In 2010, outside the theater for The Karate Kid, my parents and I came across a booth trying to get people to join Victory. I was being bullied at school and my mom said we were going to sign up. For five years, under Mr. Hopkins I learned respect, honesty, loyalty, discipline and how to defend myself. I eventually became a second degree black belt. I thank Victory for the time I spent there. Now at 17, if I ever need to defend myself I know how to.

My 7 and 8 year old daughters look forward to this class every day. I love how engaged the leaders are, the values, discipline and confidence that they instill in them is immeasurable. This is such a great investment in your child and well worth it. Theyre getting a great work out and all while having fun v

Victory Martial Arts is a great taekwondo school for young children, teens and adults. Ive been taking the class with my son for the month of May and I notice a huge difference in his strength, endurance and overall attitude. Im also seeing improvement in my upper body strength and agility. Well worth the investment! I love it here!

We signed up on a whim and the second we entered the building we were treated like family! My daughter cant wait to go to class every week! This is the best decision we have made. Thanks for being AWESOME!!

I love it here, the people are very professional and kind. They make you feel like family and Mr. Hopkins has really helped my child find his purpose in life, and to be a better person. Now my kid is not a hundred percent by any means but Mr. Hopkins really tries to instill values every class.

I absolutely love this place! We have been a part of this school since May 2018. Mr Hopkins is such an amazing instructor, he’s firm, motivating, committed to his students and compassionate. My son has grown so much physically and mentally and his behavior is a reflection of this program! I cannot imagine not being a part of this amazing Victory community.

My son Quinn just started at Victory and loves it! Aside from it being an awesome workout, they learn principles like discipline and obedience to help them just be better people. I love how everyone immediately made him feel welcome! Classes have many kids and the instructors really put forth the effort to make all the kids feel acknowledged . And...they know their names! My son is quickly showing and making positive changes.

We enrolled our daughter at the end of summer to help with her confidence and self-esteem. Since she began, she has blossomed as a person, and it is even reflected in how she perceives school. She no longer struggles with doing homework(which used to be a daily battle) and she also is excited to do her chores. A huge disappointment the lady in the front is so very rude I would never take my kids there again

My 5 year old and almost 4 year old have been coming here for a year now. My three year old has liked it from the start but my 3 year old, well hes 3 so his attention span is short...it has amazed me to see his growth in this last year. He has good days and bad but at least he stays on the mat now! These instructors never cease to amaze me...when Ive reached my point where I just wanna snatch him up and leave, they show me that he can do it! I love this school and the instructors at this location. My kids just started two months ago and I have been experiencing some changes in them. They get really pumped and practice everyday before class. They have become more motivated, more confident in themselves. The one thing I truly love is that all the parents partake in lessons as well and motivate all the students. Another thing is we are represented as a TEAM. I recommend anyone who has kids or adults who wants a good work and self improve themselves to come and join.

Our two boys (ages 7 & 9) have attended classes here for the past 3 years and are getting ready to sign up for 3 more. Mr. Hopkins is an amazing instructor; he is energetic and passionate, and invests a significant amount of time into bettering the lives of those he teaches. In Las Vegas you can practically find a martial arts school on every corner, but Victory is so much more than just a martial arts school. They have written on their door that they are a School of Life and this is absolutely true. Throughout their program they focus on developing life skills (Honesty, Belief, Discipline, Self-Esteem, Respect, Communication) and not just as talking points. They really take the time to explain to the kids what these skills mean and how to implement them in order to have a more fulfilling, successful life. If you have ever considered martial arts (and even if you havent) joining Victory Martial Arts Tenaya will be one of the best decisions you will ever make.

Victory is more then a school it is a family. The instructors are the best. Some people think that is it so expensive but unlike a community center karate schools you get to pick and choose your schedule and if you wanted to go for five days in a row do it. How many schools do you know that can do that. They also have family rates. When I first started I figured out with my three children I was paying just as much per class as I would have been at a community center class. The program is so much more the kicking and punching it is learning life skills and confidence.

