When we found RiverTree School it was like a dream coming true for our family. Charlotte Masons philosophy brings an insight and respect for children and learning that surpasses anything we have known. RiverTree is loyal to her philosophy and methods. The result is an exceptional quality and meaningful learning process for the students. It not only provides true, effective cognitive learning, but also a learning environment that is nurturing, safe and inspiring. My children have been challenged, stretched and provoked to goodness this past school year. The staff truly care for the students well being and make an effort to see that each child flourishes and thrives.

RiverTree School is a unique place. On many occasions parents have commented to me that they didnt think a school like this existed. There is a warmth to the atmosphere that you can sense from the moment you walk in the door. The teaching staff is superb, the classrooms are beautiful, the parent community is supportive, and the curriculum is rich. Most importantly of all, the love of Christ pervades every aspect.I couldnt imagine sending my children anywhere else.

This is a great school. My children look forward to going to school each day here, and they have grown in a love for learning during their time attending here. RiverTree provides a nurturing and healthy school environment and I am very thankful for the talent and care demonstrated by all the teachers.

We had researched many private schools and were poised to settle on one that was cheery, but overcrowded, when we were given the name of RiverTree. Here we found a refreshing oasis for our child and have been thrilled at how she has blossomed and grown in her three years at the school. In their non-competitive, yet rigorous, environment, our daughter has delighted in the rich, classic texts while still being allowed the freedom to be a child. In first through third grade, she has studied composers and artists, the Bible, Greek myths ... she has sat in nature and drawn the likeness of a lilac branch or a pine cone ... she has memorized entire chapters of Scripture, poems of Robert Louis Stevenson and sonnets of Shakespeare ... she has read Black Beauty and The Princess and the Goblin ... and she has romped in the meadow and sculpted a seven-headed mouse out of beeswax. RiverTree offers a classical and Christian education without forgetting it is children they are teaching. While every private school claims to be unique, RiverTree truly is.

This is an excellent school where you will be delighted by the warm atmosphere, the dedication of the staff, and the attention to giving each child a well-rounded education.

Our family is moving out of the country soon. Moving away from River Tree is one of the things that saddens us most. We have been so pleased with the well-rounded education our daughter received.
