time I come in Im not only scared of the brutal workout but I also cant wait to see how Im gonna push my limits! The trainers are motivating, comedic, and personal. At Jungle Fitness, I achieved my goals and learned how to be better. The first day I meet coach Jun we measured the body fat, waistline, and every data we need for day 1. What’s more, we set up a training plan in order to achieve the goals and I have to admit coach Jun and Steve are very professional and inspirational. Fasting and a healthy diet plan are what I learned from the coaches. Now I have formed a habit from the training and I do believe I will be benefited lifelong. They got my goal achieved and I definitely believe you can get your results if you follow the plan!!! Jungle Fitness is just 100% the best gym in OC, there are various selections of equipment and the environment is neat and organized. If you are merely thinking of stopping by, I highly recommend you make the investment.We stopped by for a consultation and were immediately greeted by Jon and his infectious high energy. We had a tour of the gorgeous facilities and even got to meet a few of the trainers. Jon was super friendly and didnt let his expertise get ahead of the fact that the average person isnt as educated in his field of expertise. Jon was very respectful and courteous while taking all the measurements and then got down to defining our goals. All whilst keeping an eye on every client working out around us(all of whom he greeted by name). The location is great and every person we spoke to was clearly very proud to be a part of Jungle Fitness.Well Done Jon.You must be extremely proud of what you have built.

I have had numerous personal trainers in my life all over the world but never have I been so motivated as I was training at Jungle Fitness. I was in the area for 3 months and with the help of the awesome coach Marvin I managed to get in the best shape I have for many years.Coach Jon and his team at Jungle Fitness find out who you are from day one, making sure you never get bored with your workout by constantly mixing up the routine. Each session I knew I could never be sure what to expect, as Marvin would change up exercises, reps and set amounts, meaning I was never bored and was always excited to train.The biggest difference with this fitness family (as thats what it feels like), is that they care about your goals and want to see you achieve them, without feeling intimidated. I highly recommend Coach Marvin as a trainer, or becoming part of the Jungle Fitness family in anyway.A friendly, motivating, and exciting gym where you WILL achieve goals.

Ive been working out on my own since high school but never saw any real results. No matter how many fitness articles I read online or different workout plans I tried, I never saw the results I wanted. After years of not progressing at the rate I wanted, I knew it was time I sought help from a trainer. When I called Jungle Fitness, I was surprised that the owner, Jon, was the person who I was talking to! Most places would have a receptionist handle new client questions, but Jon takes it upon himself to speak with every client and answer all their questions. Im very happy with the amazing training that I have received at Jungle Fitness. Jon and his awesome team of trainers have been an amazing source of knowledge and motivation for me on my fitness journey. The results will speak for themselves. Thank you Jon for everything!

Jungle was an all around awesome experience. I gained roughly 20 pounds in 3 months and, remarkably, lost a couple inches off my waist. I wish I could have stayed for a longer contract and see where that would have taken me, but school has cut me short. As for the trainer himself, Sam was just awesome. Though I dont know about the training regime of the other trainers, I can tell you that Sam is a great man for the job. To tell you a little bit about this guy, he is not a pushover. He doesnt let you cut corners, and hes not afraid to push your limits. In fact, it was because of his killer training methods, my fellow trainees and I forged great relationships. We were like comrades in boot camp, and he was like the crazy drill instructor who was on the hunt to kill every last one of you before the sun set (but in a good way). Because of Sam and Jungle Fitness, I am now more motivated to continue my training back at school. Hopefully, I can find a program similar to this one, but Ill tell you that the experience at Jungle was simply irreplaceable. Thanks Jon and Sam for everything youve done for me, I hope I can see you guys in the winter, even if its only for a couple weeks!

I remember going to Jungle Fitness when it was still in a smaller facility a couple years back! The new gym has the perfect amount of space-- gym wise and office wise! I feel so welcome by all the trainers and people who come and workout as well! And the best part is, they always give it their all when they train you. I never want to ask for another personal trainer at any other gym ever again because the level of motivation and dedication these people have is beautiful. Definitely recommend this gym to anyone who wants to see fast results and feel confident once more!

