The Rose Academy is hands down the best burlesque academy in Minneapolis, if not all of the Midwest. I have never felt more apart of a community and have been completely supported through my burlesque journey. The headmistress is amazing. The other students are amazing. The guest teachers? Also amazing.

Deeva and the other teachers at The Rose Academy are so wonderful! There’s always great communication and transparency, always welcoming and warm, and they really put the students first. Ive taken both burlesque and non burlesque movement classes with the Academy and I truly have adored all of them!

Classes with Deeva have been keeping me sane, especially in quar. Great environment, wonderful focus on body acceptance and accomodations and killer music! I cant wait till I can join her person!

This is a safe space for individuals of all backgrounds to come together to express themselves through self love and creativity! Headmistress Deeva Rosa is phenomenal and constantly strives to expand her teachings for all that step foot into the studio (or in virtual classes) 11/10 recommend!

I LOVED my experience taking virtual Beginners Burlesque with Deeva Rose and Cosplay Burlesque Basics with Phoenix de la Rosa at The Rose Academy! Both instructors are full of knowledge, experience, and encouragement. The support for all bodies, all genders, and all abilities was palpable even through the Zoom screen. The best pandemic decision I’ve made yet!
