Great place to learn Tai Chi. Very easy going learning environment. Absolutely no stress in performance expectations, you learn at your own rate. Very reasonable cost in my opinion. Colin Snow does a great job of running the school and is an excellent instructor/teacher. I will begin my third year of learning at Natural Step next year and I can’t believe the time has gone so fast. I always seem to learn something new in every class.Randy

I have been attending classes at Natural Step Tai Chi for the past 3 months, starting with Foundation Form and now taking the Short Form classes. I have to say that these classes are my favorite part of my whole week! The Center is a calming and peaceful place, a wonderful oasis in the city. Colin is a wonderful teacher, doesnt put on any pressure and is very patient with the class. The classes are small and intimate and my classmates are a joy to spend time with. With Tai Chi, I am learning a practice that helps me reduce the stress of my daily life and makes me feel better overall.Thank you Colin and your senior teachers for everything!

Im a newbie at Tai Chi and was worried that I wouldnt be coordinated enough to do it. I neednt have worried. Colin and the occasional other teachers are all excellent and go over the movements many times to make sure you have it. I love playing Tai Chi!I have also gone to receive Vortex Healing from Colin and the results have been encouraging. After the second session, I felt a great relief in my lungs which had been bothering me. I dont know how it works, but it does! The teachers advise you to play only to your soft limits, which means dont force it. It really IS play--with benefits: peace, tranquility, easing of tension and whole body healing. I highly recommend it.

I have been studying at Natural Step Tai Chi for over a year now. The instruction is thorough and professional and taught in a beautiful setting with a relaxed atmosphere. Students can advance at their own pace and are encouraged to share their thoughts to learn from each other. Various instructors teach there who offer different perspectives yet share the same basic philosophy and objective.I highly recommend this to anyone who is wishes to engage in a practice that promotes a full and healthy lifestyle.

I have been part of this school for almost 10 years now, and I continue to find it enriching and wonderful. The people that I have met through the school are outstanding, and delightful to be with. I hope to increase my time teaching at the school because it makes me happy, and is meaningful play! I am glad to share more of my experience if people want to hear it. Peace. Peter

A wonderful place to learn Tai Chi and to be part of the wise and gentle ways of Colin Snow. He is a wonderful teacher and has trained others to be so too. This is the place if youve been looking for a moving meditation that leaves you feeling balanced and refreshed. In addition to classes he offers instructional videos on his website which are very helpful in developing a regular tai chi practice. Colin has successfully taught me to move below the speed of habit - a real challenge.

Relaxing atmosphere and gracious, intelligent teachers. There is always something to learn. The best part (for me) is that you can learn at your own pace; without judgment, embarrassment, or illusion.

Ive been doing Tai Chi with the Natural Step School since 2007 and it has made a huge impact in my life. I started learning with my husband Dan and together we went through the entire short form. After about 18 months, I stepped away from the practice for about 6 months and realized that I missed it terribly, so I came back to the school to continue my study. It has helped me be centered both in my emotional life and physically. When Dan died unexpectedly, one of the first activities I came back to was Tai Chi because the teachers and classes helped me find grounding after my tragedy. Physically, my balance is much improved as is my posture and I have learned to slow down and take in life. Natural Steps emphasis on the meditative and healing aspects of Tai Chi give students a chance to learn to be calm and step back from the push of todays world. The school has also given me the opportunity to give back to the Tai Chi community as one of the assistant instructors, an opportunity which has allowed me to deepen and to better understand what Tai Chi is all about as I share what I have learned with Students.

I took classes for a couple years from Colin Snow and have found tai chi to be an integral part of my daily life. Practicing tai chi outdoors is a way to deeply appreciate nature. Tai chi helps relax me in any situation. Ive also learned that practicing tai chi before bed is enormously helpful in improving my sleep. Tai chi has been important in improving the quality of my life.
