We are very pleased with the improvement that our son has shown just in 3 months after joining the program for Math and Reading. It has resulted in improving the discipline and confidence in our kid. The entire staff at Kumon of Madison is great. Ms. Sabrina has been working with my son since he started about 2 months ago shortly after he turned 2. She finds different ways to keep him engaged and excited about learning how to read. She really is the best. We’ve seen his improvement and can’t wait to see where he will be in another few months!

Madison Kumon has really helped my daughter with her reading skills. In 6 months shes already reading at Kindergarten level. She really enjoys going to the center and working with the teachers. This was a necessary supplement to my children’s school academics, especially during the pandemic where their adjusted workload would leave them behind playing catch-up. I was hesitant to put this added burden on them having never shared a similar experience when I was younger. There are days where my third grader can beat me at arithmetic and my fifth grader is blowing my mind with her skill set. Kumon of Madison has been indespensible during this uncertain time. With sporadic school closings it has been a consistent for my girls. It has helped one to enrich her math and contine to work above grade level while it has provided another with the extra support in reading necessary to make up missing academic skills and get back to grade level.

I am 7 years old and I joined Kumon in Madison, NJ, when I was 5. I felt very welcomed by all the teachers, people who grade your work, Ms. Wai, Mr. Kit, everyone! When I moved to the independent section, I felt really independent. I started with counting apples, moved on to additions, subtractions, multiplications, divisions, long divisions, super long divisions, and here I am now! Beginning fractions. I learned that 10 minutes a day don’t take out much of your day and 10 minutes a day bring you a long way. Kumon was a great and enormous advantage for me at school.Sofia

Kumon has helped my kids maintain higher standards in math, build their confidence, and maintain good habits of finishing homework daily. The teachers really care about my kids’ process. I can be rest assured that if we stay in kumon my kids will not struggle with math in school, but be well above their grade level and top of their class!

Liam began Kumon Reading and Math two weeks before the shutdown in March 2020. He had just turned four and was showing early signs of reading and really liked counting and numbers. Getting into a routine with loads of uncertainty in our day to day lives was not easy but we stuck with it and are SO glad we did. Without consistent pre-school to rely on, Kumon provided Liam just enough work to focus on each day to keep his mind engaged and developing. He quickly began adding and subtracting in his head (sometimes faster than I can!). Reading took time but once his confidence and stamina were built, there was no stopping him. He reads and writes everything and everywhere. One of his new favorite activities for fun is writing letters to his family and friends and mailing them each week. His Pre-K teachers are amazed by his above grade level achievements and often have him help other students in their classroom with reading and math assignments. We are very grateful to the Madison Kumon team for working with Liam and nurturing his bright and curious mind.

I’ve been working on the staff here for about six months and have been nothing but impressed. Every staff member understands what their job is during each class. The owners are organized and have a system to keep track of all the students’ work. Even the kids impressed me by knowing what to do when they enter the classroom and by diligently doing their worksheets. The environment is non-distracting and kept clean, which is especially important in era of Covid. Each student has a personalized plan to guide them to academic success, so it’s clear to me that this center is very effective.

My kids are loving their experience at the center and we are seeing tremendous results even after only a few months. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Kumon in Madison enough. My two children have been attending, one subject each for almost 3 months and it has made a huge difference not only in school but in their self confidence too!They do a great job getting to know the kids and helping on an individual level.

We currently have 3 kids in Kumon Madison NJ (ages 4.5, 6 and 7). They have been attending for slightly over 1 year and I have seen a tremendous improvement, especially in reading and writing. The owners are wonderful and caring and spend time with the kids as well as provide regular updates to parents on progress.

It has been nine months since my son started Kumon, so I wanted to add to my initial review. I remain thrilled with the progress my son has made in Math and Reading, but we are even more impressed with the commitment of Kit, Wai and their family during the pandemic.The family has been working seven days per week to make sure their students continue their lessons and improve their skills. The family is hosting Zoom sessions (three days per week for four hours each day) to help the kids virtually, which my son has found very rewarding as he can get immediate help with new topics or problem areas. As a result, he has not lost a step in his studies as Kumon of Madison has adapted extremely well to these challenging times. Thanks for all your great work you are doing to ensure your students excel.

Kumon provides the enrichment schools don’t have time for. It’s the perfect environment to join for children’s hat need supplemental work. One of my children benefits from enrichment and the other requires review. I cannot believe how much my children have grown academically which has given them both emotional confidence. Very good experience working with owners at Madison Kumon. They paid extra attention to every kid and knows their weakness & strength as good as their parents. Our kids who started there 3 months ago have made significant progress academically in a short period of time, not just to catch up but to get ahead of the curve. They also worked with us in a flexible fashion so that we can make agile adjustment to kids schedule & allow them to learn and have fun at the same time. My daughter has joined the Kumon program last year for both reading and math and over the time I have seen tremendous improvement in her math skills and ability to read and write. She was acclimatized to the environment very soon and had become more responsible with the homework. The staff is very professional friendly and accommodating with the time. The extra mile we took for her to supplement her academics surely helped a lot.

After enrolling my 3 children in two other kumon centers, I can honestly say this kumon center is extremely well run. This is a husband and wife team who truly care about each child’s progress throughout the kumon method. They are always available for questions no matter what. Their diligence Speaks volumes especially how kumon lessons were handled during COVID lockdown.

Even though Im a kid and most kids think Kumon is torture. This is a different Kumon and I SWEAR it will help you boost up your grades if your really suffering in school! This Kumon is one of the best Kumons Ive been too. Mr. Kit is nice and friendly and he will not get mad at you if you dont understand something instead he will go through it with you 1 by 1. The environment there is very quiet and clean. The staff is also very friendly. Take my word and give this Kumon a try!

Best place around to give your children the opportunity to get a head start in education by setting the groundwork for advanced studies later on! My sons are 4 and 5. They absolutely love coming to class and learning! The owners and instructors have welcomed my family and I will open arms and love. They are teaching my kids that learning is fun while building confidence and time management at a young age.

Proud mommy moment…Last night, we had parent teacher conference with my daughter’s teacher. We were informed that our daughter was doing above average work in both math and reading. OMG…That’s the moment when I wondered if we’re talking about the same student. Let me provide you with some background information. My daughter was previously enrolled in the Kumon of Denville for the past 3 years, however the result remains stagnant, until we changed to Kumon of Madison. Mr. Kit, one of the owners took his time, lay out a plan for the next 3-6 months of how my daughter would improve in math and reading. Don’t get me wrong, my daughter is very smart. I had concerns, especially from last year’s conference; which suggest improvement is needed in math and writing. Back to the conference, what a surprise, when we were informed that my daughter is averaging 98% in reading/Language class. This is a BIG improvement from last year. Wait, there’s more…This is what her language teacher told me “every teacher rave for a student like your daughter. Diara’s writing is one of THE best in my class” and there is more…The math teacher quoted “Keep up the good work, I am sure your daughter is ready for 6th grade”. Keep in mind, shes only in the 5th grade. Kumon of Madison is the place you want to send your child if you’re interested in concrete results. Mr. Kit, thank you very much for all the extra effort you and team at your center made in support of my daughter. If I hit the lottery tomorrow, I would definitely gather up a few kids to join your center, every kid needs this experience.
