My daughter has been wanting to do martial arts for a while and I finally signed her up. It mattered to me where she went because I wanted to know that the instructors would also be good examples and leaders for my daughter. I wanted her to feel safe and excited to go each day and learn, and thats exactly what Unity has given us. The Johnsons are amazing and create such a safe and supportive environment for people of all ages to learn in. I appreciate that they really make the kids earn their belts and they enforce good behavior there, and at home. My daughter loves going. She never complains. Unity for Life!!!

My daughter started Taekwondo at this dojo in April and is excelling! The staff is family oriented and pushes the students to be their best. They also include the families so that the students can have support from their family and community. They also teach the students to help their community by volunteering or setting up drives.

My son started taking classes here at the end of February. We searched and visited other martial arts studios around the valley but wasnt impressed with more than one reason. I used to do martial arts and knew what I was looking for in a studio for him. Our time here at Unity has been a wonderful experience and I know Ive made the best decision for my son to be a part of this martial arts family. He loves going, looks forward to it and has yet to miss a class because of the passion he has for Tae Kwon Do. That passion came from having knowledgeable, fun, enthusiastic instructors. Im very impressed with Unity Martial Arts and love that they do so many different things with the kids. They teach more than just self defense by doing community services such as book drives for the underprivileged. All kids should be taking part in some form of community service and I do believe that is important for them to be a part of.My son has always had honor roll grades but I noticed his confidence has had a boost in everything he does these last few months. If youre looking for a great place to sign your children, teens or even yourself up for martial arts, this is a place I would highly recommend. The pricing is very reasonable, especially compared to all of the other studios we looked at too. Thank you, Unity, for all that you do and for creating this martial arts family!

We started bringing our 2 daughters here in the fall of last year because we wanted them to do keep physically active during covid. We tried one other place that we were not happy with. We chose to stay with Unity because they teach the more traditional Taekwondo that we were looking for. We have been happy with our experience here.

This is a great place to send your kids,grandkids or yourself.It is very family oriented.The best instructors,their experience is above and beyond. I am so happy my daughter found this place for my grandson,he goes 4 days aweek and would go 7 if he could.Unity got him from playing video games,and something else to really look forward to.He gets exercise,deciple, integrity, self defense and has met a bunch of nice kids and grown ups that he looks forward to seeing.I also love to go and watch them learn and the family wecome you get just being there.Thank you UNITY and the JOHNSONS for making this a part of our lives now and in the future.Maxine.

Have six family members participating and all feel inspired by the instructors. It’s like a family at unity. Really motivate the young ones (4 and 6) to participate.

During this time with pandemic I noticed that there were some ways that this school was not taking proper precautions. As they do their classes many of the students and trainers were not wearing masks. Also Im pretty sure that they do not sanitize. First off that is unprofessional. According to the governor it is required. Feel free to disagree, but we are to be safe. Also, the way they talked to us was unprofessional.

They are awesome and quite family friendly, my daughter and I both train here prices are reasonable. Mr and Mrs Johnson great at what they do.

I love this place!. :) Its an amazing place to exercise, learn new skills, get confident, get inspired - all sorts. The instructors are fantastic - Mr. & Ms. Johnson are patient, hands on, and great at what they do. Theyll support you and push you to get better everyday. Seriously, would recommend it to anyone...

My kiddos and I needed and wanted to do more. A new challenge, a way to lose some weight, stay active, show them discipline, a way to build confidence in them and myself. We are constantly striving, battling, laughing. It’s made each of us stronger, tested us, shown that you can achieve anything you put your mind to and that giving up is never an option.It couldn’t have happened had there not been caring, compassionate instructors with the knowledge and passion to see their students succeed. Every student is different; has different needs, different goals and learns differently. Unity isn’t about pushing students through, they truly care about their students and it shows. They preach family, they look out for each other, and there’s a sense of belonging.

This was our familys first experience with taekwondo and we are so happy we chose Unity Martial Arts. The instructors are patient and encouraging. The environment fosters ambition and determination without being pushy. And the owners really cultivate a sense of family with their members. They are always happy to let you try out a class to see for yourself why we love this place!

We became part of the Unity Martial Arts family in August 2017. We moved to Las Vegas two weeks prior and were looking for a martial arts school for my oldest daughter. Lucky for us Unity was close to our house. We stopped in and were welcomed warmly by Mrs. Johnson. We watched a few different classes to get a feel for the school and the instructors. Because we had previous martial arts training we knew it was important to pick the right school because it would be a long-term commitment on our end. We chose correctly. Not only is my oldest daughter achieving her dream of becoming a black belt very soon, my other children joined the school and are headed that way too. And I am proud to say that I am a student too pursuing my goal (since I was 11 years old!) of earning a black belt.Unity is special because we are a family. We win and lose together. We celebrate success and overcome defeat as one. It’s a welcoming place. I’ve never been to a martial arts school where people feel comfortable hanging out before and after class. The Johnsons provide a “home away from home” for a lot of people. It’s so important in an increasingly disconnected world. Hard work is expected but we do it with a spirit of fun and humor. Mr. Johnson is an excellent instructor because he balances high expectations with encouraging support. He knows how to get the best out of his students.Unity has made a difference in my life because I know my children are growing in confidence and skills that will last a lifetime. I know I have a community supporting our family. And I know it’s NEVER TOO LATE to pursue a goal if you have the right mentors. People who will help you believe in yourself when it’s hard and will celebrate your accomplishments.If you come to Unity you will be challenged, you will work hard and YOU WILL SUCCEED!

I highly recommend this school. Very knowledgeable instructors.Work very well at explaining to the class and demonstrations.. We been to different TKD schools here and in Thailand and this school is the only one my son enjoys going to. Ill take this school over the ones with the overrated Korean masters any day.

Very Family orientated

Absolutely love this place.We are finishing up our first week with our 8 year old daughter. SHE LOVES IT!!!KIND AND PROFESSIONAL STAFF!!!Only thing we regret is not signing up our daughter sooner.Thank you Unity.

What amazing martial arts school! They respect tradition through forms and have a great family friendly environment.

My family joined Unity Martial Arts Academy about 18 months ago. The instructors are amazing. On top of classes that are held 6 days a week, they are willing to assist the kids with anything they need - whether it is extra help before/after class or talk through challenges with school or friends. My son is about 6 months out from earning his black belt at just 8 years old (once he tests for it). We have seen such a positive shift in the attitude, focus and strength with boy the kids since they started. My family participates in taekwondo, muay thai and tumbling - about 20 hours a week! For all we do, the price is beyond reasonable. I recommend Unity Martial Arts Academy to anyone who will listen.
