Very disappointed with EVANS SCHOOL woman that is checking your temperature to confirm you are good did let me go to class because I don’t have a COVID-19 test doesn’t take in consideration the effort people make to come to school I drove 1 hour to came in traffic, very arrogant lady I told her can I take it now she said no come tomorrow, she doesn’t know the more students the school keep more money the state will give to the school and her job will be secured but the less students stay less money will received later this type of people said ooh I lose my job ,

I’m doing my program at Hollywood High through Evans, and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Mrs. Howard has gone above and beyond to ensure that I’m getting all the help that I need. The staff here and when I went down to Evans has always been friendly and courteous, and have been able to assist me with any questions that I have. Thoroughly impressed!

I am glad to see this school still exist, I attended it back in 1990 and it was amazing back then. Here, I learned my first English words.

The principal and some of the staff from Evans Adult School are horrible. Principal Carl Badeau is extremely rude, arrogant and completely indifferent about any concerns students may have. I now see why some of the teachers and staff are so disrespectful to students. Theyre obviously following the terrible example of the principal. I also see why theres not a lot of students enrolled in this school. Im an English learner and a reading teacher that I had use me as an example of how not to read in English. I felt so humiliated and discourage by this lady. Also, the school parking lady yelled at me and called me disgusting multiple times just because I threw pistachio shells on the ground. She even called the school security to kick me out of the parking lot. I never offended her in anyway, not physically or verbally. Then they falsely accused me of trying to run over someone in the parking lot. I tried talking to the principal about this serious accusation, but he was extremely disrespectful and with a really bad attitude told me he had nothing to discuss with me and walked away. He completely ignored me and left me with the words in my mouth. The principal and staff are truly unethical and treat students like trash. I encourage anyone whos looking for a school to learn English or to get a high school diploma to go somewhere else. You deserve to have a principal that treats you with respect and that actually cares about your education.

I decided to go ahead and finish my high school since ive been out of school for a while i have searched high and low for a decent school that actually cares.... this school is amazing it looks and has a feeling a high school even tho the campus is small its so worth and im glad that i came here. and you only have to come in 2-3 hours out of your day very flexiable.

Evans is a great school the 4 months i was there the teachers never gave up on me and the staffs were very nice but sadly i had to leave due to personal things. Evans was the first school were i felt comfortable beside the other 4 adult schools i been to around LA Hopefully i can go back when school goes back

I liked this school, my fav was the cafè...they would grill you up any sandwich & there would be a great breakfast bar. The people there are very nice & the teachers are very committed & friendly.

I went to get information about the courses they currently offer and I was very satisfied with the help they gave me.

After or during a pandemic it is my first day everyone is doing their best.

Very good place to study, after a few days I came to see if the office was open to take face-to-face classes, this week thank God I was able to register, here the OFFICE SCHEDULES to register English classes, ESL - Monday to Friday from 8 am-11:30 am and in the afternoon Monday through Thursday from 4 pm-6:30pm.

I went at a time that had intensive course five hours a day for three months!It helped me a lot! I left speaking English very well and very fast, but that depends on the ability of each one to learn the language ... they also have classes called ESL that are a little slower but you learn a lot too.
