The whole-child approach to teaching and no homework but family and play time policy is what convinced us to switch schools! We are incredibly happy! Children learn best with PLAY and thats what this school does. The principal and staff are all on the same team and support each other. Its wonderful to watch play out because the children benefit from it the most!

We really like this school and so do my boys. The teachers really show how much they care about their students. They keep in contact with me often which is something I really like. This school really goes above and beyond for their students. Thank you to the whole LAA family for everything you do.

We took a tour of Liberty before we decided where to send our son to kindergarten. We met with the principal and he showed us around. We loved how small the school was and that they pride themselves on giving the students so much opportunity for play, interaction, and physical activity. Our son has now entered his second year here and he loves it. His favorite part of school is of course recess!! At the end of last year Liberty built a brand new playground for the students with the help of volunteers and families from the school. It was really an amazing day for this school. We love how involved the principal and teachers are with the students and their families. I’m amazed every time I walk into Liberty that they know who I am. It’s such a good feeling. Feels like family.

I have 2 children at Liberty. Its a great school. The new Liberty uses PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support) to guide the kids to better behavior and decision making. My kids love it! I love the nurturing environment, it gives my kids confidence in who they can be.

Why would your kid(s) go to a “traditional” school when they can go to a school like this? Liberty Arts Academy is the first school I have seen of its kind, where school has been adapted to the new times and the needs of children! It’s vibrant, it’s comfortable, kids learn more effectively, and kids don’t get sent to the principal’s office half as much as they do in other schools! And speaking of the principal, Brady Wald is AMAZING!!! If I had kids, they would be going to this school no matter how far! More schools need to be like this! Not to mention the teachers LOVE their jobs there!!! I got to do a tour and it almost made me want to work there lol 💙

This is the 5th year my son has been going to LAA. The principal is phenomenal. He legitimately cares about each and every child and family at the school. They focus on family and making education fun. The music department is stellar. The no homework policy makes life so much more enjoyable with your children. My son loves school and we are happy to be a part of the LAA family.

Our son attended the Preschool (3s) and is in the Pre-K class now... He absolutely loves it here. He is excited each morning to go to school and each night he tells us different things he learned throughout the day. The resources and activities this school has is second to none. The staff and Principal are great! We are so thankful as parents that our little is learning to be a well-rounded person. we love LAA and glad we chose the right school for our little bulldog!

Our kids have been attending for 2 years. Granted, it is small but they do a great job. Our kids have excelled. I would highly recommend Liberty or any of Leonas schools.

Teachers were ok, school is not.The no Homework policy sounds really great when they tell you about their studies from around the world. My kid lives in America and since all the high schools and colleges in America have homework it is irresponsible to not prepare kids for that. You get no school papers of any kind and have no idea of your childs progress until conference time, even if you ask for schoolwork to be sent home directly which I did several times.Attended here from k - 3rd grade, the principal is more concerned about generating money than the kids, I dont care what he says. Any principal who has a hands off policy with the students should not be working in a school. No counselors available, school lunches were terrible especially compared with the public school we attend now. On the first day of attending a better school my childs attitude was completely different, he came home smiling and talking about the things he did in class that were fun. Like science. He did his first class science project in 4rth grade because LAA apparently does not find science fiscally responsible, which is what I have been told about other things that the kids were not getting.I could go on, really I could, but you get the idea.

The school needs to come up with a solution for their entrance. Having people in the median every single morning is frustrating and has caused multiple accidents. There needs to be some direction and control.

I was a parent at this school. It is run down. The teachers here are great, but generally this school has ALOT less to offer than a public school in terms of activity and electives.
