Former student and absolutely loved it. Excellent teachers, staff and alumni involvement. I visit every few years and am impressed by the continued work of the administrators and teachers to keep the curriculum and facilities at the leading edge. Very proud to have attended.

Mirman is a very nurturing environment that is fit for any student it accepts. Many teachers show that they care very much for their students and will try to help the school be the best. Mirman allows their students to have many opportunities because of the fact that it is a very well known school. Mirman is a school that has changed many peoples lives for the best and readies their pupils for the real world.

Mirman is a lovely small school, where all of the children are well-cared for and supported. The teachers are fantastic and an emphasis is placed on diversity and tolerance. My child had an amazing education there, and Mirman is the right school for any child they accept.

This place is incredibly heartbreaking. The Head of School, Dan Vorenberg, is a complete authoritarian and grants his teachers little autonomy. The school promotes the idea that it is a warm progressive place in its promotional materials, but nothing could be further from the truth. My daughter was bullied here all year to the point where the other child threatened to bring a gun to school, and Dan told me he didn’t take playground talk seriously, and that child was not suspended, expelled, or even removed from extra curricular activities. When I asked for some results and transparency or I would go to the Police, I was red flagged and the administration pushed us out—ultimately leveraging my daughter’s education against us. This school is not afraid to go after your child if they feel you step out of line. The parents on here with glowing reviews have never tangled with the admin or advocated for their bullied kid. This place is full of institutional fear and is not a place for elementary aged children or their parents. Run, don’t walk, away from this school and the current administration, including Stephanie Leung, head of lower school. This place is hemorrhaging it’s good staff and students to, pay attention before you give them your tuition money.
