I go here and it is amazing; all of the teachers are wonderful and very kind. They have raised many of generations of amazing dancers! If you are interested in being a part of an awesome recreational dance school this is the place to be !

There are no words. Tonight, our daughter, a Senior in High School danced her last Dance in this studio. For 12 years a student and 3 years as an Assistant she has been taught to dance, to respect and so much more. Diane, and her staff are an enigma in Kansas City and held in the highest regard but other Studios. Truly, Michael Jackson rehearsals were held there. Yes, that Michael. None better than DSOD.

The BEST studio. They treat my daughter and every child that walks in the door as a special family member. They take the time to make everyone feel loved and teach more than just dance.

This is an amazing dance studio, they are great with everyone and the girls do fantastic dancing. Great teachers, couldnt have asked for better. If you have your daughter dance anywhere but DSOD, you are doing it all wrong.

Ive been dancing here for nine years and its amazing! The teachers are super nice and they understand if you mess up. They teach tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, Pointe, and more. The dances that they teach are appropriate and so are the costumes. The recitals are the best. They have one every year in May at the Kansas City Music Hall. If you are considering signing you or your child up, do it! Its defenetly worth the money!

Kids love it. Great focus on doing the best you can.
