Never got to drive because this company would not answer the phone at all. I really feel like I got scammed. I paid for three lessons and didnt get an email confirmation, their website is outdated, and they would answer the phone during business hours. This is my second day trying to get in contact with them. I will be demanding a refund :/

Daniel was definitely on time and the way he teaches is so calm and assuring, its fantastic! Id rate the lesson 5 stars for sure. Give Daniel a raise!

I chose this place based on the great reviews. Unfortunately it was not my experience thus the 1 star. Made an appointment for the DMV driving test for my daughter. Driver was scheduled to pick her up at 7:15 and NEVER SHOWED UP AND NEVER CALLED. I took off work to be here and waited to see her off. Once 7:30 rolled around obviously no one was coming based on where she was taking the test. I had to wait again for the office to open to find out what exactly happened. How about the driver didnt even notify the office that the student had not been picked up and wasnt going to pick her up.At $140 for this service, there were several cracks that could have been avoided. The driver should have sent a call or text the night before confirming the scheduled appointment, that way we would have been able to follow up with them directly since the office is closed at that time. At least we would have known something.I had considered giving them a second chance after speaking with the office, however after hearing the driver made no effort to communicate with the customer nor the office staff, its not worth the risk of giving them a second chance.Very disappointed and frustrated almost customer. Rename them F1 Driving school because you failed miserably today.

Great experience! Surprising part was my instructor had much more confidence than I had that I will pass the Drive test in 1st attempt! This instructor has hell lot of patience and is so cool and friendly - start of my class, my view of me driving in US was different and after 1 class - I could see myself driving in US! I recently moved from India to US and used to drive back in India. Amazing person to learn with, knows how to boost up confidence in his student and train him accordingly. I chew his brains a lot with my questions during my class - as in why not this way etc etc and he answered them all explaining the rules! So do i still need to mention his name here...... Any guess.... Ofcourse!!! It has to be Geo!! Thank you A1 and Jackie who mapped me to Geo as my Driving Instructor. Thank you Geo!! You Rock!!

I would like thank A1 driving School for accompanying me all the way to my behind the wheel driving test. I had 4 hours session with them and it’s really worth it. I passed my behind the wheel driving test with flying colors and I only took it once! Geo was my instructor and he did all the best of his ability to make me a good driver! He instructs well and he is very systematic in terms of driving! I gained my confidence in the road and I was able to deal with different traffic situations and managed it very well! Geo you are the man! Keep up the good work! You are really efficient and effective driving instructor! Also to Jackie thank you very much for your excellent customer service, I really appreciate it. They have very friendly and experienced driving instructors. Frank (instructor) was a great teacher. Very nice, calm, understanding, and is a very good instructor. The staff is friendly and respectful. Overall, the whole school comes together to help and make sure that the driving students are well prepared and can pass getting their license.

Thank you so much A1! Geo, my instructor, was amazing! I was a bit nervous in the beginning, but Geo made the lessons fun and I started to be more relaxed. He adjusts to your needs, encourages you, and is always positive. He really believes in you and your skills. Thanks to him I gained a lot of confidence and started to enjoy driving. Finally I got my license and cannot express how much Geo helped me to be a better driver.

I was completely new to driving and had Geo as my instructor. He was a great teacher and extremely patient with me. He goes over driving rules and techniques pretty meticulously and also understands very well that each person has his/her own unique driving style. I took five classes and could feel the difference between how I started and finished. I got my license at my first attempt too! Thanks, Geo and A1!! :)

Great school by far! I took 6 lessons with Robert, and passed my drivers test on the first try. I would recommend Robert to anyone!! Hes the best, always laughing and smiling!! He really has a way of making you feel comfortable and confident.

