Honestly you have to have a true love for children. I love this place! Sometimes the employees forget that we all were once children. Also, to be happy in whatever state youre in because youre here for a reason.

Horrible bus company

How this company has a 3.7 review rating is beyond me. They are consistently unprofessional in their demeanor towards children, can not schedule drivers for very simple extracurricular routes, and have seemingly quit their jobs after they lost their contract with KCMSD, which reminds me... they are so bad at their jobs that they LOST THEIR CONTRACT WITH THE KANSAS CITY MISSOURI SCHOOL DISTRICT!

Horrible, disorganized company. I am in disbelief that Kansas City Public Schools would contract this company to be responsible for getting our children to school everyday. My kids have waited outside on numerous occassions for over 45 minutes just for the bus driver to never show. Pitiful company that owes the kids who RELY on First Student to get them to school every day, much much better. Really hope they step up their game because if this is continuing next school year we are going to make SURE something is really done about it!!!!

Great management! Professional and quick to respond. Strong emphasis on safety for children, riders and the staff. The staff seems confident and trained. The busses are clean. Keep up the good management.

I have been having trouble with route2 that supposed to pick my kidd up at 7:46am. I send them to the stop at 7:30 as I was informed in January after 3 instances of the bus not showing up. It was never communicated to myself or my kids that the pick up time had changed. I am concerned as we are having such a cold winter and they are at the stop for such a longtime with no bus showing up for them. Please what are we supposed to do? I have to pay for rides for them to be taken to school when their bus doesnt show up or comes early or late. Whatever the case may be. Route 2 to Troost Elementary school

Bus driver for 600 almost hit me with her bus. She’s extremely rude and doesn’t like her job so she treats the children anyway. I will be at this location today to speak with a site supervisor this is not the first time this bus driver has been rude or disrespectful.

Nice Job. Sometimes the children can be unruly. But with expierence you will come to understand child psychology. Good pay and if you want it plenty of hours. Come check out First Student of Kansas City.

Work hard at providing safe transportation for students!

The bus do pick up my neighbors daughter half of the time on the Conner of 26 Lawndale going to North East Middle. The is so sad

The bus neglects to pick my daughter up on a regular basis. When I call, staff tells me their system shows that the bus came and dismisses me, argues with me and hangs up on me when I tell them I watched her stand and wait.

I got my CDL stay a few months and left. That place need real managers and employees its a huge mess.

My son a kindergartener was assaulted on his bus before Christmas by his bus driver Ive asked first student several times to release the footage they have not done so I plan to prosecute all envolved not once has first student reached back out to me or my sons principal after this happened!
