Personally i would say my experience wasnt the best. There are many things I could go into detail about but you probably have already seen through other reviews. While some teachers and students were pretty awful. Other students really saved it. The little kids are pretty nice bump into them they wont apologize and be on there way. Why the bathrooms were digusting. And some events were pretty wrong. Like you would have to sell 30 dollars just to get a toy that cost them like 50 cents.Also they would be assembly where you would be switched against people. And lastly some people got monitored more then others like the administrators would pay more attetion to them even though they were mostly harmsless and did nothing.

I can assume based on attending the school for many years, the schools budget is somewhere close to nowhere. Due to the lack of improvement being shown as nothing happening tells me that this charter school isnt the best. Maybe other can say their school is better but until something better happens at the school thats positive I can say that its not the finest school.

Kids love this school

They are handling the covid situation really badly. The teachers claim they know that it is hard for kids to learn virtually and with everything going on. But they still proceed to piling a bunch of confusing assignments on students with an extra three projects due that end of week.. its just too much.. and then the assignments i do good on dont count as much... And then when i get a 68 on a test my B+ goes to a really low D. Please read the other reviews about this school.. Please save your child from this... I come from a strict family where i get everything taken away for a c... and they drop my grades without any proof of assignments that i got a low percentage on. I hate this school...

Two words: Rude staff.

Administration is a JOKE. Every single one of them. Read the other reviews ‘cause no sense in us wasting our breath anymore on this academy, but a huge thank you to everyone else that has gone into detail. We’ve had so many friends leave this campus or the academy overall, and there are NUMEROUS reasons as to why. Let us spare you the grief by making sure you do some in-depth homework through word of mouth about the students, their staff, and especially their administration before you even consider placing your kids in their lottery. Your children will thank you. Our children are so glad we are DONE after this school year!

First year at the Saddle location and couldnt be any happier with the experience. As a transfer from Cactus, I thought my son would have a hard time adapting. He fit right in as the students and teachers gave him a warm welcome! Only negative is the carpool situation.

Completely terrible. Constant dictation. Phones are not allowed during lunch, morning recess, or afternoon recess. The teachers get very mad if you switch their class to another. The school lied about the elevators not working. The students make slip and slides in the bathrooms, and about 1 out of the 5 sinks actually work. There are definitely great teachers, dont get me wrong, but the staff is terrible. There was graffiti in both the bathrooms and the bathroom stalls. There is a giant hole in the cafeteria roof in which rain can leak. Dress code is very confusing and its terrible. Most of the admin is extremely disrespectful. The water fountains dont work and nobody really cares enough to fix them. There is no gym, no lockers, and there is a small cafeteria. The admin are complete hypocrites. They are also not in dress code and use their phones is front of us constantly. Mrs. Obrien is the hallway police, she will full on inspect you if you act suspicious. Overall, please leave, or if you are planning to send your child here, try reconsidering. Been here for 3 years and it hasnt been easy.

The school is fine people are nice but they need to get there fountains fixed

Dress code is completely trash. Even if its 2 degrees outside you have to wear a dress code jacket. (EDIT) They took my jacket mid-winter) They lied about the elevator not working while the admin continues to use it..They hand out citations like candy. Teachers Pat you down sometimes. They question you constantly. If you come you WILL get a citation or an RPC for anything.

I am going to be 100% honest. This is by far the worst school in Las Vegas that I have EVER attended. There are no lockers, no gym, no theatre, and no REAL cafeteria. This school has Nothing to offer. The kids make slip in slides in the bathroom (with their urine), their is a humongous hole in the multipurpose room that leaks on rainy days, and their is constantly graffiti. The admin is just plain awful. They have no clue what they are doing. The dress code policy is just plain idiotic. We aren’t allowed to wear anything with a logo and it HAS to be school color. (The exact shade too) It was raining outside and my friend had on a burgundy coat and was forced to take it off. There is on staff member named, ms.obrien who says she literally owns an entire hallway and will inspect you. She lifted up someone’s hoodie to make sure she was wearing a uniform under. Don’t even get me started on the students. There are many kids at this school who fight, vandalized and bully other students and nothing is done. There is an ACTUAL group of boys who “run” the school and say they are a gang. If you speak up you are targeted and bullied. I do NOT recommend going to this school. It’s not worth the money and the emotional trauma it will cause you. PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD SOMEWHERE ELSE. Do NOT put them through this.