I had failed the behind-the-wheel driving test five times before I found A1 Driving & Traffic School. I had driven with a permit for many years but always messed up in some ways when I took the driving tests. Therefore, I really needed a driving coach who could help me get my drivers license at the sixth try, and Geo was the guy!One thing Geo did differently from my previous driving coaches was that he did not drive for me. There were several times that I went too close to the car in front of me but I was able to stop before I kissed those cars. When most driving coaches would have stepped on the brake for me (some might even scream out due to panic,) Geo gave me the opportunities to feel how much time I might need to safely stop my car. With his calm attitude, I felt I was trustworthy and gradually built up my confidence in driving. After Geos training, I truly believe that I can be a good driver without anyone telling me what to do when I drive alone in the future.I took fourteen 2-hour sessions with Geo within one month, and had practiced driving around the general Los Angeles areas including local streets and highways, even on the winding roads in Laurel Canyon. We usually had the radio on and chatted like friends. Although Geo seemed to be casual, he was quite alert when I drove. He gave comprehensible instructions when I didnt know how to react to the road situations, and his advices indeed helped me improve my driving skills.All in all, I had very happy learning experiences with Geo and A1 Driving & Traffic School (Jackie and Abraham were also very patient when I talked to them.) Most importantly, I passed my driving test this time at Culver City DMV. Thank you, Geo!

This is a good driving school. It was super easy to schedule my lessons with them and make payments, Jackie was always polite and helpful to me. All the instructors were very patient and pointed out my mistakes promptly. At the same time they never made me feel nervous and chatted very casually while driving.Its makes a lot of difference when you are driving for straight two hours :)I had total 12 lessons with them and most of the time Geo was my instructor. He was very friendly and encouraging! Definitely made me a better driver!Thank you all of you at A1 driving school!PS : they loose one star for messing up my pick up address more than twice.

J.P was great instructor...class was both informative and entertaining. Considering the serious topic of traffic violation subject, the class was not boring. The only inconvenience was the lack of desks (or tables) in the classroom.

After my annoyance at realizing I couldnt really contest my ticket, I did a quick search for best online traffic schools Los Angeles and found a positive Yelp for this one. I then found it on my list of approved online traffic schools, and decided to register and knock it out all in the same day. And boy am I glad I did. Got a discount on my registration, had no issues with registering or going through the materials, and actually realized that, besides one morning of heavy-footed driving, Im a pretty good driver!

A1 Driving and Traffic School was an awesome and informative online course. I would highly recommend this to all my family and friends. Please set aside 3 hours to pace yourself. Kudos to A1 Driving and Traffic School for a great experience.

If you are looking to get your drivers license and really learn the road, this is the place to do it. My driving instructor was Geo. Real cool guy. After two lessons I took the test and passed! Their great with questions and service is top notch. Thank you A1!

I had a very good experience with the driving school.They made sure that I got rid of a lot of bad habits after 5 years with a learners permit that I didnt want for the driving test. I passed the test after taking the 5 hour road package with them, which was very useful. I took the test in Staten Island right on the other side of the Overgraze Bridge.They scheduled enough time for me to get picked up in Manhattan and even had an hour lesson on streets very similar to what my driving test would be like.

George Guardado was my driving instructor. He was excellent. George was aware of my driving and expressed himself clearly and kindly.He was very helpful. I would recommend him to anyone regarding their driving needs.

I loved my experience at A1!My driver was Christi, and she taught me everything I needed to know before taking the test. She answered all of my questions, and was super patient with me.I purchased three lessons, and took my behind the wheel test the day after my last lesson, and I passed.Definitely a great choice!

