I remember when we just move here about four years ago, it was especially difficult to catch up with the reading standards here. My younger son was in kindergarten back then. He just learned three letter words like cat, sun, man, etc. I picked a few exercises from Google and other sites, a list of sight words, etc., but they failed to deliver the results I was looking for. Then, one of my friends recommended Kumon, and the difference it brought to their vocabulary, writing skills, etc. More importantly, the confidence it gave them is beyond what words can explain.I wanted them to also work on Math, even though they have always been good at it in order to bring some discipline. This improved their accuracy when it came to working with numbers.Today, both my boys are three grades above their grade level and not only are they doing well at Kumon, but also at their school. The teachers have always complimented their Reading and Math skills during every conference.Finally, the badges that Issaquah Highlands provides (which is unique to Highlands only, the other Kumon centers do not provide,) students with, apart from the other tiny goodies make a child feel so proud. Its nice to see them take pride in their work.As a mother, I would definitely recommend Kumon to every parent if they really want their kids to have an edge over others.

During the pandemic, Kumon at Issaquah Highlands has really helped our son thrive and grow. The online classes help him a lot to be engaged and has built a daily routine. We initially started with reading and have now enrolled him in Math also. Thanks to Cindy and the Kumon staff at Issaquah Highlands!
