Excellent principal, strong enrichment programs, active parent community, sweet kids, and a Spanish Immersion Program that is the oldest in LAUSD. My daughter started in the Spanish Immersion Program in Kinder and is now going into 2nd. Weve been very happy.

Worse school!!The prekindergarten teacher is so old and doesnt have patience to deal with little ones even though she says that have many years of experience. She is super though with little ones. Better look for another school

My daughter attends the Dual Language Immersion program. Its the only 90/10 model for Spanish Language in all of LAUSD. Her first year has been great, her Spanish is impressive. We really feel like we are in a great community of active parents and involved teachers. We recently participated in two great beautification days that have transformed the look of the school, adding bright colors, amazing murals and shine to all the classrooms. GV also offers a great learning academy that is focused on math and science. There are plenty of enrichment programs like Mad Science, Soccer Shots, and Dance as well as free before and after school programs, LAs Best. I highly recommend this school and they are now enrolling Pre-K-5.
