I just had my third class and I am on such a high!! Howard and the other students are great and so fun. I love the diversity of students. I’m a complete beginner and Howard and the classes are not intimidating at all.

HOWARD IS FANTASTIC! He has TONS of experience, he is professional, passionate, personable, PATIENT and he makes the classes fun! I originally enrolled my teenage daughter in his beginning classes but Im considering taking lessons myself! So glad we found Howard!

Howard is the best tap dancing teacher. I was a true adult beginner and hes taught me with patience and good humor for several years now. I even premiered in my very first live show last month! If youre interested in tap, his classes are totally worth checking out! Very reasonably priced, small class size, and he has some used shoes for rental for a couple bucks a class if you dont have your own.

I love Tap With Howard. He is a true gem and outrageously passionate about tap dance. His classes are fun, flexible and super low pressure - which is exactly what I was looking for a few years ago. I was a new mom looking for an “inexpensive dance class” to force myself out of my house and googled to find something in LA that wasn’t at a high pressure dance studio (you know the ones...where professional dancers show up all the time). I stumbled upon his classes but was nervous because, while I had danced for most of my childhood, I had never tap danced. As soon as I met Howard and started my first class, I knew i was hooked! He is patient and able to give personal attention to all of his students. He has such a vast knowledge of tap history as well which has been fun learning about along the way. The people in the class are from all ages and backgrounds, and I truly love coming to class and mixing with this eclectic group!

Howard is a wonderful teacher! I initially stumbled upon his class when searching for tap classes in the Glendale/Silverlake area. He graciously shares his talent and knowledge of tap dancing with his students and challenges them to achieve at or above their experience level. Students are of all ages. Pricing is fair and reasonable, with financial aid available to those who cannot pay full price. Howard greatly extends himself to help his students at whatever level they are and each class is unique and fun. It is a joy to dance with him and I look forward to every single class!

Howards class is wonderful! I started almost two years ago as a complete beginner, and its been such a supportive group. Ive learned so much about tap, dancing, and performing. If you have any interest in tap, I cant recommend Howards class enough, regardless of level.

I came to Howard with no dance experience, no rhythm, and no aspirations of ever being able to complete one successful tap number. Two years later and all of those things are no longer true! Hes a wonderful teacher in a convenient location with unbelievably reasonable rates, what more could you ask for?!
