Dont bring your child here !! They dont do well with kids of color... My grandson is a very articulate smart 4 year old and way advance for his age. This place discharged him for being too active and was not able to handle him. Anyone knows that kids are active at the age 3 and 4 years of age. They wanted and tried to label him as special needs. He is not in no way special needs, just a normal active 4 year old kid. He was treated differently and made to feel he was not a good kid. Though, he was injured and bitten twice by another kid, no action was taken towards the kid that bit him and it seemed to me they basically sweepted it under the rug as it were nothing..The teachers with whom he dealt with in a daily act like she liked him but, I am very aware of people who put on a front, in front a parent, knowing she had a problem with him being black and active. They gave my daughter only 2 weeks and not 30 days which, what was should have been offered to the parent. For this place to be in business for the 50years they claim they have had, they cant do better for those of color. But maybe its a way to not have people of color within their community. My daughter was very excited when she first brought him to the daycare. Its sad when you know that people dealing with young children (child development center) work in this environment and bring a negative affect to very impressionable kids.
