This school is amazing! Both of my children have attended Montessori World. My youngest is a current student, and my oldest is now in 3rd grade. I can attest to the fact that the benefits of the education my children have received at this school are lasting.The education is well-rounded. The children learn how to do practical things for themselves, like getting themselves ready in the morning,tying shoes, fixing themselves a healthy snack, cleaning up after themselves. The children have lessons in Spanish and German, and their teachers are native speakers. They learn about science, culture, art, music, geography, gardening, reading, writing, geometry, math. The Kindergartners study multiplication and division!The school provides so much more than a daycare is able to. The teachers at Montessori World are devoted, caring individuals who are passionate about educating young children, and about the following the Montessori method. They are the heart of that school, and aside from being highly qualified as teachers, I always felt like my kids were truly cared for, and cared about.I sincerely could not imagine my children getting their early education anywhere else.

Excellent approach to learning and discovering new experiences. The teachers are dedicated to adapting to every students needs. The classrooms are a calm environment that allow students to concentrate on their work. The school does a fantastic job of preparing children for the future and instilling in them a love of learning and an interest in discovering their world. The teachers at Montessori World truly care about the children in their care. We have had only the best experience and look forward to the future as well.

This is an amazing school! The teachers are passionate about what they do and devoted to advancing the childrens learning. They teach a lot of essential life skills at an early age and ingrain the children with an independent, self-confident attitude. Preschool is preparatory for kindergarten and focused on teaching the children to be self sufficient. The program for kindergartners seems very advanced - Im really impressed with what these kids pick up at such a young age, far more than I learned in kindergarten (public school in MO)!

I am teacher of gifted students with very high expectations for my own childrens educations. I have been a part of the Montessori World family for 6 years now. If you are looking for a true Montessori Methods school, this is the best place in town for your child. If you want proof, come visit or ask other parents! Many are educators and college professors who have high expectations as well. This school will not disappoint! The faculty are all very well-educated with years of experience. The population of this school is very diverse and I love that! You will find children and teachers from many different ethnic groups and countries. This diversity provides children with immeasurable cultural and linguistic opportunities which can be tough to find in Mobile. It is a very loving environment in which your child will thrive!The independence and respect they teach children is phenomenal. It will carry into your home and sets a strong foundation for their future. Both of my daughters attend/have attended this school and love it. I really believe it is a hidden gem in Mobile!

This school is amazing. Its so much more than an eduction it a better way of life, it teaches them life skills and Kum Kum is so dedicated to each and every one of the childrens needs. My son is severe ADHD and she has gone above and beyond to work with us and I am so thankful for what she does for him and how involved she is with him I couldnt have dreamed for a better environment for my baby. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for child care its so much more than a daycareMy son has excelled on so many levels both educational and mentally.

Our oldest daughter started at Montessori World at 2 1/2 years old. She is now a Kindergartener and we could not be happier. She has grown and learned so much and her teachers are amazing. My youngest daughter started this year and is also very happy. They are very different children but Ms. Kumkum, Ms. Julie and Ms. Ingrid are able to relate to them and teach them in a way that they respond to individually. They are always excited to go to school and when I pick them up at the end of the day they beg to stay longer! I am so thankful I found a safe, loving environment for my girls to begin their educational journey. I know their years at Montessori World will serve them well for the rest of their life!

The past three years here have been really great for our kids. If you are frustrated with your pre-school doing more babysitting with a tv then providing any sort of educational stimulation then you will find Montessori World pretty awesome. The classroom and teachers provide a hands-on approach for the kids which is key for developing their critical thinking skills. The classroom environment is also set up to encourage independence in all aspects from choosing and completing activities, hygiene, cleaning up after themselves, etc. There are countless activities for the children to explore and there are always some great field trips mixed in throughout the year.The teachers are all well educated and have been there for years which is really great considering our previous daycare/preschools all had a high turnover rate of mostly college age kids.....yes kids!Plus they are very conscientious when it comes to nutrition. They provide healthy snacks which is a blessing considering the two previous daycares usually sent our girls home loaded on kool-aid and cookies in the afternoon....terribly frustrating.I highly recommend it.