The P.E. teacher claims he wont do anything harmful to a students health but one period he makes them run in circles for an hour straight with no bathrooms or no water. The hallway inspector Mrs. OBrien will sometimes pat you down if you act suspicious and calls students names like Sexy Momma and once called a student Gay. There is no real stage, small field and the cafeteria is small. Other than that teachers like Mrs. Huntley, Mr. Walsh, Mrs. Camargo, and Mrs. Moffat are really nice and will most definitely help you if you ask. Dress code is really strict. You cant wear anything with a logo on it and it has to be school colors. (they have to be the exact shade, too) Once they took a students jacket when it was snowing outside. They dont let you go on your phones and when teachers let you do, they often take them away. One time I was using my phone for research then I dropped it then my teacher (Mrs. Varicchio) confiscated it and brought it to the office although I wasnt doing anything wrong. The admin lied about the elevators not working and the staff are not in dress code and constantly go on their phones. Do NOT send your kids here and consider leaving if you are going to this school currently. Been a student here for 1 year now.-Skyy Estanislao

I dont like the school, so of the teacher here are mean. teachers teaching methods make harder than it needs to be. The sink in the upstairs and downstair bathroom only have one bathroom that works

I go to Doral and it is one of the best school I can ever imagine my teachers are kind and understanding, they help me a lot sure it has its downs but so does every other school in the world I have made great friend, my grades have gotten better its just amazing

This is probably one of the best schools in Nevada! The teachers here are very cool and my math teacher is the best and teaches with a great sense of humor!

This school is quite frankly awful. Some teachers are just extremely disrespectful and rude towards parents and their own students. If you simply ask your peers for a pencil you may get a citation. It is extremely hard to understand why the middle schoolers have assigned seating, they are in middle schoolers. The principals claim they’ll treat them like young adults, then why do they have assigned seats? The ELA teachers are straightforward rude, they often make their students look or feel uncomfortable, such as making them look or feel dumb if they don’t understand something. The teacher aid Mrs. O’Brien claims that you cannot walk in “her hallway,” she also calls her students rude or inappropriate things; such as: Sexy Momma (She called Kamaile Maggio that, because Kamaile was wearing a choker), Gay (She called Luke Wierzbicki that because he was hugging his friend -another boy), and etc. The PE teacher claims he wont do anything to his students that he wouldnt do, he makes his students run one entire period in circles, even if they feel sick or have asthma. He gives his students fairly fun activities. Although with disrespectful teachers, there are some extremely kind ones. The extremely kind teachers are understanding and will not stop to help your child (Mrs.Moffat, Mrs.Camargo, Mrs.Giddens, Mrs.Dellamonica, Mr.Hogan, those are just to name a few of the understanding middle school teachers. In conclusion this school is awful, in my opinion, sending your child to any school other than this campus would be wise.Sincerely,Coco McFrad

Honestly, this year, most of the upper school teachers are eh. Kinda bad, but like only the math, ela, specialist, and a little more are good. They do projects at the last minute. I go here and it kinda sucks

My daughter is attending Pre-K school at Doral Academy Saddle Campus. I would say this is one of the best school I have found in Las Vegas. Their quality of education is beyond my expectation. Great teachers, Mrs. Ciarolla and Miss Brooks truly educate the kids. My daughter is so happy going to school every day with a big smile on her face. Kids seems to have fun on learning things. Pre-K Arts Integrated Program at Doral Academy provides a fantastic foundation for learning both socially and academically that will help kids to succeed in elementary school and beyond. Thank you Doral for loving our kids!

Not the best school......Some of the teachers are ok but the students there are really rude and inappropriate unless you want your kid going to a school where there kids acting like fools and twerking be my geust. But other than that and the stupied rules they have its okish
