They answer the phone quicker than other compounds and are quite helpful.

My child rides one of these buses. The bus driver himself is amazing, but the compound is a joke! Myself & another parent called over 2 weeks ago, because our children are waiting on a bus stop for 30 minutes sometimes longer, because they have us at a bus stop thats 15 minutes from our houses. (Walking distance) So besides the 15 minute walk there & back which is 30 minutes already! We have to wait 10-15 minutes for the bus (Not the bus drivers fault) So In my case I have a 6 year old and a 1 year old in a stroller out in the freezing cold for 45 minutes every day TWICE a day. Its ridiculous to be on a bus stop that far, especially when they have the bus driver going past our houses everyday! So I called the compound over 2 weeks ago & was informed that a superintendent would call me back. (The other parent recieved the same message). So after NEVER receiving a call, I called back today and spoke to a superintendent, she informed me that the bus driver isnt supposed to go that way and pass our houses, but what other way is he supposed to go? Hes going to pass our houses regardless of what way he goes. I explain how long we are out there & that its to cold for kids especially babies, to be out there that long and that far away. She asked when I left my house as If was leaving to early! Yes! Im gonna leave super early so my children can be out in the cold longer, Are u kidding me! *Sarcasm* I leave at the last possible minute, so my kids dont have to be out in this weather any longer then they have to. Then she tried to make it sound like it wasnt a big deal & like I was lying by stating Well if the kids were out there that long then we would have recieved other calls. ARE U SERIOUS! You have! Even if u wouldnt have, is one child in the cold not enough! Then she proceeded to tell me that she would talk to the bus driver to see when he will be at the bus stop. HOW DOES THAT HELP ANY OF THESE KIDS! Its nothing but a few click on a computer screen to add a stop to the route the bus driver is already on! It wouldnt be hurting u or ur job, and the bus driver is fine with it because Ive talked to him about it! But no! You would rather children stand out in the freezing cold everyday instead of make a small change that would help them. You should be ashamed of yourself! I will be taking this to the school board & if necessary farther! My kids & all of these kids deserve better! *Update* Just found out that I was lied to, that she was NOT the superintendent! So just so everyone is informed there is NO female superintendent.

Bus drivers come when they want to! 17 degrees yesterday 5 mins late. 14 degrees today came before pick up time forcing my kid to miss the bus. Last Friday 15 mins late. Yeah, when they want to!
