The Pav is a great place to enjoy volleyball. The staff is always amazing and helpful.

A rustic arena, modernized where possible, that harkens to the days of universities constructing unique structures to host college athletics. The Barn is truly one of a kind for its atmosphere; the fans in the upper deck seem to hang over the floor, the raised court provides a performance stage whose quirks can befuddle opposing players, the background behind the baskets plays tricks with players depth perception, and the concourses and stairwells can seem labyrinthine. It is a building reviled by opposing fans, but one that provides the Gophers a home-court advantage.

They sell beer here now, and the game is much better with it. Theres a great view almost everywhere, except the back corners of the student section. Its a lot of fun when theres a big game and the house is packed. Go Gophers!

Awesome venue.. had courtside seats for the mens basketball game and they were awesome!! The clubhouse was great also and the staff were very professional and helpful.. the prices for the beer was quite high but it always is at any kind of sports games.. had an awesome time..

The Barn is the most historic venue in the Big10 (sorry IU fans). The raised floor, the great site lines, the sky boxes. The club room is great as well. It is a true home court advantage. May it stand for all time!

Ok, how can you not love The Barn. Tickets got us up higher than I wanted, but upper level gives you the best overall view. Just understand that row 6 or above and you will not get a clear view if the whole scoreboard

An elevated basketball floor that the visitors hate. Gophers also not keen on it when theyre flying out of bounds trying to save a basketball or occasional volleyball. But the Barn is a superb, boisterous venue. The Pav is also cool. A great place to see volleyball. Opposing teams are shocked when they come in and its jam-packed. Both the Barn and Pav have a few bad obstructed-view seats. Unless you are familiar with them, I dont recommend trying to save a few bucks for those seats. Otherwise, the views are good to excellent.

The arena was pretty neat with a raised floor and awesome above screen; however, the seats were TINY! My group had to sit sideways to fit better....plus you arent allowed to have caps to bottles? When I bought one I got it with no cap....that is a HUGE inconvenience....and I know people spilled their drinks on the floor. Plus the parking to the stadium is a little goofy and I completely drove past the parking garage...

Really unique feel to a basketball stadium. Old school gymnasium feel with extremely limited frills. Lively atmosphere for a game, however buy the tickets to watch the opposing team play as the Gophers arent great. Go Badgers!

2019 is a storming year! First TCF and now the Barn! Crowd rocked with the Gophers tonight.

I was there to watch the 10,000 Lakes Robotics Competition. Its no outside food policy is very antiquated and insensitive to peoples diets, and the food choices inside are very limited and high calorie. It is a great place to watch robota, but if you are a vegetarian on a diet remember to eat before hand.

Popcorn had too much salt. Possible ruse to generate additional beverage sales? We may never know the full truth.

I have been coming here for 3 years for the FRC Medtronic Regional and I always have a good time building, competing and being with my team.
