Bright Horizons at South Fig became a part of our family while our son attended. I cannot thank them enough for caring for our child so deeply, and helping him to grow and learn. The teachers are absolutely phenomenal, super communicative, and love each kiddo for all of their strengths and differences. I felt so safe sending my child here, and he came home happy and exhausted every day! I highly, highly recommend this center and their wonderful community!

My little family of 3 (Mom, Dad, 20-month old daughter) is hanging on by a thread these days (work! pandemic! baby!) and that one thread is also known as Bright Horizons on S. Figueroa. I didn’t know how stress-free childcare could be before we gave Bright Horizons a try, and now I dread the day she ages out (years from now). We’ve been regulars for about 2 months now and love everything about this facility. Brenda (Center Director) and Tiffany (Health and Safety Director) were so patient in helping to get us onboarded, guiding us through all the paperwork, teaching us about all of their COVID-related policies and protocols (couldn’t be safer) and figuring out a plan to keep our daughter safe from allergen exposures (so far, so good!). Teachers Jessica, Luisana and Denise have somehow helped our daughter to grow from a very introverted and attached pandemic baby into a more assertive, independent and confident toddler. The daily updates we get via the app make it so clear to us how loving and attentive the teachers are. We had a nanny before turning to Bright Horizons and maybe it just wasn’t a good fit, but we never felt like we could fully trust her, so we always had to dedicate time and energy toward supervising her. With Bright Horizons, I feel I’m able to just drop off my kid in the AM, and not really have to think about her (worry about her) until it’s time to pick her up; I trust that my daughter is in great hands, having a blast (different activities, books and art projects every day!), and that the daycare will reach me if they need me. I think I’m a great mom, but I know for a fact that if I were to quit my job and become a stay at home mom, my daughter would be worse off. I promise I wasn’t offered/given any incentives to write this review on behalf of the center, I just am that grateful to have found this particular gem of a daycare. I can not say enough good things about this location. The center was impeccably maintained, the communication was clear and constant, and every inch of our daughter was loved. She always had a fun activity and the teachers were supportive and always had updates. We miss our South Fig family!

My son has been at Bright Horizons at Figueroa since he was nine weeks old. I love the open-door policy that allows me to visit him as needed throughout my work day. Everything is new, clean, and state-of-the-art. The teachers are excellent--patient, caring, and fun! The administrative staff is helpful and thoughtful to your needs. It really is starting to feel like a family, even after being open for just a few months. I also love the app that allows me to check-in on my babys schedule each day. I am very confident in this daycare and happy that my son gets to experience such an enriched environment. I love seeing him thrive with his teachers and peers. Highly recommend!

We have brought our 17 month old son to Bright Horizons at South Figueroa since they opened in October. We moved from NYC to LA and this was our first time leaving our son with someone else.The facility is brand new and its complete adapted for the different ages with low shelves, low tables, chairs and cots for nap time. Our son loves to be here! At first we were worried since hes been very clingy but after a month he waived good bye to us in the morning and didnt want to leave at night when we picked him up.He wasnt sleep or nap trained when he started but they had no problem in putting him to sleep and stay asleep for nap time. He also started eating much more solid food and has been much more independent since he started.As we dont speak English at home we have noticed that his English has gotten better than his Swedish. He have learned so many words!We first thought it would be a temporary daycare since we planned on moving out of downtown, but after a few weeks we decided to permanently live in downtown so our son could go to Bright Horizons at South Figueroa every day :)Another thing that I love about this facility is that they have an app where I can follow his day with meals, diapers, naps and performance. A great add on for a worried mom and for grandparents who wants to follow their grandson when they live far away.The teachers are lovable, professional and our son loves them!

We have had a fantastic experience at Bright Horizons. The staff is wonderful, and my son loves his teachers. We love that we get photos and updates throughout the day via an app, and appreciate that they tailor the curriculum to childrens interests. Our 18-month-old enjoys all of the hands-on activities, including painting and science experiments, and the outdoor play area. Wed absolutely recommend Bright Horizons South Figueroa to anyone looking for high-quality childcare.

