We are very grateful our son is able to attend Angeles Workshop. The diversity of subjects he is being exposed to is a huge plus. Expert/Enthusiast days (where experts in their fields such as NASA) come and present to the students, and City days (where the students go out into Los Angeles on field trips) enhance the exposure to a variety of learning experiences. This helps promote bigger picture critical thinking rather than rote memorization for standardized testing.

We love this school! They learn so much they would never learn in a typical school, and it feels like camp every day! The philosophy is hands on, project based and humanist. It supports each youth in their interests and explorations, and is very personalized, with a 4:1 student teacher ratio, they get a personalized education. They end up independent, inspired to do their life’s work and to make a contribution.

Angeles Workshop School and the way they work with using Roll Playing and problem solving is amazing. Teaching the way we evolved learning.This school saved my family.
