Ive been coming to the U of MN for state of the art healthcare for years. I am fortunate enough to also be a candidate for various clinical trials - ya know - those pesky studies that ALLOW us to advance the frontier of medicine.Well today I am here undergoing a simple procedure as part of my second clinical trial. The science is sound, the people incredible and the repercussions - potentially world-changing.If you qualify for a study I highly recommend seeing whats involved.Seriously - check it out. π
Itβs a really great building from the U of M. I always have my yearly eye doctor appointments in the summer with my ophthalmologist Dr. Zabrowski. elevators are pretty fast. 10/10
Visited for a medical procedure - star rating not appropriate.
Excellent care, very professional and friendly staff. Nothing short of excellent. Five Starts, hands down!
Really good service
I had such an amazing experience yesterday at the dental office! Very nice front desk, they got me an appointment same day! The Dentist was very informational, explained to me what the x-rays were showing and was willing to sit with me and answer all of my questions. Overall great experience!
Wonderful Library in the bowels of this building
This is a wonderful facility with caring people providing very competent thorough dental care. My wife and I have been extremely pleased.
When I first started seeing a well reputable Doctor at the U of M in the Phillips-Wangensteen Building, I was beyond pleased with the level of care. All staff member in the Clinic I went to treated each patient as if we were the Only patient. However, since fall of 2015, I can no longer say that. There had been many changes initiated at the U of M. Many of the health care providers and other staff have left due to these changes. As for the patient, it has been a very negative experience for me in recent months. The Clinic that I once spoke so highly of, I am now leaving. Phone calls are Not returned. Attention to the Patient has dropped to the point that it makes one feel as if they and their health do not matter. The staff comes off as uncaring, only there for a paycheck and does not want to do anymore than they have to. It is a crying shame that a prestigious clinic as the one I was so proud to call my health team of experts has become a standing joke.
I go here fairly often for check ups and procedures. Healthcare is healthcare I suppose, although having everything in either the same building or one next door makes it convenient. I havent met any one who is not professional or pleasant. Even the pharmacy is 30 steps from where I usually go. For such a larger and well-known medical center, it just seems nice and homey. Having a Caribou Coffee certainly helps as well. And... its literally just down the steps and down the hall from the Green Line LRT.
Healthcare e is healthcare, and if you have a student its cheaper. But someone needs that say it, does the valet really need to park dozens of cars two lanes deep on the road outside, congesting and sometimes blocking the natural turnaround? Its baffling and frustrating, and for that I would go somewhere else because, healthcare is healthcare.
Need to wait toooooooooooooo long nobody care of appointment time, few doctors more more patient, doctors are best one, eye clinic,
Super busy place takes a long time to get to valet parking leave 20 minutes earlier or more for your appointment