What can I say about Jungle Fitness that hasnt already been said?First of all Jon Jung is the consummate businessman. He runs the gym, but doesnt micro-manage his trainers.However, if theres a problem; he wants to know right away and nip it in the bud. Jon is really fair, always super positive, and one of the hardest workers that Ive ever encountered. Very few people outwork this guy.After a stressful day at work, all I want to do is come in and get a super workout in. Most of the folks that go to Jungle Fitness are very friendly as well as the staff.Ive been working with Bryan Schutte for the past several months and have found him a pleasure to work with. Im seeing some results; both physically and mentally. Bryan comes to work with a smile on his face, a skull cap on his head, and a positive outlook on life. He will push you hard, but knows when to stop (meaning he doesnt push you over the edge). He wants you to live for another workout.If you live in Orange County and youre looking to make a change in your physical and mental well being, Jungle Fitness would definitely be a place that Id recommend looking into.

I was introduced to Jon by a semi pro that he trained. Im in my 40s and wanted to get back into shape. Jon took the time to address my needs and gave me a program specific to my goals and patiently worked with me though out my progress. At the end of 3 months working with Jons guidance I was able to lose 25 lbs and gain back the muscularity I lost in my youth. Id highly recommend Jon and Jungle Fitness to anyone seeking to improve ones health and fitness. Jungle fitness provides a friendly workout environment unlike other gyms which are filled with egomaniacs. Its a decent sized gym and has enough equipment for all your needs.At my time here Ive noticed great results which I couldnt have gotten on my own. The workouts are fun and challenging. Definitely one of the best personal trainer gyms Ive crossed upon. They can be pretty flexible with scheduling workouts.John is the owner so youll be speaking with him. He might look intimidating from the photos but hes a chill guy. This gym is by far the BEST gym Ive ever been a member of. This is a no nonsense gym with knowledgeable trainers. Theres nothing fancy here and no gimmicks, just straight up hard core fitness training. The trainers push you to your limits and you see results right away. Measurements and weight are consistently monitored. Theres a professional atmosphere, never too crowded, no waiting to use equipment and an awesome, positive vibe. All other gyms should learn from these guys. I am truly a Jungle Fitness addict. If youre looking to get in shape the RIGHT WAY, then you need to hit these guys up. I am so happy with the progress Ive made and I owe it all to JUNGLE!

Dale was my trainer, and he is amazing he can get you the results you are looking for. Over my 6-month training here my face became more cut, people started telling me I look more masculine, and I fit into my old jeans (lost an inch in the hips but still retained muscle). I wish I could have trained longer, but Im moving for work now. Be ready to SWEAT and get results.

I have been working with coach Dale for six months, and he is very knowledgeable about bodybuilding and contest prep. He is always available for questions and keeps me motivated. Jungle fitness is a great gym with lots of equipment and the workouts are always different. I highly recommend it!

These guys are awesome! I had my first training session there, it was a blast. The trainers really look out to make sure theyre pushing you, but yet keep the level proper, safe and fun! They work muscles that you never knew existed. As a very active and fit individual, I was totally surprised at the effects of changing things up in the workout! The gym is located in a great area, clean, fun attitude, great looking people there to work out with. The owner was so accommodating! VERY HIGHLY recommend this gym to anyone looking to take their fitness to a new level!!!

I made a decision a few months ago to compete in my first physique competition at the tender age of 52. I met Jon Jung at Jungle Fitness and hired him as my coach to get me ready so I dont embarrass myself on stage for the first time. Not only did he help get me in the best shape of my life......I ended up winning the show. This would not have happened had it not been for his constant encouragement and attention. I found Jungle Fitness while searching for a local personal training experience that would push me past the fitness progress Id been able to attain on my own. I knew the basics but I wanted more, and Jon brings that to the table and so much more! From the moment we met, his warm, energetic personality and passion for fitness and bodybuilding told me all I needed to know. I was making gains in just the first month and I never looked back.I didnt know going in that Id be agreeing to compete in physique competitions under his guidance, but I found out quickly it was exactly what I needed to push myself to the next level. I just competed in my first physique show at age 36 and look better than ever! Just to let everybody know, this is not your ordinary gym. This is no LA fitness or 24 hour, or those other gyms who have personal trainers that dont know anything. Jon knows his stuff. And I got a pleasure to workout with him. He not just say and babble on things but I actually see him do it with me. So, its a legit place to be in. It may not be as fancy as those gyms out there, but this is where you go if you are serious with training like a beast, and getting the results you want.Just go. Enough said. You have to experience it on your own.