Funny story.I went to traffic school here about two years ago. I arrived on time (early actually), the instructor was late. Place was a bit stuffy and the whole process from signing up to running the class seemed a bit disorganized, again, this was a couple of years ago.The instructor went around the room and asked us what we did to get here and if they were wearing their seatbelt.He gets to me:So what did you do to get here -InstructorAllegedly... speeding, I was in a different state-MeWere you wearing a seatbelt -InstructorNo, absolutely not- MeHe goes on and on and on about how thats totally irresponsible of me, I mean really lays into me for a while in front of the whole class.So are you going to wear a seatbelt now?-InstructorNo, absolutely not- MeHe goes on some more....So why not-InstructorMy vehicle is not equipped with one- MeWhat year is it?-Instructor2011- MeThen he goes on and on about how I am wrong and every vehicle after such and such year was equipped with a seatbelt and lays into me a bit more.Sorry you are incorrect. My vehicle isnt equipped with one, it doesnt come equipped from the factory, can we move on- MeOh reeeeallly, what vehicle is this???-Instructor2011 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe-Me LOL, I mean at that point I just had to laugh out loud inside cause this guy.....!But then it didnt end, he then starts telling stories about speeding motorcycles splitting lanes down the freeways in Los Angeles about how he sees motorcycles every day going 130mph splitting through lanes on the 405 or something .... I mean, I ride my motorcycle pretty much every day, I have never seen motorcycles every day flying down the freeway at 130mph splitting lanes, I probably have never seen a motorcycle on the OPEN FREEWAY at over 120mph but once maybe and they werent splitting traffic...but who am I to argue because Im not there when hes driving to work....but I think thats highly unlikely that multiple motorcycles split lanes of traffic at 130mph every day in Los Angeles.... HIGHLY Unlikely.Like I said, this was a couple of years ago, hopefully things have changed.It was a convenient location for me, the process was a little funky and the class was a bit meh but it did work out in the end.At the time I would have given the school a one star but seeing that it was two years ago thats not really fair but after that experience..... yea.... oy

Thank you Geo! Received my Cali DL first go at the Santa Monica DMV. I recently moved to LA from Australia - I have been driving for 30 years but wanted a single lesson a few days before my test to brush up and understand what the testers would be looking for. I had my own car and Geo took me around the area where the test would be. He was really clear, and concise in his instruction. He picked up on my strengths and weaknesses straight away, and at the same time instilled me with confidence in my ability. It was interesting that just driving around so many scenarios came up that were pertinent to passing my test. Geo knows many of the DMV testers and has great local knowledge of SM and also many other areas on the west side. Geo is really easy and fun to be with and the two hour lesson just flew by. I have my 1st lesson today with Timo. He is very patient and brave. I am nervous with a few bad habits. But I learnt a lot today. Hopefully by the time I finish all the lessons, I will pass the driving test and be a good and safe driver.

As a parent trying to sign-up my daughter, I find that this company is not very user friendly at all. They do not list their phone hours on their voice mail or web-site. Not sure when you will hear back from them. I spoke with a live person who said they were open 7 days a week. But I have not been able to get anyone on the phone yet at its 12:05pm- Saturday afternoon.

A1 Driving school was a fun and interesting experience. I purchased three lessons. For the first and third lesson, I had the honor of having Christi as my instructor with her extreemily fun personality, passion of music, and her influence of calming you down and getting you focused on the road. She gives you really good tips and notes and repeats them constantly so that you would remember them. Really good instructor for teenagers especially. The seccond lesson, I had was with Frank. he was very mellow and patient with me. He had great reflexes, laughed at my jokes, and when i was freaking out on the freeway he calmed me down and got me through it. He was so good, I just had to treat him to a starbucks. I love A1 driving school!

A1 Driving school is definitely the best driving school around orange county.The staff is nice and friendly. I took 3 driving lessons from the school and luckily, my instructor was Christi. She is a very friendly and nice person. She explained each and every rule clearly and I cleared my driving test within 1 month and that too in my first attempt.Thats some achievement for a person who has never driven before and also,who was damn nervous about driving in the first class but with Christi,it was all fun and amazing and I learnt driving in no time.She always encouraged me and said that driving is not so tough and she was so right. The examiner told me that I did not make mistakes,my stops were perfect, and she felt very safe with me while I was driving. What else do you want? I owe this to Christi. Thank you A1 and specially Christi. I would recommend this school to everyone who want to get their driving license.. Yayyyy!!!
