You hope youll never need to use this skill but if you do youll be glad you have it. I am very happy with the instruction that I was shown during my office certification. When you are shown a video of how to perform CPR it really doesnt do the trick. Our instructor Robert did an amazing job. He simplified everything so that we could easily understand and more importantly REMEMBER what to do if we ever need to utilize our new skill. I will definitely be looking into other classes that I can take!

Needed CPR/AED/First Aid as soon as I could they got me into a class right away. It was actually very fun and interactive and not your typically boring and falling asleep type classes which was really good and it didnt feel very long it took hours and how long it needed to be but they made it to where you werent watching time as you progressed through different topics and slides. I would highly recommend this program to anyone on any occasion. Its simple and understandable. I couldnt have gone to a better place!

This was the best CPR class I’ve taken! Being a former teacher and now personal trainer, I’ve had to take it a lot. Robert explained and demonstrated the necessary skills as well as shared real life examples. He made the class interesting and entertaining. We had plenty of hands on time as well performing a real life scenario. I will recommend this class to anyone needing to be certified. It was very affordable as well! Awesome job GEMS :)

These guys are amazing, the service that they provide to events and local organizations is well beyond what you will get out of similar companies. Andria was a great instructor. She was very knowledgable and hands-on. I have been taking CPR classes for a while, and this is the first time that I left feeling as though I would remember what I was taught. I actually feel confident to perform CPR. Online registration was easy, and the cost of $35 is well worth it.

Hands down the funniest and most entertaining CPR/AED class I have ever taken in 17 years of being in the fitness industry (=9 different CPR cert classes I’ve taken from East Coast to West)...which says a lot for a CPR class! Instructor was not only hilarious, but was very passionate about what and how he taught and made it very applicable-even to our city! You could also tell the people that worked there all enjoyed their jobs and each other and that makes all the difference for a business. You wouldn’t think that when you officially arrive at the place, don’t be fooled by the appearance and location of the building-it’s the heart and people that work there that matter. I was very surprised and will def be going back for any continuing certs.

This has been the most interactive CPR class I have ever attended. The instructor was very friendly and engaging. He made sure that all of our questions were answered. I would definitely return in he future to renew my certification.

Robert is the Bear Grylls of CPR + First Aid Trainers. Ive had CPR + First Aid Training many times, and this was BY FAR the best. It was super hands-on, real-world prep. I walked away feeling encouraged and empowered to truly save a life. (In the past, trainings have left me feeling overwhelmed and unlikely to be able to really help someone in an emergency.) Roberts passion and experience kept me at full attention throughout the course, and even brought me to tears of laughter as he shared some of his stories related to using the skills he was teaching us. So, SO good!!!

Robert Hoey is an awesome!,Straight to the point, and a super informative kind of instructor. Very hands on. And made class fun. Hes pretty funny too. Definetly will be taking his class again. And not only do they have CPR,SAD, and First Aid classes, but they also have many other kind of classes as well to offer. Like wilderness survival and active shooter awareness. Really enjoyed it all in all.

I have taken many CPR classes before and this one was by for the most informative and engaging one I have attended. The instructor was very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. If you need a CPR/FIRST AID certification, this is the place to do it.

The class was very specific with instruction and procedure in regards to CPR and AED. Great hands on instruction. The instructor was very knowledgeable in first aid and helped you understand why certain procedures were in place. He also taught you to think outside the box when the situation was called for. I highly recommend this class.

A great course for learning basic wilderness first aid techniques. I enjoyed having several experts on the teaching Roster to represent different vantage points from varied medical backgrounds.

Its an extremely efficient and effective way to get certified. They bring together a wide range of EMT backgrounds and experiences to help you learn a variety of life saving skills.

I can not do justice to describe how extremely knowledgable and experienced Robert was. He helped me dial in my understanding of threats and what rescues would look like specific to my work environment. Best short bit of training I have ever had.

Exceptional Trainer! Excellent Course!Well worth the time and money!Throughout the training, I had A LOT OF QUESTIONS! Some were stupid due to fears and past experiences of shock, while others were more complex and geared toward specialized situations. Yet, all of them were answered effectively with the use of mannequins, other willing victims (class participants) or illustrations on the board.The course involved tons of repetitive hands on instruction to the point that I felt absolutely confident in taking the lead when pairing up to administer a life saving skill on a dummy, or simply respond aloud to questions.Im not only grateful for the instructor, Robert Hoey; aka Captain, but also for my awesomely accommodating classmates! Nobody acted disgusted or irritated by my overzealous need to get my concerns addressed, (not even my teen age daughter who attended the course with me and was late to a party as a result). Thats how engaging and impressive the course was!!!Many of the skills we learned involving first aid were so Incredibly easy and time-saving that most of us sat there dumbfounded about the simplicity of them! Definitely nothing like the complex bs knots and splints I tried to learn before.Despite my overall confidence in what I gained from this course, I have NO hopes that someone will befall trauma or medical emergency, but if they do, I trust that the days of shock and bewilderment once crippling my ability to help will be a thing of the past.Sincerely,~ Linnea :)

I have taken several CPR and First Aid classes over the years but Robert Hoey by far teaches the best one. I am a firm believer that everyone should get CPR and First Aid training and I also believe you should get your training through Robert Hoey.

I completed AED-CPR and WFA here. This is certainly not a back-burner, cookie-cutter course. Robert, Andria, and the other instructors did an incredible job in the classroom, lab, and field settings. I learned more than I ever could have imagined. Data, intel, knowledge!

Great class learned many different ways to save a life with a great approach a very useful class. I think everyone could use this clas just for the knowledge alone!
