Having clearance sale. This store is closing

There was a man in line at the print center so I got behind him. I waited 10 minutes while he was being helped. Then another lady came in and went to the cash register. The staff then informed me the line was behind the lady despite her coming in 10 minutes after me. They helped the lady with the large print job first. That took 10 more minutes. Then they took the man who was out of line that I was lined up behind. Then they finally got to me 30 minutes after I arrived. I was having one piece of paper printed. They charged me a $2.50 service fee to print one piece of paper and a .17 cents fee for the paper. There was no posting about the mandatory $2.50 charge. I was told that it was a covid related charge started in November 2020 but Ive had print jobs with the company since them and never had the charge before. So many reason I wont be returning to this location. The cashier are far from helpful or hospitable. I recommend the fed ex spot around the corner off of union.Edit to add... The sneaky way they disclose this fee is sending you an email while you are waiting on your print job. No where is it posted in the store. I received the email after I finished my purchase and left the store.

Unlikely to return to this location due to poor customer service. I went in to pick up an online order. Before I could locate the online area, a representative asked to assist me. She walked me over to the online ordering and was unable to locate my order. She called for assistance and an associate came and told her, they need to learn how to read the sign and walked away. She called for a member of management and he came and assisted her in finding my order. I spoke with that manager and notified him of the issue with the associate who rudely acknowledged the young lady who asked for help on my behalf.

Ask for Jackie in the printing department. She will be patient and take her time to get your printing done perfectly!

Come here if you value being ignored and slow service! Came to deliver a package and was next in line only for the printing lady to ignore me and assist other people. When I finally got fed up and went on a computer myself to print my label the woman had the nerve to FINALLY come over and say “you know you shouldn’t use this computer without permission, right?” If I could give 0 stars I would.

This review is not about this store, its about the company showing inventory available for store and curb-side pickup when the item is not available in any store. Ive learned always call the store and see if its in stock, good luck trying this approach with Office Max, you may need to call a few times, guess its better than the hassle of having to get a refund for an item you got for store and curb-side pickup. BTW the item #-238964, x-acto blades.

Helpful servic but discount points for purchases is useless for individuals. Points post slowly and expire monthly. A waste of time

Wholly unprofessional. I waited for ten minutes in the print line waiting to be assisted, multiple employees saw me and no one said a word to me. I don’t mind waiting, but don’t ignore me for 10 minutes. When I finally said something to the woman at the desk sorting through papers, telling her I just needed to print one slip of paper, she said I needed to wait, very rudely. I come to this store at least once a week for my printing and shipping needs, but I won’t be back.

Bought a display printer got it home didnt work called the store for a refund was told couldnt get one until may. Called in may was told lie after lie so I quess now Im stuck with a printer that dont work. Good job office max scewing your scewing your loyal customers

A very good place to shop for school supplies and other interesting items. There are great things on the clearance corner and special bargains all over the place. The coping is reasonable too. Try it, you wont be sorry 🤗🤗🤗

Office Max environment was wonderful. Great people, very helpful, polite and team players. They didnt mind stepping in and helping each other out while servicing customers.

Very slow service, just needed to print tickets for an event because we were running late and our printer was out of ink. Line of multiple people and the staff working didnt know how to do basic Microsoft Office functions. I ended up helping the lady in front of me so I could get done faster. They did all say hello, so friendliness wasnt a problem - just competence.

9:07am and their not open... Employee is here but he said he will not open because he’s the only person in there.... Wait what?

I needed a flyer made, so I called the store and emailed the PDF. I was told it would be ready that day. Three days later, the staff couldn’t find the flyers or the emails. Sent the email again while standing in the store and four hours later, they still weren’t ready. If you are in a hurry, this is not your place!

Love going to this store in this location. The store is quiet and clean. Its easy to find what you need and I love looking around to see whats there.

I have visited this location several times and have found the store to be slightly dirty and the prices tend to be on the high side. There are a few responsible representatives that work there, but it appears most have no interest in assuring an efficient checkout. The selection is decent and it is well-stocked, but I dont feel that the pros of this location outweigh the cons.

The employees were curteous and helpful. The store layout made it fairly easy to locate items you may be looking for. The merchandise prices for most items were reasonable.

The worst customer service Ive experienced since moving to Memphis . Went in to get an email I sent printed. Has issues there, ok. But dont skip over me and help the next customer, like I havent been standing waiting . I thought that was very Rude and I dont take that type of thing lightly. Will not be visiting the Union location going foward. Who ever the guy was at the copy and print station needs more training.

Service can be a bit slow, but the staff is nice. If there is something out of stock, they are always more than happy to order the item for you.

Friendly staff. Helpful, intelligent. Most items kept in stock regularly. Neat & tidy store. Usually quick check out process.

Went in to buy a laptop, was ready to drop however much needed. The sales rep was so distracted and kept walking away I finally just left and went to best buy.

I have been coming here for 2 years now. Its always slow. Someone always loses my printing or forgets it. I was never notified and drive across town for nothing. The workers are always courteous upon arrival. Im not sure why this location is still around, barely helpful barely items

This store has the best staff anywhere. I only shop at this store for all of my office supply needs, new printers, ink, paper, etc. Manager is great!!

Friendly. Reserved an item there and picked it up. Service was very quick. While I was checking out other costumers asked questions and were pointed to exact isles and locations.

Wanda is the best person in the store. I end up spending more because of her. Lol!!

They are ALWAYS understaffed. I have been there at least 10-12 times and the printing area is always empty, when I finally get someone to pay attention to me (usually a very grumpy and rude senior man) it takes FOREVER to print, I have been there 45 minutes waiting for them to print 6 pages. I got so sick of the slow service that I went somewhere else to buy a color printer.

I stop by this location and asked for a stamp to be made. According to there sign it could be made the same day. I waited inline for 40mins to be told that they dont make them in the store. I asked for a mgr. and he told me ugh!!! I asked him again if they made the stamps in house again he replied ugh!!! What is that about? This is very poor customer service as well as bad management. I will not be going back to this location. Ugh!!! Lol

Just left and will not return. Waited five minutes at the mail desk while 6 people fumbled about behind the counter, not one acknowledging my presence. I finally chimed in with an excuse me only to have one young lady hold up a finger and say well be right with you sir and turn her back towards me. Wow. An all time low in customer service.

While never very busy, it is a good office supply store. The ink is always stocked and the staff is very helpful.

Going down the aisle and there is a very large leak from the ceiling pouring onto merchandise. Make sure to double check what you purchase.

I bought a tablet from them nearly 2 years ago. I purchased a 3 year replacement warranty for an extra $50 Or so. I went back yesterday to file a claim and get a replacement, and they said since they dont carry that model anymore, they cant help me... REALLY??
