The National Hardwood Lumber Association is the largest and best hardwood lumber organization in the US. They wrote the book on hardwood lumber grading (literally...I have a copy!). While primarily geared towards sawmills and concentration yards, The NHLA has a lot to offer manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, even retailers and hardwood end users.In the last five years there has been an increasing focus on public relations and media pertaining to forest products, particularly how the general public sees the hardwood lumber industry. This is really where our industry as a whole has some catching up to do.Cheers!Steve
