My kids loved it here. Upon leaving my son was completely ready for kindergarten. His kindergarten teacher was truly impressed by his level of mastery. He was definitely prepared for school.

Ms. Tomlin is a dedicated, caring, enthusiastic person. She cares about everything and everyone that has some type of involvement with her facility. This isn’t a daycare that just watches your kids, it’s a learning experience that invest in your child’s future.

Both of my potty trained children peed themselves due to lack of attention. On another occasion my children told me they did not get a drink all day and were so thirsty. I have taken them out of daycare and requested my deposit back and was told it was in the contract I signed that I cannot have the deposit back without two weeks notice. I asked for the copy of my signed contract to confirm and was polite about My inquiry. I was told last week I would be sent my signed contract and this week I am now receiving no response from miss Tomlin at all. If you need quick cheap care they will accept you but if you are looking for quality and professional care I would not recommend going here.

My daughter attended Tomlin Academy from 2 y.o. until kindergarten. I couldnt be happier with the education provided to her there. By time she went to elementary school she was reading! Counting in spanish and more. Even now being in 1st grade she talks how she misses the school and Ms. Tomlin. My daughter was nervous her first day of kindergarten. Ms Tomlin gave her a surprise visit a lunch to ease her nerves. Thats someone who truly cares about her scholars. I cant wait to send my son here.

I just love this place. My children go there off and on. I wouldn’t send them any other place. Ms.Tomlin knows all of her babies as she would say. So I trust her with my babies. She is all about the babies

The atmosphere is incredibly unprofessional, and the founder, Miss Tomlin, is too busy to care if teacher needs are met. I worked there for a very short amount of time and in that whole time I had no training, in addition to teacher/kid ratios always being off, and not being given the opportunity to do what I was hired to do. They also accept kids who are obviously sick so they infect other kids and the teachers.Heaven forbid something happens to your kid, because they dont know their own students last names, and are missing important (ie, emergency contact and so forth) information on the kids, so even if they knew the kids whole name, they might be missing the paperwork. Nothing has been digitized and the founder had (when I was there) no intention of moving that way in the foreseeable future. The place is a nice idea, but nothing gets done around there.

Tomlin Academy is a great place for kids to learn all the fundamentals before kindergarten.

One of the best establishments I’ve worked at. The kids are always put first and are well taken care of at all times. The people who work here are so nice and are always willing to work together to get things done.

My nieces go to Tomlin Academy and they are very happy, learning new things every day. Is a very unique school since they have the Spanish immersion program, which really helps in the development of the kids. It has a good environment and teachers. I would definitely recommend it!

My daughter wakes up excited to come to school everyday! They make learning fun for the kids. I’ve seen 1st hand 3-4 year olds count to 100! Learn Spanish! Sign language and bible scriptures. It’s very diverse group of staff and children. Definitely a diamond in the rough.

Children are introduced to multi-cultural educational experiences and are provided a safe, caring, and loving environment. Edited: Conversed with the Owner & she seemed to genuinely want to provide the best for her kids. The teachers are all nice people & the classrooms are nice & spacious for your kids to run around & be kids. Uniforms are the only downside. Speak with Ms. Tomlin if you have any ideas, comments or concerns.

The moment my girls started attending Tomlin Academy I saw a change in their behavior, they went from throwing tantrums everyday in previous day cares to maybe 1 a week at Tomlin to not having any! They enjoyed going to school working on all the activities that occupied their little minds not to mention over talking one another just to tell me what they did in class! Ms. Tomlin and her staff definitely show how much they care for their students and appreciation for the parents.Carolyn

I love working for this establishment. The owner and director are very good with making sure the kids are well cared for. She is very open to new ideas to make the building and the children better. If my children were young enough I would have them there with me. Overall this is a very good employer.