Jungle fitness has been an awesome experience for me. From day 1 meeting Jon, he was very friendly and did not try to pressure me at all to join. He set me up with Zurie who is soo down to earth and awesome!! He is the best trainer ever! I️ felt insecure going into my regular gym, 24 hour fitness, because of fear that I️ had bad form, but that wasn’t the case here. I️ felt so comfortable and supported by my trainer here. The whole work out goes by quickly. He tailors my work outs to my goals, and has different workouts every time I’m in. After the first month, I’d already lost 2% body fat which was very impressive for me. My goals were to gain muscle and lose fat, which is exactly what I️ accomplished. Additionally I feel so much stronger, and feel more energetic. It has been such a fantastic experience, and I️ highly recommend it!!

When I initially came to check out this place I had no intention to commit the same day. After meeting with Jon and his wife for my consultation, I knew immediately that I had to sign up and get started asap. They were both very encouraging and reassuring that I was making the right decision towards my fitness goal.My trainer, Zurie is the probably the BEST trainer there! He is very motivating and actually has taught me how to enjoy working out. Zurie is very dedicated to his clients and I love his flexibility with my schedule.I started at about 115 lbs and now at 105 lbs. My results so far are amazing! I love how toned I have become and finally a 4 pack of abs!!!! 10 lbs doesnt sound like much but after looking at my before and after pictures you can see the difference.Jungle Fitness is definitely an investment but it is honestly all worth it in the end. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to really change their lifestyle to get fit and healthy!

I trained at Jungle for about a month and am incredibly pleased with the progress I made during my stay: I lost about 2.5 inches around my waist and a significant amount of fat around my arms and thighs. I attribute my success to my trainer Sam who is most definitely a BEAST! I came to Jungle expecting a challenge, which is what was delivered (physically AND mentally) along with sweat and pain (the good kind ;) ). Sam never allowed me to quit and whenever I displayed signs of fatigue and lackluster, he would encourage me until completion. Although I was only able to train for a month, I know that Sam has given me the tools in order to continue with progress on my own. He is extremely knowledgeable and an incredible person overall.Many thanks to Jon, the owner, who made the process of training easy for me. Additionally, many thanks to the other trainers and members of Jungle Fitness for making the environment friendly and welcoming. I could have wanted nothing more—Jungle is truly a remarkable gym with amazing people.

Jungle Fitness has done more for my health and appearance than anything else. Ive tried dozens of gyms, home workouts, and other fitness activities (Tough Mudders, ultimate frisbee, etc.). Jungle Fitness beats them all by a large margin.I joined Jungle Fitness when I was still recovering from a back injury that left me bed-ridden for months. I was in the worst physical condition of my life. But people started to notice improvements to my physical appearance just a couple months after I started working out at Jungle Fitness. Now, a little over two years later, I am in the best physical condition of my life. I have more muscle, less body fat, more energy, better posture, fewer aches/pains, and greater flexibility. For the first time in my life, Im proud of my body.My trainer Zurie is incredible. Honestly, I couldnt imagine someone better. He pushes me just the right amount. He has a deep knowledge of kinesiology, anatomy, and nutrition. Hes an exceptional teacher. He has a great sense of humor, and his enthusiasm is contagious.I met Jon (the owner) on my first day. He was thoughtful, attentive, and encouraging during our initial consultation. Ever since then, he always says hi and asks how Im doing when I see him at the gym. Hes a very warm person, and he created an amazing community at Jungle Fitness.Speaking of which, the culture at Jungle Fitness is probably one of its best features. The gym welcomes people of different ages, walks of life, and fitness levels. It isnt competitive or intimidating. Its friendly.The gym facilitates extreme efficiency. Zurie customizes each workout to maximize my personal gains. And the gym never feels crowded. Ive never had to wait to use weights or machines. I get a lot out of every workout.I hate working out even though I know its good for me. (Thats probably why Ive tried so many alternatives.) But I love Jungle Fitness. It changed my life, and it will change yours if you let it.

