My girlfriend and I were almost late to class because the new security officer Mr. Cooper did NOT feel like opening the doors even though he was literally two feet away. I have two children that attend this school-- A Jr and and Freshman. The school is very good and they have a very good band program. My daughter has attended multiple band productions including marching band. I am proud to say that my kids are students at this school.

Best four years of my life. I owe it all to Mr. Robinson for sure, his wise instruction helped me limp through three more years of endless suffering. He helped me realize that all Ive ever wanted to be was a wizdard. His example in how he handled his challenges has enlightened me and edified my very soul.

The sports department needs more recognition as it is over shadowed by the drama and music department. Sports teams have to do fundraisers to get all of their funds where as the drama department is just given money by the school. Also the pit needs to be fixed as it is infested with wizards and lesbians.

There is more flavor in the water fountains than there is in the school cafeteria, there are so many portables that it is starting to look like a trailer park and there is more sarcasm in one of Mr. Driscolls classes than there is education in the entire school. Money is such a problem for this school that my grandma with a gambling addiction could do better.Overall: Eh, at least it isnt the prison school Centennial.

Even though our gyms occasionally are shut down due to mersa infections, this is probably the safest school to go to. Most of the safety we experience here is due to Tracy Harris. He is so large and strong and intimidating and good looking, that no criminal would ever set foot in this building. Remain curious Mavs?

This school is by far the worst in the west ada school district. the staff and admin are so biased. this school is absolute garbage, because the staff only cares about the popular students, yet this school is called the most diverse school in the district. the school only cares about the sports, because all of the music department has to fundraise for everything they own, yet the football and basketball teams get new uniforms every year, along with a new gym, and a new scoreboard

Ive met some of the best teachers ever at this school who have inspired and kept me going through the horrible years of high school. I learned wonderful life skills including you cant fix stupid and learning how to adapt and dream sideways. Were a very privileged school both financially and teacher wise. However, The arts and acedemic programs are heavily underappreciated as there are full blow assemblies when any SPORT makes it to state, and NO recognition when the speech and debate department goes to NATIONALS or the drama department earns medals in state. No one really knows much about the robotics team and FFA. Academics are not honored and sports overshadow everything. Yet, I still gained a phenomenal education and you can tell the teachers care. The overall focus of the school is just not very balanced.

Edgy highschoolers are going to make reviews of the school and say its awful, but it really isnt. The majority of staff are kind and caring, the classes that are available are wide in variety, and the counselors are dedicated to their job. Are there problems? Of course. No place is perfect. But as for the West Ada School District, this is the best school available.Sorry, Renaissance. Youre cruisin for a bruisin.
