Being a truck driver Is one of the best career choices I ever made and 160 Driving Academy is the best choice I made, Junie was amazing and answered all my questions and help me throughout the time I was at school. All the instructors at the yard were friendly and knowledgeable. I am so happy I pass my CDL license that I am sending my son to 160 Driving Academy so he can get is licenses too.Thank You again for all your help.

Great school to guide you through your the process of getting your CDL Class A. Not an all encompassing truck driving course, but theyre not advertised as such. Would be great if they had more trucks on hand for students. All in all good school with great teachers.

The experience i had was great from start to finish. The classroom time with Junie and Shayna for the first week was relaxed, with a great learning atmosphere. When I got to the yard, Kim and Robert really did a great job of showing all skills. All the staff at the yard are very in depth on the pretrip, as long as you are able to learn and listen you will pass with flying colors.

Professional StaffThe office personnel and instructors at this driving institution went above and beyond to make sure that my driving experience was smooth and professional. I highly recommend that anybody who is thinking about moving into the driving field attend this academy.

No gimmicks, Shayna is just amazing. She works with everyone. I am extremely happy with how things went. The yard was great small to begin with but driving on dirt challenged you as a driver for drifting. The new yard great, I honestly will recommend this school to everyone who ask. I was in 160 and it was a great place to learn how to drive a truck and get a Class A CDL.The yard is big and was great with alot of trucks to drive would say it is the best price in las vegas to.

I came from Amazon career services and was happy to see many familiar faces from work. They helped me get my Class A and with a lot of patience :P The instructors are tight, chauncy, rob, shiela, ivan, tony, mike, joe,brian,kim, all of them are fantastic human beings.

They never gave up on me and I was able to get my CDL even though it took me a little longer due to personal issues.

Really good school to go to everything I learned in class was on my test at the DMV . Carlton was a “GRATE” teacher he was easy to get in contact with and very helpful with all the questions that I had. I would Recommend the school to anyone that is trying to get their CDL.

Such a bad costumer service, they only count with one truck manual, or that’s what they told my employee. The trainer doesn’t communicate at all with his students and put hours on the system when they don’t even teach him for 2 hours. I’m very disappointed and tired of trying to contact them and getting told to call different numbers just for them not to tell me what’s going on.

I must say I am completely satisfied for the great staff and help 160 driving gave me. Shayna is the greatest. She did everything in her power to get my test done and showed genuine concern during this whole process. Thank you Shayna. The instructors rob, tony, Kim, Brian ,CP, Sheila, and Nigel are great they all gave me sound advice to get me through this process. I would definitely recommend 160 if you want the best education to get your cdl.

I am very happy with the instruction that 160 Driving Academy has provided me with. I passed the DMV tests with ease, after the personalized attention that the instructors had prepared me with. The instructors are very knowledgeable, and patient. Shayna at the office was very helpful in getting me a sponsorship to attend school without any out of pocket expense. I was very apprehensive about changing careers after being laid off due to Covid-19, but Shayna put my mind at ease, and led me through the process. She assured me that 160 will always be there for you, throughout your career. Thank you!

Great experience real helpful staff. The only thing I did disagree with, if you cash paid the wait time with the DMV were so long in between test dates. If you failed you could easily have to recertify all over again and even pay out of your own pocket if you run out of hours.

From the moment that I stepped inside Shaynas office she already walked me through all the steps that I needed to take to make my whole experience as easy as it could be. All the instructors are very friendly and they taught me everything that I need to know to succeed in the way that is easy for me to understand. In class was long, but it was very useful information. I started at their old yard which was very small, since they have moved to an bigger yard with more than enough space so now there’s nothing negative I could say about the academy.

Good school learned what I needed to get my CDL

I did my work and I passed all DMV exams on the first try. I asked questions I memorized everything. I practiced and practiced and practiced. By 160 hours I was ready and I passed. This review is long overdue! Truckers Life!I’ve had a CDL in the past, and loved driving. I was a school bus driver. I relinquished my CDL’s being cheap! However, after spending 10 years in Las Vegas and going through a pandemic....it was only after talking to Shayna Pearson at 160 Driving Academy that I now knew....it was time to lace up my boots sort of speak and get my CDL’s again. 160 Driving Academy has helped me achieve a level of confidence with my driving that I didn’t have before.I want to Thank Shayna and the whole 160 institution for giving me this new honor!

Shayna welcomed me with open arms and helped me start my career she was honest about everything shes the best!

Just witnessed one of their trucks making a UTurn on Boulder just south of Barrett nearly causing a 4 car accident along with a truck... anyone knowing anything about u-turns in a truck knows this is extremely dangerous and even more so when a student does it. I would be EXTREMELY cautious about attending this school to get my CDL.