Ive been seeing Bryan for about 5 weeks now, and I felt inclined to write a review on my progress thus far!I was able to lose quite a bit of weight on my own, prior to joining Jungle Fitness... But, eventually, I plateaued with my weight loss, so I began looking for a trainer to help me shed those last few pounds, as well as build some muscle mass. I found Jungle Fitness through Yelp, and met with Jon for a consultation. Once I was financially ready to commit, I let Jon know, and he matched me up with Bryan, as my trainer.Bryan has been great! One of the things I love best about his workouts, is that he changes it up, just about every time. He thinks of non-traditional ways to work muscle groups... In an enjoyable manner! I mean, who doesnt like slamming a sledge hammer down on a tire?! He gets a little bit of everything into each workout... Cardio, core, weight training, etc... While, every bit of the way, encouraging me and never letting me quit. Hes also been very flexible with scheduling our workouts, which is super helpful.Its only been 5 weeks thus far, but Ive already lost almost 5 pounds (which is actually a lot for someone of my size)!! Of course, a lot of it has to do with eating right, and staying active on your days off... But thanks to Bryan and our workouts, I can feel my energy and stamina levels increasing, Im getting stronger every day, and just feeling great!Ive seen and met a few other trainers at Jungle Fitness... And they all seem super awesome... But I definintely feel like I lucked out with Bryan!

JFOC is great and I would recommend it to anyone looking to improve their personal fitness. From weekend warrior to professional athlete they have the knowledge, experience, and equipment to meet your needs. As far as the training goes, it is terrific. After just four months of working out twice a week I am in the best shape of my life. I can do things now that I could never do before and I owe it to Jungle Fitness and Bryan (my trainer). He has come up with new and challenging workouts every day while still keeping focus on my overall fitness goals. At Jungle Fitness they are serious about your health and fitness.

An absolutely great experience. Great trainers, great knowledge, and great motivation. Prior to training at Jungle Fitness, I have always struggled with gaining weight to bulk. I tried everything; harder workouts, eating fattier foods, and spending ridiculous amounts of time in the gym. All with no results.I decided to give Jungle Fitness a try, and within a week of training with Coach Jon Jung, I went from 140lbs to 149lbs. Ive never been able to gain weight that fast in one week. I realized to myself that I have been training all wrong.From my very first workout, I felt a burn as if I have never stepped foot into a gym because it was that difficult. I wanted to give up because it was so hard, but, Coach Jon didnt let me. He pushed me to my limits and motivated me all the way through. He gave me a diet plan designed to help me put on muscle mass, and sure enough, I gained 9 pounds within a week.I could not be more thankful for all of the mental and physical motivation that these trainers provide at Jungle Fitness. Amazing place to workout with great trainers. Theyre always up beat and make working out a joy. I started there in February 2016 @ 230lbs and in four months I have lost over 40lbs and am currently at 186lbs.If you want that body youve always dreamed of reach out to Jon and his trainers, and take a look at the wall in his gym showing all the transformations hes helped people with.If I could do it all over again, I wouldnt hesitate and would do it all over again. My experience with Jungle Fitness has been incredibly positive and rewarding. I wasn’t necessarily sure what to expect on the first day with my one-on-one meeting with Jon, as it was new to me to discuss my goals and background with the actual gym owner before. The amount of personalization right off the get-go was refreshing.It’s important to note that I both came in with back/shoulder injuries from other fitness regimes and from a severe freeway accident 6 months ago. A few years back I had a few memberships with CrossFit and CrossFit-esque gyms, which often lead to injury because of lack of individual attention and the extremely competitive atmosphere. This also lead me to cancel my memberships to those programs and unable to train for long periods of time, thus losing any progress.Unlike those other gyms, Jungle Fitness has a great fitness program that also facilitates proper form, accountability for lifestyle changes, and a “competing against yourself” vibe. At other gyms I would be anxious before walking into the doors, but this place has really surprised me with their consistently welcoming attitudes.In terms of attitudes, Coach Qoni is not only one of the most personable coaches I’ve ever worked with before joining, but he is also one of the most knowledgeable coaches I’ve trained with. Coach Qoni’s has a lot of insight into injury prevention and has never made me feel inferior when we had to modify a movement because of my back injuries. I am so appreciative that Jon had matched me with a trainer that really understood the limitations I have, and challenges me in ways that allow me to continue to train healthfully.On top of this program, I am doing a lot of outside treatments for my pain relief. Without telling him, my chiropractor has noticed my body composition changing since I’ve begun training. I also recently added physical therapy, and my first PT visit was deemed as “the best first day a patient has EVER had” by a physical therapist because my form was so good - and I can’t ignore the fact that Coach Qoni is integral to that comment.Though I have gained muscle and lost fat on this program, what is most important is that those closest to me say that I actually don’t look like I’m in an intense amount of pain anymore, and this is only after a short period of time. I still have my chronic pain, but it has gotten so much better under the guidance of Jungle Fitness. Just go here and see what I mean!

