My four year old daughter has been attending Kehl at both their Madison and Middleton for nearly a year. She looks forward to ballet every week. Great staff that know how to work with the specific ages very well.

I moved to this dance studio this year. They have really nice studios and welcoming teachers, and students. I was very nervous to switch studios but I found this studio very welcoming and they have a great variety of dance classes to choose from. They have affordable classes and also have leotards and other dance essentials, which I find very helpful and kind of them to do :)

I love dancing at Kehl! I have grown so much over the years not only as a dancer but as a person, everyone is so friendly. And the teachers are all committed to their job. Mrs.JoAnn is an amazing teacher not only for ballet. She isn’t a teacher who you wont remember, lots of her students still remember her even the ones who are adults!

We love Kehl. We my daughter absolutely loves attending class on Saturdays. The staff are also very welcoming and when my daughter was nervous on the first day, her teacher had so much patience with her and she finally warmed up. I highly recommend Kehl

My niece dances here and she loves it! I dont mind being her taxi a couple times a week! An hour round trip!

Thanks to Jo Matzners Sitting Ballet class at Kehl School of Dance my daughter who has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair and crutches to get around can take ballet, just like her friends at school. She absolutely loves the class and is very proud to tell people that she takes ballet and will even be in a recital.Sitting Ballet gives her a chance to do something her typically developing peers do so she can talk with them about her ballet class; helps her feel that although she has cerebral palsy and uses crutches and a wheelchair, she is not so different from her friends at school; and gives her a wonderful chance to make friends with girls with challenges that are similar to hers. The girls have become quite close. And, so have the moms! Watching our girls on the monitor, we have had the rare opportunity to connect with others in similar situations. We have talked about helpful resources, products, and services as well as challenges and triumphs with our girls. I have also watched Lauren develop strength, balance, and work on being better able to modulate her bodys movements, things that she really struggles with. Because she enjoys class so much, she is not aware she is essentially doing therapy! I also appreciate how accessible the space is, including the bathroom. We often struggle with spaces that are too small, dont have bars, or have steps to get inside so we really appreciate how easy it is to get in and out of and move around in the studio.Thank you for hosting Sitting Ballet! It is a very valuable program for the girls and their families.
