Haircut was good but the barber was late to the appointment and the price was miscommunicated - said 50$ on the phone and once done said it’s 60$.That is okay if something costs more, but it’s not okay to not ask if I’m interested in this ‘extra’ service and then charge for it even though I explicitly expressed my surprise.

Terrible shop. Had me waiting an extra hour after my appointment and took the girl 5+ hours for simple box braids (natural hair) and the hair was parted very weird

I was in LA celebrating my husbands birthday this past weekend from NY. We stopped by Legends the  Barbershop.  My husband is very particular to his haircut and line up some barbers tend to push hairlines back. Reg the barber was very mindful of this fact and was able to follow my husbands natural hair line. I truly appreciated the work the Reg The Barber did on me. He saw me walking down the street and handed me his card and I thought to myself, “on my next cut I’ll come by and give him a try.” I came here and literally got the best haircut of my life. Growing up I’d get my hair cut in south LA; getting cut on Crenshaw all my life dealing with toxic masculinity and problematic language was par for the course. After a while, I just started going to the Korean barber shops. Here at legends; the discussion is woke, the conversations are uplifting, and I always come out of this shop feeling like a better version of myself. Come on by; ask for Reg. Really though, all of the barbers here are skilled.

Pretty good place. I didnt want to venture out to my normal shop in the east village so I settled for here. The guy that cut my hair was pretty skilled and did a very clean/nice job.

Reg the barber has been cutting my hair for quite some time now. Hes been my barber in NYC for years and whenever I travel to LA for business (Im a personal chef from Atlanta) I make sure to stop in and get my cut by the best barber. To be clear, I did not get a haircut here, so I cannot speak for that. However, the employees are so nice and friendly. I just happened to be walking by one day recently and noticed that my foot had been cut open and was bleeding a lot and the employees here brought me inside and helped me clean my wound and bandage it up. However, he schedules mostly by appointment and will take walk ins. He didn’t push back my hairline and he hasn’t cut up my face with sharp razors. Based on your face type, he can recommend multiple different styles. Reg takes a lot of care when cutting your hair. Also, my hair looks healthier since I have been going to Reg. I would recommend his service to anyone because you can’t have everyone in your head (true statement).Personality:Reg is very professional and makes sure not to have you wait (which is a huge plus). I have been going to Legends, Goose The Barber specifically , for over 20 years! I have always been more satisfied with the service and hospitality shown. There is also always great music and great conversations going on to entertain you while you wait.

Staying in LA for a while and needed a fresh and clean fade after flying in on a 13 hour flight. Read good reviews for this place. Unfortunately, it was just disappointing. Cool guy, wont name him, but definitely amateur level. Clear beaks and visible lines. Didnt ask for tapering. Asked if i wanted to wash my own hair. 50.00 id expect at the very least some of these questions. Had to go elsewhere to fix it.Check Vince the Barber...my normal guy recommended him to me... afterwards.

I been going to goose for 22 years and his haircuts are always on point and his customer service is excellent. And if you need a haircut when his not busy his others barbers will clean you up and make you look professional to go to a interview or if you are going to a event.

I have to give them a one star because I was charged a higher amount than what is posted on the services list. The sign says $20 for a kids cut under 12. I was charge more than that for my four year olds cut, without being given a reason for the upcharge.I dont mind paying for quality, but please charge as posted. Its rather unprofessional to do otherwise.Lastly, yes they can give you a proper cut here, but I wont be coming back nor will my friends.