I am so happy I joined the Jungle Fitness @junglefitnessoc fambam. I love the positive vibes and energy that everyone brings to the gym.What drew me to the Jungle Fitness family was when my aunt had joined a few months ago. In accompanying her to sign up we met with the owner Jon Jung. The passion and excitement Jon @hustlegrind247 had in explaining what they provide and offer was what enrolled me and I couldnt pass up. Not only did my aunt join but my cousin had been going for about a year already with Dale @doritodale as his trainer. Seeing his discipline, dedication and transformation physically and mentally are also what inspired me to join and have Dale as my coach as well. After my sessions with Dale I come out feeling like a million bucks. The soreness kicks in but I love the pain. Dale pushes you to a level that you think you couldnt normally achieve and also pushes you to attain new goals. He really pays attention to your strengths and weaknesses to make your weaknesses your strengths as well. My goal is to not only lower my body fat but also feel healthy mentally and physically. During December of 2016 I was simply looking for a place to lift weights as a supplement to my running program. While I wasnt looking for personal training, I decided to give it a try.I contacted Jon and did the initial assessment.I signed up for 6 months of 2x week group sessions and was assigned to trainer Sam. (total cost $2400) Sam was an interesting mix of professional trainer, fun friend, and sadist. With how much I was paying, I had high expectations and Sam delivered. Sometimes, if Sam was out on UTO or vacation, I got to work with Zuri or Jon. In those cases the same high standard was delivered.The first 3 weeks were pure hell. I did not realize that this was going to mostly be HIIT (high intensity interval training). I honestly just wanted to strength train. What I learned was that all my years of making fun of HIIT and crossfit, I had missed a valuable training lesson.Example workout (I kept a log for myself):warmup run/walk/run 1.7 miles from Apt to JunglePhase1 - 5 repeatsSled Push (2x25lb plates) 50?yrdsSled Pull (2x45lb plates) 50?yrds100 Jump Rope20lb Sandbag chest carry 100?ydsPhase 2 - 4 repeatsPartner Band Twist x15Partner Band Hold x 15Phase 3 - 3 repeatsMedicine ball (14lb) overhead to toe touch x20Medicine ball (14lb) overhead w/ flutter kick x50I stuck with the program and eventually my body started to adapt. Since that time, Ive lost another 8 lbs and recently achieved a new PR on the Half Marathon Distance.If I ever need some dedicated training in the future I will probably use this group again. Id recommend 1 or 3 months however, as the 6 month contact was just too much both financially and physically.

I am truly impressed with Jungle Fitness. The gym itself has everything you need: cardio machines, all different types of weight lifting machines, free weights, ropes, tires, medicine balls, etc. You name it, they have it.Before starting here, I had never been to a professional gym, and Im not going to lie, I was intimidated... HOWEVER, meeting with the owner Jon was like seeing an old friend, he was friendly and outgoing and made me feel extremely welcome from Day 1. The gym atmosphere is very motivating: everyone is there to put in work, they play great music, and their cardio TVs play bodybuilding videos.Jon paired me up with the amazing trainer Qoni. Qoni helped me exponentially. He took me from a guy who didnt know anything about fitness or what I was doing to learning the fundamentals of bodybuilding in no time. He also set me up with a meal plan that I could work with and gave me continuing support to keep me accountable. I saw serious results after just a few months of working out with coach Q. Best of all, he gave me the skills and confidence I needed to keep up with my training.No matter what your fitness goals are, I would recommend Jungle Fitness to anyone. Youll love it!

