Valley View is a wonderful secret public school, tucked into the hills of the Cahuenga Pass and consequently not on most parents radar. The teachers (and very active PTA) bring fantastic opportunities to the kids all year long, despite the schools small size. Love the computer lab, music program, gardens, library, extracurriculars, PE, field trips, and even the enjoyable fundraising events (fall festival, spring carnival, art shows, move-a-thons, book fair...).Definitely look into this school, even if youre not a neighborhood resident. There are several open enrollment spots available every year, and ALL families are welcome and supported.
Moved from California to Evanston Illinois. The kids are very nice, however the education is not. When I moved to Illinois, the school system had to catch me up because I was so behind. If you are looking to give your child a good education I do not recommend this school.
Go there. Its very good the field trips are fun and it has a lot of learning activities and a lot of learning time.