My kids have grown so much since coming to this location. The staff is amazing, and they are always pleasant to speak with. This school teaches my kids discipline and responsibility! I couldnt have imaged how much this school has changed my children for the best!

This is one of the best schools in Las Vegas. Mr. Hopkins is an excellent instructor and leads a team of great instructors. Ms. Carter takes care of us all and we are so grateful to have her. My grandchildren are learning so much more than Tae Kwon Do -- they are learning life skills that will follow them the rest of their lives. My daughter has also decided to join and it has made such a difference in her little family. I cannot say enough good things about Victory -- I promise you that you will not be disappointed!

UPDATE on 1.16.2020: We signed up using a Groupon 5 1/2 years ago and are fully invested. The staff and instructors really do care about you as people, it is far more than just a business. They understand that they are investing into your physical and mental health. My three sons and I are all students, and we are stronger and more confident because of the their investment into our lives.You will likely see results immediately. This is a sport, though, that requires perseverance and commitment. That’s when you really see the fruit of your labor. I am not worried about my boys or myself being able to defend ourselves if need be. Even more than the physical fitness, the mental gains are huge!.....If I could give Victory Tenaya more than five stars, I would. We have been going here for almost three years. I have seen a huge improvement in skill, self discipline, and confidence of all three of my boys as well as myself. The instructors truly care about the betterment of every student and helping you achieve success. Reading some of the negative reviews, I will say that what we have accomplished over these years is worth every last penny. You cannot put a price on strength, confidence, and self discipline. Once initial investment is made, you are set for a while and learn to budget for future purchases. My kids now ask for martial arts gear instead of electronic devices as gifts. Ill take it!

Our children have benefited from Victory from self esteem, defense, pride in themselves, belief, courage, responsibility and good behavior.

This place is a total scam. The fees $350 monthly when I went, did not include equipment or uniforms. I spent an additional $1500 the first month just trying to get equiped for classes and test for belts...which are an additional $50 a month plus the price of the belt. Ms. Carterwill never give you a straight answer about prices and would pressure me to buy things that would be on sale the next month. I always felt like I was getting ripped off. Most of the classes I attended were taught by senior students not Ms. Carter or Mr. Hopkins. Every week there was another piece of equipent or activity that I needed to pay for. I canceled my membership more than a year ago, and I still keep getting emails and calls from them.

My 2 kids attend this school. I really like this school. The instructors, (Mr. Hopkins in particular), are very good with the kids. In addition to learning TKD, (Tae Kwon Do), they teach weapons as a part of the curriculum, they teach/reinforce good values, they remember our names, and they demonstrate real interest in your kids development/progress.This place is not just for kids, adults attend class as well. The instructors do well in shifting gears when changing from teaching kids, to teaching adults.

My daughter and I do it together first she started then I started 2 weeks later even with my injuries 2 ruptured and 1 herniated disks knee ligament injuries and swollen ankles and hair line fracture in foot I DO IT NOW I PUSH THREW BECAUSE I LOVE THE INSTRUCTORS AND THE LOVELY LADIES THAT WORK UP FRONT ITS GOOD EXERCISE AND DISCIPLINE MY DAUGHTER DOES SO WELL AND SUCH A CHANGE IN HER AND HER BEHAVIOR IS UNDESCRIABLE WE ARE A VERY DEDICATED TO THE SPORT TAEWKONDO MY HUSBAND WITH HIS INJURIES ON. 2KNEES going to try THERE ARE ALIT OF FAMILYS THAT DO IT . IT IS A VERY NICE AND FAMILY OREINTANTED THING TO DO AS A FAMILY IT IS THE BEST THING FOR OUR FAMILY WE ARE VERY INDEBTED TO THE VICTORY FAMILY FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE FOR OUR FAMILY