Seeing that I was steadily gaining wight at 25 caused some self image issues, I wasnt disciplined enough to exercise and my diet was horrible. I began looking for a personal trainer to kick my butt into shape. Luckily I found jungle fitness and signed up not only myself but my siblings that day. John made us feel comfortable right away, he clearly explained how it all worked. What sold me on it was that not only was I going to train my body physically but learn let go of the junk food and follow nutritional diet.After finding out more about our fitness goals he played match maker and placed us each with the ideal trainer. ZURIE!! I am so lucky to train with him, he meets me at 5 Am in the morning and is always full of energy. He is truly passionate about what he does. He is very attentive always has my back when I forget to count. In regards to workouts and nutritions he is extremely knowledgeable. He has me doing things I have never thought of doing, slashing sledgehammer on a giant tire, and even heavy rope swinging. His motivating words and high fives are always waiting at the finish line.Every 2 weeks I get measured and sure enough the scale count lie. The bounds were shedding off. Jungle fitness has exceeded my expectations, it makes the 30 minute commute worth it.I would highly recommend Jungle fitness! If you are looking for a great kickboxing class, dont go here. I audited the class and Im glad I didnt have to pay for it. We barely did any kickboxing. We were doing jumping jacks and other exercises most of the time. Also, Jackie spent a lot of class time talking about himself and his business. I am not an advanced person but I would like to actually do some real kickboxing in a kickboxing class. He didnt care much about the class bc most of the students were from a groupon deal. I guess you get what you pay for. Look elsewhere for a great kickboxing class.

To start off, I have hypothyroid that became a goiter with multi-nodules. Any body with hypothyroidism knows losing weight is a really challenging battle with this condition. My thyroid levels were also raising and I gained a lot weight within months and hated my body My doctor told me that if my goiter grew bigger I might need surgery or radiation to remove or shrink it. I dont want to go through any of that. I found out that to prevent the goiter from growing, working out to boost my metabolism can help prevent it from growing. So I found Jungle fitness.I decided to choose Jungle fitness becuase it had a lot of positive reviews online. Its not a huge place like 24 hr, but it has everything u would need and when u workout with the trainer they really work u out hard. :)I really enjoyed this gym. I signed up with a 6 month contract and trained with the trainer 3x a week. Compare to how I was 6 months ago, I feel stronger. I remember day one I was hyperventilating, felt like I was dying, and oh yes I do remember vomiting after words. But now I feel awesome working out 💪. The first couple of days working out I felt like a failure because I felt I couldnt do most of the workouts, but the trainers are really positive and they keep u motivated. Jesse (one of the trainers) would tell me something like its hard now but it will get easier. Ure here now and not sitting on the couch. So anyone with hypothyroidism, dont give up! Working out is hard and we have to work harder to meet our goals. But we can do it!Jesse is an awesome trainer. He gives encouragement at the right time. Like when I think Im gonna drop on the floor and die from a working out, he does his clapping hand thing or rooting me on and for some reason I feel I could push pass the pain and feel re-energize. He really knows how to mix things up and not make every work out the same thing over and over. Every day is a new work out. I feel bad for him because Im not really a morning person so he kind of got my morning grumpy-ness. :)As for results 6 months later, Im happy with the results for a hypothyroid slow metabolism person. I know I loss some weight and gained muscle. To me thats awesome because losing weight is hard for my slow metabolism. I didnt think Ill lose any. My diet is good from knowing whats healthy to eat, but I know my drinking hasnt helped out at all and thats all on me my fault. :). So I know I need to be more discipline when it comes to drinking.My recent visit to the doctors for an ultrasound of my goiter showed that it has not grown and my thyroid levels has gone down to normal levels. 👍. Im super happy about that.With school and no income coming in, I cant continue my journey in battling my weight at Jungle fitness, but I would most definitely love to re-join Jungle fitness gym in the near future.Thanks Jesse and Jungle fitness. My experience with Jungle Fitness included many firsts. Ive never worked out, or really been to a gym. I didnt know how to do anything really. I couldnt lift anything. I was depressed, huge and unhealthy. I woke up one day and just decided to take the leap. Jon, the owner, was always positive, friendly and energy filled so it made the sign up process easy. I trained with Qoni. My first week, I was bench pressing only the naked bar -- sad. Within a year, I could max out at 225lbs. That was one of my goals when I signed up. Another goal was to also flip this gigantic 300lbs tire they had. I accomplished that as well. After about 18 months, I didnt end up with 6pack abs but that was only because I cant help myself when it comes to food. I did loose a LOT of weight and my physic was completely transformed. Im stronger and more confident than ever before. This lead to exploration into other physical activities including mud runs and hitting the ski slopes again after a 15 year hiatus. I could say my experience with Jungle Fitness has changed my life for the better. And, as a plus, Qoni gives great life advice so you get a free therapist - haha.

