The best middle school Ive been to. The teachers and staff are really caring and want you to learn and be successful, they also want you to enjoy your experience in school, and make the school better every year. I would totally recommend parents to send their daughters to this school, they wont regret it. I love this school so much and Im so sad i had to leave it ( going to high school). I learned so much here, to be confident, brave, to respect others, and in this school everyone is family.

This school is a joke and so is the asst principal and the principal!!! The counselors are worthless as well. I have never been talked to so rude and disrespectful in all my life!!! These people do not care about your kids!!! All they care about is not getting in trouble with the board. They are lazy and will not help you at all! They are also very racist if you are white you mine as well forget anything getting done to help your children!!!!Please dont send your kids here! Do a transfer or whatever you can do to avoid this school!!!

I been here my whole three years. i regret coming , there were creatures such as roaches and mice. This year Mr. Anderson had a bunch of roaches on one side of the room . i can say that their athletics was good besides the girls basket ball this year . When you get into situations AP mostly add in parts or make it seem like its all your fault.

I went to this school for 2 years (6-7) and I can say that this school is horrible. No I’m not overreacting, unless you want your children to get confused and be in drama 24/7 then go ahead. Most teachers actually care but barley teach any good. My friends that came here for 8 said that there was way too many fights this year and the counselors barley help with anything sooooooo yea. Don’t bring your kid here it’s sucks.

I removed my daughter from this school a month ago after being a Target by the principle, now shes doing way better.....just sad how nothing was done after the principle called me and asked, yes may help u? And I just responded excuse me, so she asked again, yes may I help you? But with attitude, so I went off by telling her, I dont know your the one calling me so...Yes may I help you?... And then she told me... You went to the Van Hoose to report me.... I said yes I did, because you humiliated my daughter in front of the whole class....then I asked her why was she calling me she had no business calling then I hung up on her......Im only sharing this to prove a point on how ghetto she reacted...if she would had approached me in a proffessional manner things wouldve turned out very different.

Im just started there and my mom is trying to get me out. I was forced there and I couldnt leave because it my HOME SCHOOL. I have friends from Fairdale telling me the same thing. Because of fights and drama, (I think) ONLY THE 6th GRADE HAS TO LINE UP. We had never did that. One thing I hate is that the lunchroom. Once you take you seat, you can get back up. My friend forgot her ketchup and I had more then I needed,.so I passed her some. I GET CALLED OUT AND HAD TO GO UP TO THE STAGE AND THEY WRITE MY NAME DOWN FOR THROWING FOOD. I am so glad Im not returning there next year. Please dont sent your child there, unless you want her to come home with a stupid report.

This school doesnt even deserve 1 star. The teachers hand detention out like its candy. They are infested with roaches, ants, rats, and other nasty animals and insects. One day my daughter came home and said one of the teachers shook her and pushed her to her seat. When its hot the girls arent allowed to wear shorts so they are forced to be hot. This school us terrible

This school has serious problems, never I could imagine that adults in this school are bad and especially the asst principle and principle, they lie they paint your child as horrible and its not true. They are vindictive people. I have a teacher quit this school in 2018 for reason Im stating about. Dont send your child there and if you have her there, get her out out out! Principal and assistant principals are probably the most mean-spirited people I have ever encountered. I would not even give one star if it were an option. They show partial treatment and favoritism to students and staff. If they (with quick judgement and no basis) decide they don’t like you, you are in for a year of harassment, gossip, and bullying by the adults at the school. UNBELIEVEABLE that they get away with this! Read the other reviews. We validate each other!

Don’t send your child here it’s a horrible school my is not coming back here next year I’m glad it’s almost over grownups talk bad about the kids the school is drama ,fights,everything now they take the kids money in won’t return it like they that hard up I’m sick of this school,needs to be a board meeting about closing this school in starting over with professionals are stay closed forever.

I hate this school and regret ever going. The most ignorant administration ever. They give out referrals and suspensions like it’s candy. They are disrespectful and use race and religion against students when they get into trouble when those things aren’t even relevant in the situation. A student got in trouble and they told her that she is a disgrace to her family and the whole Muslim community. Also when I got into trouble they told me I was trying to act “American”, but I am American though , I was literally born here. It’s a pathetic excuse of a school.

This is the worst middle school you could take your child to. In 7th grade my class and i was casually learning math from the ONLY amazing teacher (ms alabudy) and a mice ran in the classroom. everyone was screaming because EW and we didnt get no apology except for a lecture on why rats are normal. NORMAL????? Teachers get mad at you for asking questions and there are fights everyday. smoking in the bathrooms and in the classes. Aps will laugh at you if you try to come to them for something serious. Favoritism is also a huge problem. My sisters teacher had a long stick of bread and a rat ate right through it. So yea basically free poison.

I wouldnt recommend sending your child here. theres fights, smoking weed in bathrooms and rude principles. Just do NOT COME HERE IN NA MILLION YEARS

This school is not fit it has bugs and rodents in it. The students bring drugs. There are racist teachers. Its not a productive school. The principals and counselors are not good people. They are hateful at this school. They judge off looks. The caucasian people have more freedom and lee way than any other race. This school is full of drama. And the staff are rude. This school has too many fights. The rules are ridiculous because this is like an alternative school the students are very disrepectful to eachother and the teachers are disrepectful to the students. They reffer to cutting your eyes at someone as bullying. If you send your child here be prepared for them to hate the school, ask to be removed, and if they are not caucasian they will have something to say about racism. Consider a school like highland for your child to go to. This school is horrible and it is academically a low school even though it is a magnet school!!! Thanks for your time and consideration!

I went to this school for 2 years ( 6th grade and 7th ) . i regret going here .. I had a choice between Stuart and Olmsted but I should have choose Stuart . Olmsted is a really bad school . they have rats all over the place . you will see like hair all over the place . the teachers would cuss at you . the principal is RUDE . she always have a attitude for no reason . Olmsted ruined my life . no joke ! i got bullied there and I told the counselor about it and they only called me down 2 times to talk about it but they said it was my fault . like how is it my fault I get bullied ? than I was on the dance team over there and I got bullied bad , like real bad because I wasn’t like the other girls on the team .