Tomlin academy is by far the most amazing center Ive ever enrolled my children into!! Amazing staff and amazing curriculum. If it were only possible to give ZERO! Typical Bait And Switch. The “service/perks” she “baits” she actually doesn’t offer. If I’m paying for a service ($600 To $750) a month I expect it to be professional, and considerate!!!!This Woman Is VERY Unprofessional!!! Ever heard the phrase “Common Sense isn’t common”?? Very last minute (2 day notice for school pictures). Ummmm requesting we spend $50 for ONE uniform piece two days before school started. Saying she would provide blankets to children but she didn’t and they had to cover up with coats or nothing at all. Not to mention blankets came 12 days after she said she would provide them!! I have a long list of ridiculousness within 5 months. High turnover rate as well**Miss A is Great**

My son went there for a few months. Staff doesnt care about kids. Only a few staff members were caring. Mrs. Valerie was very kind and Mrs. Brianna was a superstar. Always went out of her way to please parents and ensure the safety and wellbeing of my son. Sad to see her leave. Immediately removed my child once Mrs. Brianna left the building. She was the best asset to the school.

Dropping your child off at school/daycare early in the morning is never fun, especially if they are screaming they dont want to be there. As a parent its heart breaking. Finding the perfect school / daycare seemed like it would never happen. Either it was too expensive, or not clean, or no structure. Then I found Tomlin Academy and it was the answer to my prayers! My daughter is HAPPY when I drop her off and pick her up. They have every thing I was looking for and more. I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend this academy! And to top it all off its very affordable.

Loooooooove the JCC! Its clean, the staff are super friendly, they have towel service and shampoo in the showers, lockers that you just use your gym card as a key, and there is always someone cleaning the locker rooms. My only complaints would be that the headphone jack on almost every single machine is messed up and the sound is crackly. But thats a pretty minor beef. Overall, this place is pretty sweet!

This place does not provide the quality it so calls prides itself on. Its a complete free for all for the kids. The teachers have absolutely no control over the kids. My son has been there for 2 years and has had at least 8 different teachers do to lack of staff and staff not staying due to several internal issues. We had been told several lies. The only thing they are concerned about is payments and covering up their issues. My son has not learned anything but bad habits from this place. I WOULDNT recommend this place if you are looking for a great environment where they are really being taught.

My son went to this childcare for all of 2 weeks and I pulled him out definitely would not recommend this place the first day I went to pick my child up I could not locate him , he ended up being in the gym with several other children the lady’s who were supposed to be incharge of him did not even know who he was or what his name was the place is filled with Spanish women who barely talk English and just over all a very dis functional facility they let ppl come in and pick up children as they please I never once was asked for I’d or for my name to confirm I’m who was supposed to be picking child up being that his teachers had no idea who he was and when the owner ms tomlin found out I was taking my child out she stopped me while leaving the building as she sat in her car on her cellphone and asked me why I hadnt reached out to her very unprofessional and she’s never even there to manage how her business is being ran not to mention my child got really sick while being there ! Don’t take your children there if you care about there wellbeing and actually want them being educated through out the day

This is the real deal...I had a good relationship with the teachers here and tried to build one with the owner... But all I can say is they are over worked meaning too many children in one class and not enough teachers a safety hazard... Teachers cant teach ur child cause they dont have help with them out of ratio 1 to 4 is by the book last week took my daughter out... It was already 8 in the class me bringing in my baby made 9 to one teacher? No... Enough is enough...Child always seemed to be hungry and thirsty @ pick up time...so I suggest you do ur homework be for leaving ur babies here unless u simply dont care... P. S. Mrs Tomlin go back where u started and replace ur looks for some good customer skills... N dont try to bad mouth me Im leaving the first review on her for a reason...i had no problem til I came to drop off for the second time and this happened I refuse to allow my baby to be a statistic in ur quote on quote... Loving hands... Peace and hair grease..Im out😂😂😂 I had a tour date set up for Friday @1...upon arrival I was greeted by Mrs Valerie very very nice lady... it was a great tour and a chance to let my daughter explore... Im not comfortable with daycare centers they do alot of fronting and if u know me u know I dont play about my kids ...but this one changed my heart and mind...i left in tears happy she can be fed, taught, safe, cared for and loved away from home...my daughter is enrolled and will be starting in the next day or so... Will keep u posted on this comment... But for now...its a great and we were and are pleased with the introduction. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