My review from 12/12/12:First of all, Id like to thank Jon for assigning my trainer, Q, who is good at kicking my butt yet makes me laugh. Secondly, all the trainers here will kick your butt guaranteed, but you need to keep up with your diet plan. Thirdly, Ive learned so many new workout moves that Ive never seen before. You can really take the training you learn here and do them at home if you move away. Definitely worth the money and way more affordable than other gyms trainers. Do the 6 month plan and see a huge difference in the first 2 months, like I did. The last 4 months will really get you closer to your goals. Trust me. Although Ive lost 30lbs on my own Aug. 2011- Feb. 2012 by just going to the gym after work every day, I plateaued. I got stuck and couldnt get to my goal weight which was 20 more lbs to lose and tone up.I saw Jon on craigslist and knew that someone with that body totally knows what hes doing, so I contacted Jon for help. Since I joined, my body has gotten more toned than ever and Ive lost about 10 lbs! Two and a half months left & I could become a bikini model! Lol. But seriously, all you ladies (single or married), this is a safe and fun place to workout. If youre shy and self conscious, its ok. They can be gentle and very encouraging. If you need a tough trainer, they can be tough and push you to your goals faster. Ive met many women here who have been coming for a long time and they look good! It might even get your husband to want to join because theyll want a hot body too! Couples who workout together are the cutest, anyway, and will definitely enjoy the results. ;) BTW, they love kids and puppies, if you must bring them by. Lol.Today:Since I stopped training (I moved back to LA), I have gained weight again especially after having a baby! I cant seem to lose the weight on my own...so...back to these Jungle Fitness trainers I go! :)

