The teachers are very knowledgeable and the students are very focus and do a very good job they help one another to help the clients. The young student that did my hair did a good job. No messes around my hair line. I do recommend this school to go and learn a career or to do your hair your face your nails and your eyelashes. They are always busy they know what they are doing. Ms. Reina is a wonderful and knowledgeble director and teacher she and her team go the extra mile for you to learn.

Always get a great perm and cut !!! Never disappointed!!!! Very patient stylist, work together to satisfy the customers,prices reasonable!!!! Looking forward to seeing them again!!!!!

It has been many years since I have enjoyed looking at and touching my hair. The ladies there gave me the look I have been paying and working for the past 3 years in one sitting. They were extremely nice and explained every step that they made. I have another appointment in a couple weeks for eyelash extensions. Update to follow.

Went in for a hairdo and love what they did. Had so many compliments on my hair! The only issue I had is they started me over half hour late which made me late for another appointment. Maybe just show up half hour before your appointment.

Been coming here on and off since 2018 for eyebrow waxing, manicure, pedicure and facials. Always great customer service. The instructors are very hands on and the students always do their best. Great service at a fantastic price

I was so very pleased with Marvelena, the instructor, and Connie the student that did my hair. The instructor checked the students work periodically, and instructed her in a very contructive and polite manner. They both made sure I was happy with my hair color and cut. I wish I could remember the young girls name who cut my hair. I was the older white lady! My girl did such a great job shampooing, cutting, and drying my hair. She said she hasn’t even hit her one-year mark yet, but let me tell you she did a fabulous job! I will be back there as a regular customer because they all were just so nice and welcoming. I absolutely loved it!

I was sent to Jj beauty institute by my Boss. I ask them to fix my everything. I was there for 3 hours and the students.. Mostly Erika were very patient with me. She did an amazing job and definitely did fix my everything. Thank you so much much. I will come back for a treatment.

I had gotten my eyelashes done a couple days before Thanksgiving of 2020. I really liked how they turned out. The lady was really nice and professional who did my lash extensions. I would go through her again. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name. I definitely want to go back and get lashes done again and a facial! 😊

The students know how put a nice shape to your brows.

Hardly anyone speaks English, so communication is very poor unless you speak Spanish. I went with a clear example of what I wanted. It was looked at very quickly and all that was said to me was ah yes I sat in a chair for nine hours no water was offered until the last hour, then I was given warm tap water. They pulled my hair so hard, I was in tears. It didnt seem to matter, I couldnt speak Spanish to them. Then one of the head instructors wacked my hair off.. then another instructor tried to fix it but it was already lost. I left in tears.

I’ve been there multiple times and they always have treated me with the best service. Very good quality of people and always clean.

I visit this beauty salon often for hair color and wax. Hygienic with all the safety standards and all the staff friendly and courteous. They are professionals and expertise at all the beauty treatments . Nice music and is so soothing!!!

Referred to the school by Bobby at Sally’s beauty supply. I had gone into Sally’s to get some supplies to try and fix my microlink extensions. I was not sure how it’s going to do it by myself, and I was voicing my concern to Bobby. She recommended that I go to JJ beauty Institute. I took her advice and I went in, although my type of extension was not something that they typically did in their school they were able to fix it to perfection by the time I left. I will return

I stopped in to personally introduce myself as a local business owner looking to hire and found no interest in any interaction from management. The manager refused to greet me, the student I wanted to hire had graduated but no one wanted to forward my information or help in any way.The student greeting me spoke little English and asked another student for help

Called around looking for school to do Brazilian Blowout. Surprised how many dont. Finally one that would, but only on weekday because they take 3-4 hours (long hair). Sorry but I work! Kept calling & found JJ Beauty Institute. Yes, they do & happy to schedule on weekend. You take chances at a school, thats a given, its a SCHOOL. So, were they perfect in every aspect? No, but instructor was attentive & student did a really nice job. I walked out with my hair looking fabulous =-)Small school, little hard to find entry (second floor & you get there from the back, away from street). Everyone is super friendly. Ill be going back for sure.

Great attention, service and very hygienic! Miss Reyna will NEVER let you walk out with something you don’t LOVE. It’s funny to see people complain about wait time but they’re the inconsiderate ones for not realizing they’re getting what they pay for. The STUDENTS are going to take as long as they need to ensure the QUALITY of their work. I love this place! Such a friendly atmosphere! The instructors always know whats going on. Never once have I ever witnessed a student getting reprimanded in front of clients! This is the only place I go to to get my hair treated, whether it be a cut or color.

Would give it 0 stars if possible. Went in to get dip nails and was waiting in the waiting area when I felt a sharp pain on my foot. I looked down and there were was ants crawling EVERYWHERE! I felt another bite and quickly got someones attention.I waited 10 minutes after I told them and still no one had some to deal with it so I asked for the manager. She looked at me but didnt say a word. She finished what she was doing and looked annoyed that I asked her to deal with it and rolled her eyes as she said she was sorry. Completely unacceptable. Writing this from the parking lot, completely disgusted.