Our daughter was one of the very first students at Bright Horizons S. Fig. in the preschool class. They were invaluable to us as there are not many options in the DTLA area. We couldnt have asked for a more ideal situation. Every one of the teachers has been wonderful... nurturing, kind, patient and yet focused on bringing up responsible citizens. My daughter loved her teachers Ashley, Carl, and Mayra. The staff was well organized and a pleasure to work with. Tiffany, Sahar, Monique and Brenda always made sure to keep things running smoothly.

Our family had a bit of tough time finding quality daycare for our infant. We started him at an in home daycare (which didnt work out due to safety concerns). We also interviewed nannies, but we really liked the idea of him socializing with other babies. From the moment we walked into Bright Horizons, my husband and I knew it was exactly what we were looking for (safe, clean, modern). Even as an infant, our son has a curriculum (baby version of course) which encourages him to reach his milestones quickly and easily. The children are stimulated in an organized environment helping them develop their senses and I love that he has little friends even at his young age of 7 months. In addition to fun and play time the teachers also do a great job of making sure all children get enough sleep (so they dont get overstimulated). They use safety regulated cribs (firm mattresses, no blankets, etc) behind a transparent wall (we LOVED this feature) and are monitored regularly while they sleep. We were SO worried about childcare (as Im sure every new parent is) and I even thought about quitting my career. I cant tell you how happy we are that we found BH. Our son has so much fun (he smiles when we drop him off and pick him up) - I really cant speak higher of this preschool!

Our 20 months old daughter went to this location for about 4 months before she was transferred to another location that is closer to our home. The facility, staffs and teachers are all great! She has never been to a day care, and it took her a while to detach to us and playing with other kids. The teachers and staffs were very considerate and understanding, it made this whole experience much easier. We would definitely recommend this center to anyone who is looking for a great daycare/preschool.

The staff is incredibly friendly and kind, my infant daughter loves going to see her friends and is always so happy when I pick her up. Infants get plenty of time outside and quality attention. I looked at other daycares but this was the only one I felt comfortable dropping off my daughter for the day.The app helps make it an even better experience.

We love Bright Horizons South Fig! Everyone is so friendly and helpful from the teachers to the administration. They really put a lot of thought and energy into their curriculum even with the littlest students. Knowing my infant daughter was getting such great care really helped smooth my transition going back to work.

My child has attended the toddler program since the facility opened. The facility is extremely clean and staff keeps very detailed records. I feel safe bringing my child here while I am at work.

Our daughter started at Bright Horizons when she was a year old. It was a rough transition for her and for us as anxious first-time parents, but the staff here couldnt have handled it better. Fast forward 6 months later, and our daughter is thriving and truly loves her teachers. We are so lucky that shes had amazing and affectionate teachers like Estefany and Yesenia, who have helped transformed our clingy baby into an independent toddler with an ever-expanding vocabulary. Also, a shout out to Sahar and Tiffany who have hand-held us throughout this process, and with so much professionalism. We are moving our daughter to a daycare much closer to home soon, and were beyond upset about this decision because no other daycare will match up and we will miss this little family.

The staff at BH South Fig has the best folks around. When dedciding on where my wife and I would send our son, we had many reservations - as any parent would. However, after visiting BHSF and interacting with the great teachers and office staff, we just knew that this was the infant care we were looking for. They are positive people and you can tell that they love what they do.

My husband and I looked into every childcare option and ultimately we chose BHSF because it is the best place for our family. My son started in the Infant 2 Classroom when he was 6 1/2 months. I had a very difficult time with the transition and I loved that BHSF let me completely decide when I felt comfortable leaving his for the first time. So, I essentially spent three weeks sitting in the classroom every day watching the teachers and children interact and what I observed made me 100% confident in our decision to enroll at BHFS. First, I was amazed at how calm the teachers were regardless of what was going on. They handle difficult/stressful situations with ease and really remain level-headed and focused on what they need to do. These teachers have eyes and ears everywhere! Second, I loved seeing the children engage with each other. Even though they are still young, they do learn how to co-exist and I can see them watching and learning from each other. I would not trust leaving my son with anyone else other than the wonderful women at BHFS.