I have been postponing exercising pretty much my entire life. Yes, I have to admit that I never had enough motivation for it.One day I finally realized how bad shape I was in, and most of all, my wife was really worried sick about my health; high blood pressure, fatty liver & cholesterol after general physical checkups at the local hospital. She found Jungle Fitness for personal training based on reviews in Yelp and forced me to sign up because she knows that I wouldnt go to a regular gym due to lack of my mental commitment. Guys.. believe me.. I was always skeptical about having personal training. I always thought it was really waste of money, and most of all, I really didnt believe in it.Well.. I got finally kidnapped by my wife to sign up with Jungle Fitness for 6 months, 4 midweek program.My personal trainer was Zurie - this guy is animal.. very personal & friendly animal.. lolAnyways.. first couple weeks were so~~ hard for me, not because of the staffs or any training programs, but of my body been out of shape for a long long time. I didnt do any committed or regular physical training for almost 20 years after high school. I almost gave up but I couldnt.. mainly because of my commitment with my wife and Zurie.Its been 6 months now.. and I do love training and my body is in great shape. No high blood pressure nor cholesterol. I lost almost 24 lbs.Now I cant skip even one day because if I do, I literally feel like I didnt do one of my important daily routines, like taking a shower or delicious meal.. if you know what I mean.. hahaGuys.. if you dont know how or where to start work-out and if you are a novice like me or not motivated, then you gotta try these guys. They are just simply the best. Its totally worth it. I know its more cost than regular gym, but it DOES worth it if you think about your health. The training programs are very systematical and you will actually learn yourself how to train yourself. Then soon one day you will find yourself as an animal in jungles.Love these guys. Lets face it... Getting that sexy body weve always wanted isnt something that happens overnight. It takes sweat, tears, determination, hard work and sometimes even a little blood. There is NO cheat for this. No magic pill, no easy solution, no compromise. Ive always known this on a personal level but throughout the years Ive continued to miss my goals and maintain my strong mentality. Tired of looking like a stick, I randomly did a yelp search for gyms in the area and found Jungle Fitness. I was amazed to see all the transformations that others had gone through and I knew that this was it. This was the answer.I love Jungle Fitness. Plain and simple. There is no other gym like it. Ive tried going to 24 hour, ballys total, LA fitness and even the UCI Arc but none of them have what Jungle Fitness offers. Heres a quick rundown of why Jungle Fitness OC BETTER THAN eerrrbody else.1. Personal Training: No matter how many times I watched work out videos online for technique, tips, methods and etc., I never was able to replicate them correctly in the gym. Not having something there to correct you on your really hinders your growth and slows down your pace for success. The reason why I love Jungle Fitness is because all the trainers here are EXTREMELY knowledgeable about everything. Health, cardio, muscle building, body weight loss, diet, philosophy, EVERYTHING. They know what theyre talking about and they tailor their workout for YOU. CUSTOM MADE. Ive never experienced that before in another gym. They pay attention to every detail of my workout and give me so much great information about my form, technique and everything else in between. Ive learned more here in 3 months than I have in all the previous years reading from online bodybuilding articles and from friends.2. Environment: Jungle Gym is an amazing place to work out at. I never feel out of place here. Everyone is extremely friendly and so supportive. I actually know almost every other person here that trains with me. Its a great system of support. It feels like a family and no one is judging each other. All I ever hear are compliments, words of encouragements, and loud high-fives.3. Fun: Dont get me wrong, the workouts here are beyond intense. Ive never been worked so hard to my limit before in my life. By the end of the workouts, my body is physically destroyed. I can barely stand on leg days. Despite all this, the best part of coming here and working out is that Im always having a great time. The trainers are always cracking jokes with us and making sure were having a good time. The workout routines are also always changed around so you never get bored. Before you know it, the hour is over and your ready for that post-workout protein shake.If health and fitness is as a priority to you as it is to me, then I highly recommend personal training with Jungle Fitness. If youre not sure whether its for you, SUCK IT UP. This is for your health and your health should be one of your TOP priorities. After two babies, I realized I needed some serious help getting back into shape and was referred to Qoni and Jungle Fitness by a friend. I had tried personal training at 24 fitness and wasnt really happy with the experience or the hefty price.JF is a hard core trainers gym - its not open to the general public so you cant just walk in and workout. But thats a good thing because that means you dont have to wait around for gym equipment to free up so you can get the most of your workout. They train a lot of athletes but they have plenty of regular folk customers working out too. I definitely felt very comfortable there so dont worry, its not an intimidating place.They have several certified trainers that you can work with - I recommend Qoni because I have had the most experience with him. But all the trainers seem really good and knowledgeable. I always learn something new about nutrition or form or technique every time I go. Plus the trainers take their time, they dont rush you or take 10 minutes out of your workout time doing paperwork or measuring you (unlike 24 HR). You get your time and moneys worth here.But I think what I like most about the JF set up is that you NEVER do the same routine. As someone who gets easily bored this is great. The workouts are hard but they do a lot of interesting exercises that you wont find at other gyms. Wait till you do the plow and rope exercise ;) You will probably be working out with two other clients at the same time. Its actually a good thing because you can motivate each other and have a little bit of a breather between all the exercises! Even though you may be training with another client, Qoni will totally tailor it for your body, so you wont be necessarily be doing the same weight or exercise as the others in your training group.The price is very reasonable too - if you buy in 8 session bundles - its super reasonable, less than half of what I paid at 24 Hour. (not sure if this package applies to all the trainers though).Just wish I had more babysitter time so I could come in more! I think they also offer cross fit and boot camp too - havent tried it yet but it looks pretty intense.

The most hardcore gym I have ever been to but yet, still has a real family feel to it. The personal training team here is the best in Orange County. Sam, Jesse, Qoni, Jon, Bryan, and Zurie are all awesome. Sam is a straight up beast and looks pretty scary at first glance, but is really nice and instructive when you workout with him. Zurie, fresh off his first fitness model contest really knows his stuff and Im pretty sure his laugh can cure cancer. Qoni, the most experienced trainer there. Hes really encouraging and pushes you. Bryan played football at Cal behind Marshawn Lynch. What a beast. Hes very performance based and his workouts have challenged my muscles that I didnt even know I had. Jesse killed my core when I worked out with him. Jon is the most hardcore trainer of all. His workouts are killer, and will give you guaranteed gains.I love Jungle Fitness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!Eat. Train. Breathe. Repeat.
